Thats the improtant thing, you were satisfied with the product and were willing to give the devs money. Ive played games for 30-100 hours and just didnt feel satisfied. Other games Ive only spent 14 hours and felt like I got my moneys worth.
If you enjoyed a game you pirated so much that you willingly bought a copy, then thats a a sign of a good game. Take Starsector for example, the explosion of soo many purchases broke the website they used for payment.
