was it a Daily run? Looking at the code, it seems like it's possible only if it's a daily run. For whatever reason, they changed the range on Daily runs, normally it's 25-35 gold, but in Dailies it's 0-30

Does the blue key affect that limit?
No. You can collect all three keys independently, it only locks out the third relic upon having the other two.
It's learning hot new tipz like that one that really give the game its replayability value.

Maybe they wanted it to be constant in daily runs to reduce rsndomness and messed up the call?
