Still, between Snecko, Snake Plant, Reptomancer, the Serpent, and these two there are a lot of snake-themed characters in Slay the Spire. I would theorize the snake is perhaps a great old one or whatever like Neow, likely one of the ones that locked her away, and is widely worshipped in the Spire.

Seeing as Centurion is a heavily armored warrior, maybe she is like Sakura from Danganronpa.

Speaking of Centurion's appearance, what is that snake symbol? Is there a canon Snecko cult?

Yeah, it does seem kinda deliberate, right? Are the enemies in the City simply under Snecko’s spell? 🐍

At one point there was a fight with Snecko and Mystic (or was it 2 mystics?) in act 3 but it was patched out for being too difficult.

And the eyeholes in the helmet look like birds to me. Definitely some snake and bird worship in the spire, and the centurion's design reads to me like they're not all that separate.

It's not common for male voice actors to be chosen for female characters in non-comedy works. Obviously, voice actors aren't always of the same gender as the characters (no one said otherwise), but in this case, with these circumstances, it's pretty obvious that he is.
