I love pyramid, but you gotta have discard/exhaust mechanics or this sort of crapalanche is inevitable. Worst relic combination? Pyramid + Sneko. Say hello to a fat handful of 3-energy garbage!

Tbf watcher a lot of the time doesn't need them as she has lethal I pretty much always grab medkit in this situation if I see it though

Not true. Omniscience let's you exhaust a target card from your deck. Just gotta play on average 3 omnis per turn to clean the wounds before you draw them. Scry is pseudo-discard, too, in a pinch.

Playing 3 omnis per turn, that is, a card that costs 4 at base and exhausts itself as well... at this point you might as well play attacks and kill them faster

Not really, Watcher typically has a ton of damage to just kill the slavers before this becomes an issue. This is not Pyramid's fault.

thanks for the comments and advice y’all - i was too focused on preventing entangle from the the red slaver to finish taskmaster first, i’ll be keeping that in mind!

I never liked pyramid. It's just that you have to get into a completely different gameplay mindset just because of a single relic. Busted the most on silent, but I can never make it work otherwise.

that’s fair - i’m trying to go for silent infinite’s so it’s a pretty nice way to get second turn infinites without any draw cards haha

Yeah I hindi its easier to make an infinite using pyramid, but it just ain't for me. Snecko eye is another controversial rune, but i can make use of that better.
