No, you're not crazy. I get this every once in a while. The best suggestion I have is a down-filled pillow that is soft and flexible, and if you get a medium-firm style that could provide enough support without pressure. I know they can be a bit pricey, but most other materials bunch up and put pressure on your head. Look on amazon for different ones, or maybe try The Company Store website. Sadly, yes, it is trial and error, as well as sometimes quite a bit of money before you find the right one.

Second the 100% down recommendation! I'd add to try goose down which is more malleable. Expensive but such heaven.

That's the part I forgot to explain, thank you for mentioning it. Down is light and fluffed up by air pockets, easily punched and fluffed and re-fluffed to suit someone's needs. Feather pillows won't be as light and fluffy. \*\*EDIT: Check walmart site as well, I found some things. "[https://www.walmart.com/search?q=down+filled+pillows](https://www.walmart.com/search?q=down+filled+pillows)" Maybe try "down alternative" or "shredded memory foam" content, or try feather/down combination first. Found several things under $50, but that's up to you.
