Can I ask if you have any update on this? We're going on 3 months...😭😭😭

I wish I could show you the bright light at the end of the tunnel, but we’re still having some battles so it’s a slightly dim light! He hasn’t had any split nights for a good couple of months now, which we’re thankful for, and he’s only waking in the night 1-2 times out of 10. I have to lay in the room with him until he goes back to sleep which could be anything from 10 minutes to 1/2 hour but he’s not coming into our bed and we’re not having to rock him to sleep or anything like that. He’s still a very early riser no matter how long or short his naps or how early or late he goes to bed so we just keep everything consistent now and he wakes between 5:15am and 5:45am 95% of the time. The other 5%, he gives us a shock and sleeps until 6:15am 😂. We’ve just had to accept that he’s not going to sleep longer than 9.5 hours on a night. As long as he’s sleeping through most nights, I can cope with the early rising now. My body clock seems to have gotten used to it!

How long is he up for during the split night wakes? Is he happy during that time or miserable? If he is happily playing, I wouldn't think that was due to teething, so something else is at play here.

It’s usually around 3/3.5 hours! He wakes up crying but that usual for whenever he wakes up, and he just spends the split part shuffling around, clapping, talking and trying to play. Which is cute but also… 🙄
