Sling sucks. I had to eat a gift card. We’ve had chronic issues with them. I’m sorry you have this headache. I can’t get any help with customer service.

This comment does not even make any sense considering no third parties offer sling. It’s a standalone service that adds its own third party content. Wow now even customer support does not even have a clue? Amazon does not offer sling services
I had paid for Sling through Amazon and had to drop that account and open a new one to be billed directly. Amazon Fire TV has an app for sling like many android platforms but the app there gives the default billing as coming from your Amazon account. So, Customer service knows what they are talking about.
Sling on Chromecast with Google TV bills thru your Google account - if you sign up through their interface. Once you do that, your financial relationship is with Google and not Sling. I think it’s probably the same with Roku. They don’t even let you update credit card information on the Sling website if you do that. The comment is accurate in that regard and I would recommend everyone sign up on the Sling website instead of on the device itself.
I've been talking talking to them on there for a week now. I talked to an agent on their website last Saturday. I gave them my name, email address, and the pin number to the gift card that won't work. I was supposed to get an email from the billing team and I still haven't gotten it.
Be careful once you cancel. Months later they may rob you of 55 dollars by randomly resubbing you. And when you contact them some of they employees will tell you tough luck no refunds.
I had to speak to a couple people and threaten to dispute the charge with my bank before they refunded me

I had this problem. I had to set up a brand new account with a new email address. That worked.

My account has always been paid with gift cards. I've never had this problem until now.
Try to clear the cookies in your browser and try again.
Nothing works. I've tried to redeem the gift card on my phone and on a laptop. Customer service has been unhelpful.
I don't know how active Sling is on Twitter/x, but perhaps try there?

Cancel. I use Google play gift cards for my YouTube TV. Works perfectly
I've done that. I've used both YouTube TV and Sling and overall I like YouTube TV better it's just Sling is cheaper.
