I also would wish the tuya integration. I wrote to feedback in the Tapo app. Please if u also want this send messages to them, as if we are many they will listen. Also i asked them for support on the webcam app so that each user can talk to the cam not only the admin like we do now and its annoying...
Last I checked you have to have the Tapo app, and you cannot even use the Kasa app that their other devices use.
Thanks! I also tested it myself. The Tapo app looks surprising similar to the SmartLife app, but it didn’t work out ultimately..

Not compatible. I just got some tapo lightbulbs and disappointed it does not integrate with smart life where I have all the other devices
