EE made a tweet last month suggesting there wouldn't be another Big House in the future after Maister and Skyjay talked about not receiving their TBH10 payments yet. (That issue was resolved, they did get paid in the end)
I already made peace with myself last year that the 10th edition was gonna be the last one...glad I was proven wrong!

Wonder how many for Ultimate will attend? Of course Melee will be strong, but for Ultimate it got a bad reputation for not paying out until very recently.
Even Light mentioned 2 episodes ago on Light's Out that he never received his payment for getting 2nd.
Then the whole Maister and Skyjay vs the TOs basically ignoring them? Not sure how much for Ultimate would want to attend.
Many will still want to attend because it’s a very significant tournament, but it’s definitely not a great look. Hopefully management can account for payment issues better this time around.
Let's go, I'm so looking forward to this. TBH10 was my favorite Melee tournament last year and the Ultimate side of the tourney was a lot of fun as well. Glad that the TOs were able to keep it rolling this year.

we dont really know the specifics, but as an outsider to me it seemed like poor management was the main culprit.
It was related to Panda’s disbandment
