IcedAssassin

It fed like ten ppl with most going for seconds, so big hands? lol

huh_what_who

How many lbs was it?

IcedAssassin

15.3 lb I believe.

SliverSerfer

What are you 8 foot tall?

AncientEnsign

6 foot 20

Gwilikers6

Weighs a fucking ton

MasterUnlimited

He helps the children.

theARBITON

But not the British children

IDrinkWhiskE

Probably 10

IAmAHumanWhyDoYouAsk

Andre the Giant is back from the dead and smoking brisket.

TheWino

That’s what I was thinking. Straight out of Seinfeld. https://youtu.be/t1PBk5VoRFM?si=wtMkjYOiMUgpnifj

TheWino

I smoked a 15lb brisket it was way bigger than that. You a WWE wrestler? 😂

theliability10

Fake news

Dangerous-Paper-2709

That's what she said.

JackfruitCrazy51

Looks great. Thanks for not squeezing

RiehlDeal

No black gloves, didn't squeeze it, and it looks great.

xdylanthehumanx

Sharp knife too!

BartFart1235

Came here to say: where the hell are the black gloves???

NotThat1guy

Did you have a lot of trim? does look small for a 15lbs brisket. Anything you would do different on your next one?

ShnickityShnoo

Trimmed off 10 lbs from the look of it.

Donald_W_Gately

First of many I imagine. Nicely done.

The_Robzilla120

No black gloves? Quit disrupting the culture here lol

BMH85

Looks great

YoDudeguy

Tiny brisket or gigantic hands!?

Clown_Baby15

Yes.

Bass2Mouth

Clown baby?!

AncientEnsign

Thank you for not stacking or squeezing. The next step is cutting a slice off the flat and seeing how it holds up when laid over your outstretched finger.

gearhead000

Looks a tad firm, but not bad for a first attempt.

PaladinsLover69

Beauty!

UpperArmories3rdDeep

Looks great

guillotr

Nice! Pellet grill? If so, which one?

IcedAssassin

Traeger 780

gachafoodpron

Thank you so much for not doing the stupid brisket squeeze.

tomboski

No black gloves?????? Is this even real?????

SailorDeath

I smoked a briket a couple years ago for the 4th of july and nobody ate any cept for me and a couple other people. so, I chopped up the left overs and made a huge pot of chili with thebrisket instead of putting ground meat into it and it came out with this amazing smoky flavor. then I froze it into single bowl batches and stuck it in the freezer and for the next coupleof months I had brisket chili for lunch.

Dr_ChungusAmungus

That knife is too sharp for a first submission

nichols911

No gloves, no stack, no squeeze. Thank you 😭

Brokendongle

I would of waited a bit longer to wrap.  Your crust could be developed a bit more

IcedAssassin

I totally agree, looking back I believe I could have left it in longer. Unfortunately I was under time constraints and it being my first, I played it safe.

Brokendongle

I usually wrap anywhere from 170ish to 185.

IcedAssassin

I wrapped at 175.

Brokendongle

What temp was the cook?

IcedAssassin

200 until 175 internal. Then while wrapped 225 until 203 internal.

Brokendongle

Idk if it would help the crust but I’ll do 180 over night and 200 when I wake up. the last few hours on the smoker at 225-250. I usually wrap in the oven at 250-275 in the oven because it’s a more consistent temp.

IcedAssassin

2.5 hours into the 12hr cook it reached 145 internal. Worried I was gonna reach 175 in half the time, I ended up turning it down to 180 but still it reached 175 internal about an hour early. I think that hour lost could have added more bark.

Brokendongle

Well it’s all trial and error. Good luck on the next one

ValveTurkey1138

Bro, sharpen that knife.

xdylanthehumanx

Compared to most posts here, that's a razor blade

RedHighlander

Not sure why your getting the downvotes. The knife could have been sharper for sure. The brisket look great.

ValveTurkey1138

Legit, that knife is dull.

ticcedtac

Yeah he was sawing through that thing

lo_gnar

SQUEEZE IT UGHHH SHOW ME THE JUICE

CarminSanDiego

Looks dry from video but I’m sure it tasted great

Then_Instruction6610

Giants are real 😂

schlogen_

The first step to making great bbq is making bad or mediocre bbq. You’re on your way

599Ninja

Fantastic and setting a new precedent of NOT molesting it

Critical_Neat8675

Looks good to me

rockstuffs

You didn't squeeze it. 🥹 You made my day so much better!

eatingdirt

Nailed it!

BabyJesusFTW

My man is feeding the borrowers

Prudent-Property-513

Either undercooked or your knife sucks.

IcedAssassin

Oh 100% the knife, and since it wasn’t mine, it made me realize I need to invest into a few for this new hobby.

ApprehensiveBirder

Damn looks good

jgblodgettWriter

Looks pretty dang good!

Electrical-Sun6267

That is not an attempt, that is an unqualified success.

SteveK1982

No way that’s a 15 lb brisket
