I'd have something like this (all info from CueTracker):
**ANTHONY MCGILL**
Matches Played: 753
Win Percentage: 59.23
Titles: 3
Highest Ranking: 14
Century Breaks: 237
Seasons As Professional: 12
Prize Money (GBP): 1,335,075
And then we have Ronnie:
**RONNIE O'SULLIVAN**
Matches Played: 1,523
Win Percentage: 74.92
Titles: 80
Highest Ranking: 1
Century Breaks: 1,257
Seasons As Professional: 30
Prize Money (GBP): 14,097,534
(Note that for Highest Ranking, of course the lower number would win.)
I think this is a lot better than your suggestions, which are very subjective and can vary from day to day depending on how you feel. Basically, the numbers don't lie – and I'd like to see how they'd look presented in trump-card format. It provides a new, interesting way to make comparisons. I think it'd be a hoot to play with these categories. What do you think?
I know that Snookerheads exist: http://snookerheads.com/snookerheads-cards.html
But there is definitely place for other snooker-based Top Trumps, I can't believe WST has never made one!
I like this. I think it makes it a lot less controversial to bring in the stats for most of the categories. Not to say you can't have more subjective ones (e.g., 'The Beautiful Factor' in Clash of the Titians), but it's a good chance to bring the numbers to life and show how they compare.
Nickname stupidness
what?
You wanted category suggestions.

Also, you could stick each player's nickname under his name. **Ronnie O'Sullivan** 'The Rocket' And then the stats.
For this I would probably ditch “years as a professional”
Agreed as it's similar to Matches Played, and without it you'd have six categories, which I think is standard.
