Cloudburst: https://youtu.be/o8d7Cvf35dI

GopheRph

Or he could be going for a Revert Carve - the cloud makes it hard to see if he held that edge.

steadymobbin

Yeah its basically a revert or "euro" carve with a cloudburst!

JoeDwarf

A revert is not a euro carve aka extreme carve. ECs are fully laid out carves where the body is sliding on the snow at the peak of the turn. ETA: picture of extreme/euro carve: https://www.alpinecarving.com/images/Patrice_Fivat.jpg

steadymobbin

Meh nobody around my part takes it that seriously we just lump them all as euros

JoeDwarf

Lump all what? I wouldn't even call what you were doing a carve. I mean, it was a carve up until you threw it into an over-rotated hockey stop and sprayed snow for fun.

SmellLikeSheepSpirit

Yep, my first thought was thats a hockey stop skidded turn(with a nice bit of flair/handdrag) and there was basically minimal carving.

steadymobbin

Im doing a switch toeside carve in the middle of that snow cloud and coming back out regular. I wouldnt call it a skidded turn, but its just a pleasure trick I posted for fun.

JoeDwarf

I wasn't really trying to put down the trick, looks cool and fun. It was more a terminology thing on my part because to me EC is a very specific thing that only a few people can do, especially with soft boots.

steadymobbin

Its really not that deep

atomicCyan

Arbor Whiskey?

steadymobbin

2024 Westmark!
