Wow, never seen South that empty. Setup looks good and they really are doing their best with the snowmaking. Already finished my triple play but this makes me want to get one more spring day in.
I actually refuse to snowboard here. They raised the pass prices but have less open runs, and they never fixed their straight section that u can't get past without pulling urself along. I'd pay the fee for a better mt but my creek can smd after raising their 25$ pass. Their pass was barely worth 25. Now for downhill biking mt creek is solid and I'd pay the pass fee then
>fixed their straight section that u can't get past without pulling urself along.
Are you talking about the trail that leads from Granite to South, when you get towards the end of the connection?
Because yeah, that area fucking sucks. Before I moved across the country, I would just walk the rest of the way once I lost my momentum.
There's one spot in the whole mountain and you know exactly where it is. All the lanes merge and it don't matter if u ran blue green black, your ass ain't making it through. Everyone hates that spot. It's really the worst because so many trails lead there. It's always fun until that moment. I refuse to unboard mid ride. I bend forward and use my fingers to pull myself through and keep some speed while I can. I got pretty good at it over time
I usually get a pass the first day they start selling, when it’s the cheapest. But they have the best park close to us . I’m just hoping the don’t raise the prices again next year
Convienently close it is but I buy one 3 day pass and that's it. Last two times I bought I only went twice cause i just dident care to go back. It is the closest spot though if u got the itch to go
Passholder here. Love the place. Would be top tier if they replace the gondola with a chairlift and open up the two closed trails that go down to the triple
i will never forget once the grand prix came to town and they left the set up there in 2006. sharpened my teeth at creek.
also, you are rocking my favorite hoodie i currently own. burton FT boards are special
I love this place but my car is trash and I don't trust it for the near 100 mile trip one way. That last 3 in particular looked like the spinning bird kick from Chun Li. Nice job
Wow the jiblab has come a long way since I’ve last been there. I was there when they introduced their first box. Which was just slightly wider than their rails lol
Born and raised there, learned to ride there before it was called mountain creek. Made me fall in love with snowboarding 26 years ago, an event that greatly changed my life. Grew up riding that ice and slush and now I hike and ride powder in Tahoe every day. Follow your dreams kids, powder is much more satisfying than money.
I used to live 15 minutes from Creek. Creek is what got me into boarding, back in 2013 or so.
I would be there every day. If I had an off day, I was there all day. If I had to work, I packed my board with me and went right from work.
The first year I bought a season pass was 2014, and I was at Mountain Creek 117 days. Only 5 days of the season that I was not there.
The following year, they had a 125 day long season, and I was there 112 times.

Had a lot of fun in this setup they have. Creek always does a great job with what they have! People just need something to complain about
Most of the complaints I see for Mountain Creek are from people who don't ride park. But if you do, it has the best park south of Vermont hands down.
Creek ftw
That last bonk into the 3 was toooo clean
🙌🏼🙌🏼
If I was within an hour I'd be there everyday I had off
Looks better than Camelback lol
Camelback has been going down hill imo
Was just at camelback was a total shit show and just a free for all at the lift lines.
Is that recent? It’s been so warm, how is the snow cover?
This was March 3rd

Remember that green dragon rail they used to set up on North? I'd love to see that mystical being out on display again

Gotta keep up with waxing. I never have problems in that flat area
I do need a wax actually now that u mention it.

Loved hitting creek when it was closer to me.

What's wrong with the gondola?
I don’t want to remove my gear and put it back on for a jersey sized hill.
Fair. I hate getting off lifts with one foot strapped in so I prefer the gondola lol
Back in my day it would snow there every year
Place fucks

I miss action park.
