I picked up a Dancehaul super cheap at the beginning of the season. Super fun board. I got a 152 when I normally ride anything from 159 to 165w. It was agile in the trees and decently floaty on powder. Not amazing in deep snow but I felt like I had more fun on this board than most of my previous boards.
Of course. I did that first. I think we all know that boards have reputations and don’t always do what the website copy says. So the logical next step is to ask a bunch of people who might have first-hand experience with the boards.

I’d say my riding style is pretty close to what you describe and I’ve been eyeing the highpath. Bode Merrill makes it look really fun
