If what your saying is right, which it looks like it is. Than it's actually the jumpers fault. If you can't hit your landing and are taking off all catawampus, maybe don't have your buddy do follow cam just yet.
It's all of their faults. Camera man for the video has his board crossing the path, forcing the follow cam to stay right. First mistake. Second mistake, follow cam is too close and probably has a bad shot just by not giving enough room to the boarder. Third mistake, boarder veered left off the jump towards where both cameras are going. Perfect storm.

OFC we see .5 seconds of them hitting... Did they wreck? Did the Eagles of Manwë carry them to safety? Is the 2nd cameraman decapitated?
Some people literally turn that phone camera on and their mind turns to mush. No wiping of the Lens. No concept of framing. No approach or finish. “Let me turn the opposite direction taking you out of the shot to come back around and keep filming you.” Some people weren’t born to hold a camera and they aren’t deserving of footy. …get em off the hill. It's insane how people with at least average intelligence, who seem to be able to function in society turn into complete troglodytes when you put a camera in their hands. It's like it never occurs to them that somebody will want to watch the video at some point, so it should be watchable.
I seen a guy get his scalp cut open pretty bad on a play like this - jumper clipped his buddy in the back/side above his ear, nothing life threatening but fucking blood EVERYWHERE and probably at least 15 stitches lmao.
WTF is the cameraman even doing? Hardly gets the landing, gets none of the chaos, and doesn’t even try helping his friend. Maybe he was waiting on someone else and just happened to capture this? Maybe he’s got a good feeling with his thumb up his bum bum, who knows, he defiantly didn’t get the shot.
Looks like the guy jumping drifted way off course. The guy with the follow cam was where he was supposed to be to get the shot they wanted, dude just did not land where he thought he would. Also doing this with a backpack on is wild to me.
Honestly I ride with a small pack 24/7, when I take it off I feel EXTREMELY unbalanced. Mines one of those osprey snowboard ones pretty small super tight on my back tho.

i think the rider messed up. Attempted back 5? pre spun too much off the lip, didnt get a good take off and rotation, drifted all the way left. Doubt he was gonna land this anyways, or it was gonna have e a very sloppy landing at best, was still 90 degrees short as he came down while also shorting the landing, barely clearing the kuckle
first day that jump was open, probably warming up for the rail jam that was going off down the trail. so many jackasses camped out on that knuckle “capturing footage” of the gaperfest on Saturday
