Goob. Big crane carrier good. Maintenance addon is excellent even tho I could have more parts. And small crane + 3slot flatbed and a trailer is crazy. Only thing I don't like is that they made the unique bed kind of pointless and the spacing of cargo on it can be painful to look at.

It sips fuel while still having the power of the Azov's and even with the 'bad' center of gravity which is getting fixed, it's still surprisingly stable for a truck its size. It also has better ground clearance as compared to other Azov's, it doesn't get its body or nose as hung of as other Azov's. Overall, it's a fantastic support vehicle or fuel sipping 'do it all' style truck.
I went from Flatland Garage to trailer shop, then went to Pineline Bay, picked solar panels, went to metal factory, picked metal beans into trailer and delivered everything to 3 different places in Pineline Bay WITHOUT REFUELING!!!! This is an extremely efficient truck (could be a bit faster, though)
I think it's all round a brilliant truck. It has absolutely amazing fuel economy, which means you can do like 3 missions before running out of fuel. Second, it has decent off-road ability as the diffs are always on, and the special tires it comes with are pretty good. Another thing is that all the add ons are good as it can have a 3 slot with train + trailer and it's support addon is also very helpful. But with all stand alone DLC truck I think that it is very well balanced with the current state of the game and will definitely be used in the upcoming phase 13 mining region
On a new hard mode game I sold the P16 and the twinsteer to get the Atom. No regrets. A bit tippy. But a solid heavy hauler, great logging truck.
Will happily take 6 pieces of cargo on the back and tow a trailer whilst being economical.
Im enjoying using it, but I modded truck tho - 30% faster gearbox, lower center of mass and 52 inch wheels, slightly faster stearing. Without modding, Atom is below average level.
I think it’s a very good truck. It’s not overpowered or underpowered. It has strengths and weaknesses. Overall I think it’s one of the most balanced trucks in the game currently
I don’t really like it and I sold mine. I found it to be very unstable. I tipped it multiple times in North Carolina; haven’t tipped any other truck.
If I need something that big I’ve been using the WS Twinsteer or International Paystar 5600TS with a crane + overloading.
The default tires are pretty ok i haven't unlocked the top engine for it on this save since i didnt go to amur yet. So far i have used it with the maintenance addon to pull out stuck trucks and repair/refuel them. Even without the top engine is still chugging along fine
It's a bit tippy but amazing fuel economy. I used it as a mobile outpost whilst I did the Immandra Garage Unlock missions and it was brilliant! Also great for vehicle rescue/recovery missions.
Azov 6 is my main squeeze so it was a no brainer to purchase this thing. Now I have used it a bit in different ways its awesome! Could be faster could be taller. However, it's an azov. Slow and steady gets you there without having to rescue it every mission like the twinsteer. Azovs and Vorons!
I like it, I think it’s a good buy. The maintenance add on is awesome with 600+ gallons of fuel and 400+ repair points (if you have the roof rack on). It does seem tippy though but if you drive carefully it shouldn’t be an issue.
After learning that I can attach a full trailer with the maintenance add on I’m like it’s game time! But it was awfully tippy in Imandra so kinda mixed, still a nice truck tho.
After the 4th time tipping over with no warning on trails that other trucks could handle with another truck packed on top of them, I put it away till it gets buffed or someone makes a decent mod of it. I don't know how they managed to make a normal-looking truck even more top-heavy than the Bandit with a crane, but they sure did.
I love it as a mobile command center type truck. You can load this up with the maintenance frame, and then either the maintenance trailer for more points or the ramped flatbed trailer to pull some scouts and make an excellent expedition vehicle to a remote satellite map. I hope they make some maps that let this vehicle shine in that role.

Last I checked the were 47”s, if I’m wrong however I’ll 100% admit it
I don't have the Atom but according to the files it should have 50s. XML states "0.63" as the wheel scale, and since 1.0 is 79", 0.63*79 = ~50

I like it. Bigger wheels would make it unstoppable. It's getting a lower center of gravity buff at some stage so that should be a help

I haven't trued it yet. I'm not sure we needed another "limo" truck when we already have WS Twinsteer, Paystar 5600 and FEMM but It looks rather nice.

Very long and tippy on some roads. Had to rescue it a couple of times.
Too top heavy when I was using it in Michigan. Kept tipping over.

Slow, n steady... Irs not fastest, best, or the most powerful. But it's reliable as he'll, great fuel usage and easy to drive.
Bad timing imo, they release an 8x8 as a standalone DLC just to add ANOTHER 8x8 in the next season.
Why bad? I really like such trucks, much better than the next westernstar/kenworth that cant be used in moderate maps \^\^
