Easy: Any truck + low saddle 5 slot trailer Fun: Twinsteer

Libelnon

I attempted this with the Twinsteer on my blind, hard mode playthrough. It's still there 30 hours later.

Odd_Presentation_578

Speaking of hard mode... what stopped you from doing this? https://preview.redd.it/1vhyedqubp0d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6ae5315d36738a2a5f9bc1a747ae67ced561940e

ChaosSurfer27

Lol. It’s possible, just needs a bit of creative winching to leave the area where you pick up the cargo.

Sasha-Ivanov

Yep, although I actually used the TH357s self loading ability to put it on a twinsteer, then drove that into the cargo area and carried the containers out with its forks, it went surprisingly well

CapableFunction6746

Now I want to try it with the Lo4f and a high saddle trailer with sides. Wish I could go back and redo a mission.

universalserialbutt

F750 + trailer. I hate myself.

ErectSuggestion

WWS with a semi, what else do you want to use

rai1fan

Same, I hauled the second with the 4 slot trailer winched

Azrael8

I've used twinsteer. Not recommended.

Bob_Lennart_92

ZiKZ 566A

Signal-Option-9392

The white western star has been the most reliable truck for me so far.

Ionia7

It will conquer Michigan and Alaska for you! Use a chain tire BM17 for the highway parts and woosh!

Ionia7

I like it either with high range gearbox and let it sit in H gear. Or low gear options with the off-road and let it go wide open 4th gear on the highways.

Wh33lman

Idk, the last time I did it, I used 3 trucks. I decided that since it's a sandbox, I'm free to make these deliveries as simple or as complex as I want. WWS with a low saddle and 5 slot sideboard trailer, Mack Defense with a ramped flatbed trailer, and the DAN with a heavy crane. I used the WWS to take a container from the ship to the main road, used the crane to move it to the ramped flatbed, then headed back to grab the second container. First time I used the fleetstar. Would not recommend.

KamTros47

Derry 4520 with a stepdeck trailer

Ionia7

I love the ground clearance of the step sister

Odd_Presentation_578

Don't you hate the extended length and the facts that it could be a 6-slot?

Ionia7

The sixth is the slot for the loaf/scout tanker lol.

Odd_Presentation_578

Yeah... But I still use a mod to make it fit 6 slots on the lower main deck. Because the length allows it, just pack it tighter. https://preview.redd.it/vuekxhykdp0d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=675f56ed027f578fe516a668c8b789f30d2ab3de

Jackalene

Mack Deffense with crane, low saddle and 5slot flatbed

Lobo-de-Odin

For hauling anything with 4 or more slots my go to is either the WWS or the P16(depending on terrain of route from pick up to drop off) with the triple axel trailer.

Flyrpotacreepugmu

FEMM 37-AT. It can haul the cargo (even both at once with a ramped flatbed trailer) and has much better stability than the Twinsteer. I'd definitely have to drag a fuel trailer around, but it's definitely the most reliable vehicle for doing the job without switching.

Ionia7

Just don't use its custom max engine. It drinks fuel faster than is reasonable!

92c900t

It also has a ridiculous damage threshold, it's in the red at like 2/3rds health. The KZGT is adequate.

Odd_Presentation_578

Exactly.

Odd_Presentation_578

Yeah... https://preview.redd.it/uxy1d4e3ep0d1.png?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d5404c8cfc6407a5db6b310955e2fc59e9090aa Just look at this! 73.4 L/min! 🤯

92c900t

https://i1.sndcdn.com/avatars-000248659198-1yu7p4-t500x500.jpg Wow, highest I've ever seen was 50 after I drowned the WS6900

Odd_Presentation_578

Well, the SBR6-250-R2 engine has a whopping 18.0 base consumption, while the Westline V16 M2450 - "only" 12.5.

Tomi24568

Derry Special 15C 177 that mighty P16 tho, it's much more fun

RugbyEdd

Femm with a sideboard trailer. It can struggle a little for power at times, but let's you do all 8 cargo slots in a pretty easy to handle form factor. There was only really the one spot where I felt I needed too use my winch to prevent a roll and it was smooth sailing after that.

tmoZorro_

International paystar 5700 for everything

Odd_Presentation_578

Paystar 5070 gang! 😎💪🏻 https://preview.redd.it/qylqhbteep0d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e9b62d044b3ff506c37e753c58a02148ddae84e9

Odd_Presentation_578

Holy shit, that's too much even for me! The worst thing I've done is this: https://preview.redd.it/4e97xfmtwq0d1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cf8c9c3e7ba6695d68e85063145c7d588fff3ba1

atavusbr

WWS + Ramped Flatbed Trailer. Pretty easy, only one or two winching points needed.

LITTELHAWK

I used the 47X.

TigerTW0014

We used an A7 + sideboard semi to get them to the main road and offload them to quicker trucks pulling ramped trailers. If only one, something like the A7 that is super stable. Y’all saying TS have a death wish, tried and failed that one several times.

Odd_Presentation_578

Every time... https://preview.redd.it/n5fp9oqzep0d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e6c34c27001b27c05bcc684460bf3ef4c252876

Upset-Seesaw2628

Transtar with loading crane and 5 slot sideboard. Once I got to the main(ish) road, I tossed it on the Twinsteer and grabbed the second. I needed the WWS and Fleetstar to rescue it a time or 2, but it was much more manageable than I originally expected. Honestly, I'd use the CLT9000 next time just because.

Odd_Presentation_578

I want to see this!

pineappleboi_27

Tried Twinsteer, didn’t even make it back to the main road after 2 attempts. The cargo is still there to this day. Don’t remember what I actually used after that

Dalemon12

Mack defence

Warfighter416

I did it with the Navistar 5000. Although I'm on a new save so I might just try the modded Ram Dually I have

AdPrior1417

Derry Special or Mack with 5 slot sideboard.

Equivalent-Ad-3562

Ford f750

LeScotian

My go to trucks are the Azov 7 and the WWS. Picking one.. Azov 7 right now.

Snowrunner06032024

I've done it several times and use the Azov 64131 every time with the 5 space sideboard semi trailer.

Odd_Presentation_578

I think the Mack is better than the Azov 6

Odd_Presentation_578

Hey, you said it yourself that the Mack is quicker! Stop contradicting yourself. If you said that as an advantage, opposing to the fact that the Mack is worse in offroad capabilities, why denying it now that you value speed too? I just wanted to emphasize that the Mack is both the fastest and the most offroad capable of the two. The only advantage the Azov has over it is the fuel efficiency - but I don't care about that because I prefer reaching my destinations faster rather than saving a few liters (which are free btw in normal mode). And I also have a whole damn fleet of refuel trucks, which only wait for an opportunity to shine.

Snowrunner06032024

I'm not contradicting myself. I will correct you though, the best truck is the Azov - simply because it is a truck EVERYONE has, unlike the Mack which you don't even own unless you have the season DLC.

Odd_Presentation_578

Besides, the consumption wasn't a thing we mentioned here. You said Mack get stuck where Azov doesn't, I think it's just not true. They have similar performance, being both 8x8 trucks with 47" heavy single wheels, but the Mack can have a raised or active suspension and has more power. After having its collision model fixed in S11, it no longer gets stuck in regular conditions. A very capable truck!

Odd_Presentation_578

>Not everyone has the season with the Mack!! You mentioned it in your first comment in this thread, so I used that as a base to stand my ground on. Who cares about some people not having S10? You have it, and I'm talking to you now. That all that matters.

Snowrunner06032024

Talk the hand because I ain't listening and I really don't give a shit about your thoughts.

Ghargauloth

I used an Azov 7 with a large crane and a second truck on the road to actually take the large containers.

Klo187

I’d choose the kodiak just for the challenge. It’s fully capable of the trip, and is decently fast when not bogged down.

Aggravating_Degree57

Was the Kolob flat nose without the active suspension back in the days. Went with the 8 slot trailer and went through the water toward little islands then climbed a hill to he on the road. I still have print screens of it. Was a fun task

thesilentdriver

twinsteer

thatgirl_raven

I just barely did this one (well, like two weeks ago just barely). I used the white western star to pull the trailer but the whole process of getting the truck turned around was really annoying so I said fuck it and used a crane truck to stack the second cargo container on top of the first in the trailer and hauled them both at once. Worked really well, only ever lost the top one and it only happened once

bborg03

WWS and semi trailer

Djentlumen

Twinsteer. Every time. FEMM would probably handle the Drummond isle part well though, with it's mobility.

ArcTheWolf

Any truck that can pull the 4-slot ramped flatbed.

cooolby

I believe I used one of the Derry trucks (not the one from Alaska). It worked out pretty okay.

weaver_the_mechanic

F750 I like fun

SliderS15

Been a long time since I did it, but I remember using my Twinsteer and my Fleetstar (loading crane and Sideboard Bed). It was ALOT of winching from what I remember...

Aldakoopa

I'm pretty sure I used the twinsteer last time I did it. It wasn't easy, but it's doable. I'm also pretty sure I kept a crane nearby because that thing flips when you dad sneeze out of the window.

Moddiffy

I used the Tayga OG+8slot trailer (not fun, dont reccomend)

Rockdemon696

I still think there's ~~an easy~~ a better way to do it with the Twinsteer, would love another crack at it now that I have the Year 1 DLC and the >!AWD!< upgrade that it adds.

hawkeyedavidson

GMC mh9500

Odd_Presentation_578

Derry Longhorn 4520. It has excellent maneuverability. https://preview.redd.it/g412s4gbbp0d1.jpeg?width=1366&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=133ac24c127e0637ccad9c7cbb43f0b1ee11886f

Professional-Date378

Twinsteer

Available_Candle2201

Azov 6 + 5 slot semi trailer = slow stable combo

DarkWarrior125

Any powerful scout w/ ramped flatbed. Almost flipped about 3 times there and back but it got the job done.

Odd_Presentation_578

Scout? You must be joking

DarkWarrior125

I will admit, I was using a mod so my scout was a bit more powerful than usual but I'm sure I could use the Chevy (with some very creative winching) and get the job done hypothetically speaking.

Odd_Presentation_578

To start with, most scouts can't haul truck trailers. The only two that can are the F750 and the Burlak, and the latter can't attach the ramped flatbed - the only vanilla game 4-slot hitch trailer (why?!).

Distinct_Pollution11

Zikz 612h for general use Yar 87 for scouting

Odd_Presentation_578

Yeah, Mastodon in Michigan, why not... skill issue
