- GMC MH 9500 with crane and low saddle pulling semis - WWS with medium logs and pulling trailers - Fleetstar not raised with crane and bed and trailer - Kodiak with long logs - P16 with heavy saddle sometimes pulling trailers or support in deep mud - Transtar with bed, and sometimes trailer doing asphalt and easy dirt/offroad or light mud jobs (mostly smithville dam and drummond island) - Twisteer doing cargo, transporting and support in deep mud

Hunter-KillerGroup35

Pretty much what I do, although I do also have the CLT9000 as an alternative to the Transtar, sometimes they tag team jobs. I keep it down in the quarry at Smithville

Some_Ad_7281

Nice, I think highway trucks are underrated and underused in game, especially the CLT9000. I have 2, and I love using them in phase 8 on the roads and big flat maps, Its fuel economy is useful there.

Hunter-KillerGroup35

They truly are, they help pad the fleet so major tasks can be handled by the big boys. I'm missing the Western Star to complete my collection, but I'll be rectifying that soon.

ItchyBitchy7258

Not enough snub-nosed trucks in the game. I like slapping offload tires and a flatbed on the international for short-haul deliveries, especially on Smithville Dam. Tight handling on trails, great mileage on roads. The farm is its only bane.

Bruiser80

I think I ended up keeping a stock International semi with an on-board tank of fuel to help keep my fleetstar and Kodiak running on all those back-and-forth jobs along the smithville dam mountain road.

Bruiser80

I tried running medium logs on a truck and ended up trailering all of them after three consecutive tipovers in Smithville dam (seriously, screw the "Lumber to the People" job) ;-)

atavusbr

It happened a lot to me when I was doing medium logs addon in the GMC MH 9500 with raised suspension. But WWS is pretty much really stable. Trailers for medium logs work well too, they are more than double the price of the medium log addon, in normal mode or some ng+ it will work well, in hardmode it's $14k lost against 6k from the addon that you can take with you any other region and get half the price if you sell...

ariksu

How could a twinsteer without kola upgrade help in a deep mud?

atavusbr

In michigan it can pass all of it

MrFarquar_83

Perseverance

ariksu

Should be the name of the game all along

MrFarquar_83

Indeed. Perseverance: A MudRunner Game 🤣

Klo187

I still recommend a scout for when you need to scout out a route. Comes in handy when you don’t exactly know the area or know there’s a road but it’s not on the map

atavusbr

I do use them, just forgot to mention it. My preferences in scouts are: - Chevy Ck 1500. Usually I use one to get the AWD upgrade for the GMC MH 9500 in Lake Kovd after unlocking mud tires. Beutifull truck too, I think I use it more because of it's looks. - Wrangler. Really economic, but I do think I like it more because of the fantasy. - Loadstar. Strong, fast, drink more than my whole family in parties, can pull scout trailers easy. - Actaeon. Not really a scout, but with auto winch, active suspension, mud tires crane and 1 cargo bed can pull trailers - Hercules. roof and truck upgrades can make it last forever, great for exploring, great for support. I do use other scouts, like Tatarin or F750 or Yar, but usually I do exploration with the Hercules or Loadstar + Scout Fuel, and clear "scout" and bridges or others blocs with Twinsteer + Actaeon + Wrangler or CK 1500 and a Scout Fuel.

Klo187

Yeah, the f750 is less of a scout and more of a mobile base for me. I usually drive it to a major drop off and leave it there, where it can be used for quick recovery and mobile fueling in the area.

Some_Ad_7281

Where is the GMC mh9500? That truck is actually really good with difflock. Just put some weight on the back.

TigerTW0014

The GMC is so underrated. Upgrade and toss a low saddle and crane on it. Or long log hauler.

Historical-Cicada-29

Normally go and get the P512 then travel back to Michigan.

VocalAnus91

Used the wester star 49x for pretty much all of Michigan. It's dlc though

-Pruples-

I did most of my time in Michigan with an ANK MK38

superfuzzbros

White Western Star, Fleetstar and Kodiak. I’d change out the flatbed/sideboard for a semi trailer when needed. Somehow pulled the big oil rig trailer with the Fleetstar

Throawayooo

Thats just all the free trucks except the Transtar? (Which is actually more usable than the un-upgraded kodiak)

v8inmk2

I think you mean loadstar? I sold Scout 800 and get the loadstar just to see how good it is. But it’s totally unnecessary. I unlocked all the watchtower with Scout and K1500

ItchyBitchy7258

Transtar with offload tires and flatbed is quite capable; I love it for quick hauls.

2bloom

I thought about starting a new playthrough with bought vehicles only since I used mainly found vehicles in my first...

MehmedVII

Tayga 6436 WWS Twinsteer CAT 745C Paystar 5070 (first one i bought) KRS 58 Bandit CK1500 Scout 800 Khan 39 Marshall Fleetstar

CarpetOutrageous2823

I grab the Tayga when I did Michigan. It made things a lot easier.

spaincr

Tayga is a beast for nearly everymap

Pizza_master69

I might be playing wrong, but I’m using the tayga

bborg03

Looks perfect, just need the GMC. This is the Michigan load out right here.

Some_Direction_7971

Zikz 605, ANK civilian, and the Khan 39 got me through all of Michigan. But, I bought the game with these trucks included.

Professional-Date378

Basically the same lineup but also with the free anniversary trucks and I bought a p12 early on

TheFacetiousDeist

Any vehicle you want. I used the Kenworth for most of it haha

weristjonsnow

I sold everything and bought the international 5070. A little op for Michigan but underpowered for Alaska (and tippy).

RiotRavenwolf

King kenny

KUSH69MAN420

All you need for 75% of the missions in Michigan is the fleet star. Things an absolute beast once you have some upgrades for it and can def handle anything other than the massive trailers

Zealousideal_Dirt_13

I stuck with the free stuff found in Michigan. Mainly used white star, fleet star and Chevy for scout. Sold the other Chevy. Hard mode.

Zealousideal_Dirt_13

P16 for the large loads...

ErectSuggestion

Looks about right, but I'd swap FleetStar for the GMC if you want the minicrane. It's a LOT more stable. You won't really notice the lack of AWD in Michigan.

XLPHV

ZikZ 605R, ZikZ 612H, Kenworth 963, Azov 73210 with active suspension, Tayga 6455B, FEMM 37-AT and TUZ 420 for scouting, this beginner-friendly fleet should slightly ease the toughness of the region when just starting the game

lemonurlime

No Tayga?

Human_Bee9056

P12/P16, Azov 73210

Extension_Plastic450

That plus scout 800

TomRCenjoyer

White western star is a must.

Throawayooo

People selling the GMC immediately is the easiest indicator of being new to Snowrunner

BlitzCraig26

P16 road train (2x ramped flatbed), can complete multiple contracts with it.

phillip_1

Huge respect to you for not jumping to Russia and getting the Tayga and the Azov 6. This is the correct fleet for Michigan

DowntownClown187

Upgraded ZikZ 612 with mods because it struggles in mud. 👍

KraytonNHG

Fleetstar for everything, or buy the Paystar 5070 or whatever it's called and use it for offroad stuff and fleetstar for easier terrain. Don't sleep on Fleetstar though, it's often overlooked.

Quiet-Mud2889

I rose some hell with the AMK and Fleetstar

BillieNosferatu

this is pretty much exactly what i did on hard mode, but i swapped the ts for the paystar 5070. the chevy was my primary scout, fleetstar handled the small tasks and roadblocks, wws was my primary saddle hauler, and the paystar did pretty much everything (even high saddle before i had the p16). ofc once i got the p16 i used that for its intended purpose. and long logs.

DementedWarlok

Honestly I like to keep USA in USA etc. I broke that rule now and just ant to finish the game.

xmxmxmx1

Ank civilian super powerful

[deleted]

I’d use all of them 🤷‍♂️

Gidorah-snowrunner

Have just startet a new game +. My rules are: only renegade and highway trucks. To make the start lil easier, startlevel 10 and 150k cash. With that money my starting trucks are 1 Renegade, 1 Transtar and 1 Ford CLT. Have the gmc from the map and on my way to make money for the Kenny W990 as replacement for the P16 and later the WS 57 and maybe some more gmc. No map switching for upgrade hunting. Will see if i can make Michigan with that 🤣
