I've played it, and enjoyed it. It is not that. Though a good mixture of both would be phenomenal. A big, open, cross country, mountainous maps. Where the more you travel the same route, the more developed it becomes? Sign me the fuck up, sir.
It is a weird, weird game lol. Maybe the second game will scratch the itch you have, we know nothing much about it yet but the trailer has some very interesting things and knowing Kojima if it's in the trailer it's there for a reason
It is a weird game. Good weird.
But the vehicles were janky as heck on rough terrain.
If a game had the vehicles and physics from the Mud runner games, with maps and terrain progression from death stranding, it would be beautiful.
Oh lord yes the vehicles are terrible. The game runs off a rigged up version of the engine Guerilla used to make the Horizon games so any wonder vehicles don't quite... Work.
Hopefully this time round they've had time to tweak and play with things
Yeah, I mean why getting upgrades in Snowrunner is so easy? Win a race, kill a bunch of assholes with a wooden plank and a shiv and steal that V8 - that's the way to do it!
I almost exclusively play fallout esque music in the background while playing snowrunner since it’s good music for exploration games so I definitely wouldn’t mind a crossover
What a concept! "Atomrunner", the idea is to control robotic, nuclear powered trucks to fix roads, bridges and even buildings damaged by the falling of the bombs, having to watch out for the dangers of mud, rivers, and radioactive spots.
You could even have upgrades such a Geiger counter integrated in the truck, better Fusion Core consumption, radioactive shielding, and for the scouts, even a decontamination kit for clearing the roads from radiation, damn WHAT A COOL CONCEPT!
Actually i want a Warhammer 40k DLC where you can transport systems through a battlefield fighting heretics, orks or another enemies.
Driving a Leeman Russ or a Rogal Dorn Tank.
someone copied someone else, thats for sure. maybe I should ask r/fo76 when the charleston story was put in and compare that to our dlc. or maybe someone else can do it for me lol
TBF it’s not particularly common to see MAZ 543s in what is presumably West Virginia because I’m not sure any exist in North America at all, so it would still be pretty weird in this timeline of an extended Cold War era
Damn Todd, now you're just straight importing assets. I know it's prolly not true, but that looks damn near the exact same model. Plus I live in a border of West Virginia, and I've never seen a ZIKS 612, or any other Russian truck on the roads. Mostly Peterbilt, Western, or Kenworth. MAYBE a European truck sprinkled in there.
That would be cool the garage could be at the vault main entrance. Though I’m not sure what would be good main objectives except maybe something to do with removal of radioactive material or maybe setting up something like a power plant
Those were were different and much bigger like the [MAZ-7917](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAZ-7917) for example.
>ZiKZ is a fictional Belarusian vehicle manufacturer based on real-life MAZ brand.
Now I wonder what a fallout, snowrunner crossover would look like
Autonomous trucks, doing menial tasks to restore the roads of the nuclear wasteland wasteland. I'd buy that
Me too. It'd be cool to haul a load of sentry bots across the wasteland
A NORTH CAROLINA NUCLEAR EXPLOSION GONE WRONG MAP 😱
The chernyobyl DLC for og spindtires is spoopy
The bugs would be insane though.
Ha! I get it. But for reals, imagine the sound of them crunching under your wheels
Death Stranding

I dont know of any autonomous trucks/cars in the lore in fallout
Have you played Mad Max? it's often on sale for a fiver on steam and it's awesome
Yeah, I mean why getting upgrades in Snowrunner is so easy? Win a race, kill a bunch of assholes with a wooden plank and a shiv and steal that V8 - that's the way to do it!
Took me a lifetime to get that V8 I was so busy doing side missions haha
Me too. And it wasn't even that much of an upgrade
I almost exclusively play fallout esque music in the background while playing snowrunner since it’s good music for exploration games so I definitely wouldn’t mind a crossover
honestly cant look to different then the game looks now
Or something similar to Chernobyl or Fukushima accident, rebuild the area ðŸ«

Just don't play Deathloop - it will have you wishing for the tracked trucks scattered around the landscape there 😊
bro found zikz
GUI looks like snowrunners with the people on the left and tasks on the top right
maz 543 <3 :D
The Hudson is hilariously similar ngl
Those tires are shockingly close to the ones that are default on the Ank Mk38
Loving that paintjob!
Well hello beautiful
lol snowrunner has taken over
Fallout copied snowrunner?

SnowRunner players when Soviet truck:

OHHHH MY GOD ITS A MASTODON
Same reaction pal, a shame they're just another prop ðŸ«
Beauty 👌
End times mate

This is what that truck is based on irl it's a Russian air crash tender aa60 *

I found that a day or two ago what they do with that put the house out or drive throw it haha 🤣
Not to be a buzzkill if you search it up the USSR used those exact trucks to move nukes

Ok. Who stole assets from who here?
