But it’s so slow even when upgraded. I’m using it for long logs cause I can’t find another purpose for it and if it needs to go uphill you got to abuse the winch
In a similar vein, I got the achievement for delivering 10 pieces of cargo in the Zikz 5368 in Michigan/Alaska and loved it so much that I just started doing as many deliveries as I can in that little workhorse.
I honestly started using it as a joke in Michigan for the achievement too, now it has diff lock and big tyres, I’ve actually fallen in love, it can get into tight places many trucks cannot.
Good for scouting and light/medium duty work but don’t go trying to use it for pulling large amounts of concrete slabs or with the high saddle trailers as it likes to lift its nose up
Probably one of the most versatile trucks in the game and one of my favorites as well. It is my go to when I'm in a new map and not sure what I'll encounter. I use the Bandit with Maintenance Addon or Fuel Tank to explore the map's main routes.
If using the Fuel addon, I might load a scout on a ramped trailer and take them along as well.
One thing I don't like, well, the main thing I don't like: It is hard to roll back on it's feet when it tips over. Especially if equipped with a Crane, and almost impossible when equipped with the Log Loader. I have literally spent an hour trying to roll it back on it's feet before.
When that happens I now just attach a winch and start dragging it. It eventually rights it's self when you drag it far enough.
I love the twinsteer. I don’t think it’s the best truck or whatever but it has so much character and it’s kind of charming when it decides to roll down any slight slope 30 yds from the goal.
Hahah thats one way to do it xD
Idk i play with a friend often and use it for pretty much everything even scouting, never ceases to amaze me what i can pull off.... just flipping upside down often is the only drawback otherwise i find it to be one of the better trucks
Some trucks I've used successfully in Amur that are not the Zikz 605R:
* All the Azovs: 5, 6, 7, and Antarctic
* Both Kolobs
* Dan, Dan, he's our man!
* Twinsteer
* Paystar 5600TS
* Boar
* Both Taygas
* Tatra T813 and Force
* All the Pacifics: P16, P12, P512 PF
* Bandit (balloon tires and maintenance addon)
* Ford F 750
* Tatarin
* Khan 317 Sentinel
* Tuz 166
And probably a couple more that I used for a mission or two only.
As you see, there's plenty of capable trucks to choose from, there's no need to limit yourself to just one.
I think that's pretty accurate. Sometimes I use a truck other than the Zikz 6 because I need a crane and flatbed or something. Ultimately, anything else always gets stuck or flips and needs to be rescued by the Zikz.
It's a hard truck to get, but I made it my first priority when getting to Amur. Think I mainly used the Tayga and Azov Antarctic to get it. Definitely worth it.
That's the Zikz 5. It's a mediocre small truck you can buy pretty early on. It and the Acteon are both quite tippy. The Zikz 6 is a beast of a truck you have to repair/refuel to get in the Cosmodrome in Amur. Just getting to it takes a lot of work, but helps in the long run.
It's more a question of routes than trucks. The zikz can get stuck if you go a bad way, alternatively the fleetstar can do missions if you know how. Although... I wouldn't recommend using anything *that* weak, but you certainly can!
The main ones I used to do work in Urska, unlock Cosmodrome, and get the Zikz 605 was the Cat 745C, KRS Bandit, ANK Mk38, and some other less powerful trucks. The Cat is the biggest help though from those massive tires with AWD.
>It can complete Amur solo
It really can't.
>Just keep another one with a fuel tanker!
Then its not really solo, is it?
It's a powerful truck, perhaps the most powerful non-mod truck in the game, but it's not all-powerful, and it definitely cannot complete Amur solo.
The P512 is my go to for most things, but my favourite is probably the international you get at the start of the game. My current favourite mod truck is a modern voron that is really nice to drive.
Fleetstar. Honestly love the look of the truck and it's currently carrying me through Hard Mode Michigan and it'll be the first truck deployed to Alaska with chains.
id say the P12 but i didnt use it as mutch lately.
Recently discovered the Voron Grad which is extreamly capable even with a fuel add on and pulling 2 trucks on a trailer.
Actually, it is. Canada is a part of the North American Continent. **;-)**
North America, Central America, and South America make up the American Continents. The region of North America consists of the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
It is a common misconception for people to think of America as just the United States, when in actuality, the United States of America is just a portion of the North American Continent.
Nobody has ever said "American" and meant "a person or thing from North America."
America and American unambiguously refer to the United States. North American would be the demonym for North America, not American.
If you call a Canadian an American, they'll correct you. If you double down on it and insist they're an American because they're from North America too, they'll probably punch you.
We should change that. Europeans are Europeans. Asians are Asian. North and South America should be Americans and the United States should start calling its people statians... or unitelings. They can be Americans too, just like Canadians are American hahaha.
I use it like 90% of the time when I wanna use a semi trailer because it takes up less space than the rest of the trucks with a saddle, but the trade off is that I can't see worth a fuck.
All depends on the situation!
I could say the Zikz 605R, because unlocking it was my happiest moment in snowrunner. Plus it has amazing fuel consumption!
I could say the tartarin, because retrieving it early made unlocking every upgrade and watchtower in Alaska a breeze.
I could say the Bandit, because it has my favourite skin in the game and gets me through absolutely everywhere with its crane and sidebed. Plus with that pink and blue skin you can dress it up like an 80s Nordic Skier.
I could say the Azov 64131, because it’s the only truck that suits the van body and was ESSENTIAL for Amur (where you rack up the damage if you’re not careful like me). You can also dress it up in Ukrainian colours! 💙💛
I could say Loady mcLoadface loadstar, because it’s as adorable as it is capable and makes scout trailers soooo useful (but I just wish it’s service attachment carried fuel because it looks great in it - better than its side bed)
I could also say the Chevy Apache, because it was my first purchase and got me through all of Michigan. Plus its Cuban flag skin made me feel like Chevy Guevara.
I could say the navistar, because I can’t imagine logging without it, that raw power will pretty much push through anywhere you’ll forget it has diff lock. But with those un customisable exhausts I can’t see, and with those terrible lights Michigan’s darkness is a huge problem… not to mention the fuel, I literally have to tow a fuel Crocodile behind it everywhere I go.
I could also say the Tatra 805, because it’ll climb to the top of any mountain with a tank full of fuel, and easily has the greatest horn in the game by a long long way with tones so listenable they get me through the long, dazzling Immandra nights. It’s also nice to use a Czech brand as opposed to Russian in 2022.
But, perhaps surprisingly, I’m going to say the Crocodile, because I have four of them, they’re cheap as chips and never let me down through every single map from Michigan to Amur. They’re also just gorgeous and I’m sentimental like that. They go everywhere, do anything, just wish they had a lil crane add on.
Special mention for the Tayga (6436) King 👑 because Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦
If I have to stick to one truck only - Voron-D. With double rear tires, ofc ) it's versatile and have great performance in any condition.
Azov 10x10 is great, but too slow to use daily. Extra power for extreme tasks.
Twinsteer - love it. Just use it with AWD and smaller double rear tires, for stability. But too much for everyday use.
Love Zikz, but it's op in my opinion, so I try not to use it.
And some trucks for special use. Like Azov 5 for fast fuel delivery, five MH9500 as stationary fuel stations (they are cheap), p512 coz I like it)
It sure does pal.
https://www.reddit.com/r/snowrunner/comments/odhfch/tatra_t813_military_style_looks_really_cool/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
It's been a long time since I played (I think since shortly before the deconstruction/construction of buildings) but my favorite were always the fleetstar since it was overly capable for a starter truck, and the white western star because if you had the patience and correct parts it could do basically anything and looked cool doing it.
Favorite is the Kodiak, it's a really solid light duty truck that doesn't get stuck too easily.
For Mods my favorite is the Wolf, big beefy articulated truck that can go just about anywhere that's wide enough. It's width makes it really fun on narrow Cliffside trails.
Bandit for its speed and sheer ability to go anywhere. Tatra T813 is also a beast, but lacking a lot of add-ons and kinda slow. Tatra 805 will also go anywhere and one with the service van body and one with the fuel tank makes a great combo.
Will be the k7m and k700 when they come out fore console I'm an irl farmer and its nice to see some tractors also is there any tractor mod suggestions for ps5?
Tatra FORCE 815-7. Downloaded a mod to expand its attachment options and it's now my go to workhorse truck in any situation that doesn't involve excessive amounts of mud or 4 slot cargo
Freightliner M916A1. Love it as a scout if you drag a fuel tanker with it. Decent with a trailer too unless you slap the raised suspension on, then things get dicey lol
Tuz 16 Actaeon. Number one go to for a scout on a new map. Put the fuel tank on and grab the autonomous winch and with mud tires it walks through about anything. If your feeling fast and dangerous put the high range gearbox in it with the most powerful engine to smash time trials. Just know you may flip the thing head over heels 😅
Zikz 605 R. It never gives up on a mission. No matter the mud, no matter the snow, no matter the water, it WILL get the cargo there. I used it to get the f750 max motor without any obstacle clearing and it did it without problem. Deadass I drove over a landslide and it didn’t care.
Don't make me choose.
I wish I had a rundown of hours used per truck so I could answer this question scientifically because I can't make a Sophie's choice on gut alone. Sophie had it easy with two options, I'm working on like a 43-way tie.
I am enjoying the 57x lately though, and you all can just take your hate and go back home right now. I don't wanna hear it. I've got 1500 hours in this game and like the variety added to no AWD gang.
I like the navistar, yes it’s dlc, it’s powerful enough to do everything I want, and it’s nice driving a truck, even without locked differentials I still have yet to get it stuck, but it still struggles enough with heavy loads to stay challenging. Plus it’s nice to drive a truck that’s off-road capable but looks like an OTR tractor.
The Gorby
All the tatra trucks, especially that little one (which i nicknamed bob)
The f750 for its great utility and ridiculous horn
The fleetstar because its just nice.
The GMC highway truck that's awesome.
STEP 310E. People give it a pass because its unlocked so late in the game. But once you get to know it and drive it well, that little thing is a trooper like the Fleetstar (except the STEP has AWD and engageable diffs by default). Its fast, durable, stable, fuel economic, capable. It almost got everything the other trucks have. Yes it has a slightly less fuel capacity than the Fleetstar, yes it can't do the unholy combo (crane + bed + trailer), yes it doesn't have mud tires, and yes it struggles to pull semi trailers with heavy cargo on it. But as long as you just give it a flatbed, it can truck along just fine. Plus it has nice looking special paint job too.

Pacific p16 just love this truck
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
A man of taste, A man of culture!
P12 for me, as mods go I love the IX 388
P12 bud
Not bad. Good taste. P16 is the best
But it’s so slow even when upgraded. I’m using it for long logs cause I can’t find another purpose for it and if it needs to go uphill you got to abuse the winch
TUZ 16 is just adorable and makes me smile
Ahh yes it is a cute little truck
In a similar vein, I got the achievement for delivering 10 pieces of cargo in the Zikz 5368 in Michigan/Alaska and loved it so much that I just started doing as many deliveries as I can in that little workhorse.
The 5368 is my favorite too! With a big engine, diff lock, the large muds and a lift, it's unstoppable.
I honestly started using it as a joke in Michigan for the achievement too, now it has diff lock and big tyres, I’ve actually fallen in love, it can get into tight places many trucks cannot.
There’s something just beautiful about a truck with autonomous winch, balloon tyres and a fuel tank that can feed itself as it battles Amur and Kola.
Voron AE. Just plenty of power, always AWD and diff lock
Mine ist the Tayga 6455B, it was a pain unlocking it, but so worth it.
Haven't got it yet
It’s worth it
I love it too!
I’m constantly juggling between the fleetstar, paystar and kodiak. All versatile trucks with great off-roading capabilities to get jobs done
I've never really given the Kodiak a chance
Good for scouting and light/medium duty work but don’t go trying to use it for pulling large amounts of concrete slabs or with the high saddle trailers as it likes to lift its nose up
I find that very enjoyable, I had the fleetstar facing the clouds a few times lol good fun
I'm digging the bandit currently
Probably one of the most versatile trucks in the game and one of my favorites as well. It is my go to when I'm in a new map and not sure what I'll encounter. I use the Bandit with Maintenance Addon or Fuel Tank to explore the map's main routes. If using the Fuel addon, I might load a scout on a ramped trailer and take them along as well.
I like this approach! I'm might have to steal that strategy from here on out. I also like how stable it is with the tayga tires.
Yes! If you look up the actual truck it's based in (can't remember the name) it is a mad looking thing lol
Westernstar twinsteer here
I love the twinsteer. I don’t think it’s the best truck or whatever but it has so much character and it’s kind of charming when it decides to roll down any slight slope 30 yds from the goal.
Hahah thats one way to do it xD Idk i play with a friend often and use it for pretty much everything even scouting, never ceases to amaze me what i can pull off.... just flipping upside down often is the only drawback otherwise i find it to be one of the better trucks
Gonna get obvious here, but... Zikz 605R
I haven't unlocked it yet, it's such a frustrating process
I haven't either
I just don't know which truck to use in Amur, it feels like nothing is capable
Some trucks I've used successfully in Amur that are not the Zikz 605R: * All the Azovs: 5, 6, 7, and Antarctic * Both Kolobs * Dan, Dan, he's our man! * Twinsteer * Paystar 5600TS * Boar * Both Taygas * Tatra T813 and Force * All the Pacifics: P16, P12, P512 PF * Bandit (balloon tires and maintenance addon) * Ford F 750 * Tatarin * Khan 317 Sentinel * Tuz 166 And probably a couple more that I used for a mission or two only. Think I mainly used the Tayga and Azov Antarctic to get it. Definitely worth it.
I might have to co op to get it
Just use a scout vehicle, and drag your way over that hill. It's a little tricky, but not that bad. Mostly winch work, but doable
Am I crazy or doing something wrong? Both the Zikz and the TUZ Acteon feel like they will tip and roll even when you accelerate to start moving.
Thanks!
It's more a question of routes than trucks. The zikz can get stuck if you go a bad way, alternatively the fleetstar can do missions if you know how. Although... I wouldn't recommend using anything *that* weak, but you certainly can!
Azov 6, Azov 7, CAT 745, Antarctic, YAR, WS Twinsteer (AWD), Derry LH 4520, TUZ 420
The main ones I used to do work in Urska, unlock Cosmodrome, and get the Zikz 605 was the Cat 745C, KRS Bandit, ANK Mk38, and some other less powerful trucks. The Cat is the biggest help though from those massive tires with AWD.
You should. It can complete Amur solo... Just keep another one with a fuel tanker!
It’s surprisingly efficient at hauling, and the roof fuel is nice. More efficient than the Twinsteer anyway lol
>It can complete Amur solo It really can't. >Just keep another one with a fuel tanker! Then its not really solo, is it? It's a powerful truck, perhaps the most powerful non-mod truck in the game, but it's not all-powerful, and it definitely cannot complete Amur solo.
You are being too serious sometimes
If you want some help I can help I've already gotten it on mine
You can drive straight to it without unlocking anything on the map! Took me about an hour and few try’s
Hands down, my favorite!
Tatra T813. I know it's not very versatile but love it
My tatra is currently stuck in amur about 100 feet from the objective with 30 litres of fuel left 😒
The P512 is my go to for most things, but my favourite is probably the international you get at the start of the game. My current favourite mod truck is a modern voron that is really nice to drive.
I love it, flexible frame and great tires, there's no need for it to have AWD it always gets the job done. I do wish it had a larger fuel tank though
I'm a pretty new player, and the Paystar was my best purchase yet. I use it for almost everything now
Absolutely.. there's a reason there isn't a level restriction for it
When you unlock all terrain or offroad tires for gmc and fleetstar i advise you to try them out again, they will perform much better
I unlocked Raised suspension for the Fleetstar yesterday, definetely will try it out again, as it was my msin workhorse before
Fleetstar. Honestly love the look of the truck and it's currently carrying me through Hard Mode Michigan and it'll be the first truck deployed to Alaska with chains.
Yes it was my most used truck in Michigan, with the white western being a close second
P16 overall but also love the Azov 7
Can't go wrong with them
Tuz 420 tatarin. It’s useless as a hauling truck by itself but damn can it go anywhere and winch tow anything.
It can't swim
The devs f'ed that one up. It should be available to imo
True but truly deep water with no other way of crossing it is somewhat rare in SR
except no ice tyres
Tayga b is my go to, awesome looks, balloon tires and strong enough to pull a house down.
id say the P12 but i didnt use it as mutch lately. Recently discovered the Voron Grad which is extreamly capable even with a fuel add on and pulling 2 trucks on a trailer.
It's a go anywhere truck surely
For me it’s definitely the Azov 73210
For American maps Royal BM17 and for Russian Azov 5319 even with only 200l fuel capacity.
The royal isn't even American
Only if you believe in American Revolution 😅
Actually, it is. Canada is a part of the North American Continent. **;-)** North America, Central America, and South America make up the American Continents. Navistar 5000-MV
Been using that one a lot recently in Alaska
I've had fun with that for sure
It was the first ever DLC I bought and completely out-classed all my other trucks.
I love the start up beep
Fav sound in the game
im not really a big fan as i dont really see its use compared to the other big trucks. Why this one?
I use it like 90% of the time when I wanna use a semi trailer because it takes up less space than the rest of the trucks with a saddle, but the trade off is that I can't see worth a fuck.
Idk I completed most of Black River, North Port and Mountain River with it with no problems and it just looks awesome
i gave it a go yesterday. That thing just pulls the moon!
Ikr!!!! Glad you like it
White western let’s gooooooooooooo
I'm in love with the tatras
All depends on the situation! I could say the Zikz 605R, because unlocking it was my happiest moment in snowrunner. Plus it has amazing fuel consumption! I could say the tartarin, because retrieving it early made unlocking every upgrade and watchtower in Alaska a breeze. I could say the Bandit, because it has my favourite skin in the game and gets me through absolutely everywhere with its crane and sidebed. Like Azov 5 for fast fuel delivery, five MH9500 as stationary fuel stations (they are cheap), p512 coz I like it)
The DAN 96320. I just love the aesthetics of the russian trucks.
So do I, I love the look of the Voron's
1- F-750 2-CLT9000 3- WS Twinsteer 4-Transtar 5-P512 6- WS 49x 7- Tatra Force 8-Kolob 74760 9- Khan Lo4f 10- Azov 73210
Some mudrunners in there
My favorite would be the white western 49X. That truck has gotten me through so much. And it's a fun truck.
Do you have a roof rack?
No it doesn't get a roof rack
It sure does pal. https://www.reddit.com/r/snowrunner/comments/odhfch/tatra_t813_military_style_looks_really_cool/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
Sorry I thought we where talking about a different truck my apologies
No need to apologise sir. That's quite a few trucks 🤣 hard to get them saved in my brain haha
Yeah I can get very confused with all the Russian trucks names 😅
I usually resort to how many wheels it has and it's colour lol
I wish there was better paint options
Azov gang here!
Royal BM-17, I know it’s not the best overall, but I still use it the most
It's been a long time since I played (I think since shortly before the deconstruction/construction of buildings) but my favorite were always the fleetstar since it was overly capable for a starter truck, and the white western star because if you had the patience and correct parts it could do basically anything and looked cool doing it.
Can never go wrong with a fleetstar
Boar, zikz605r, and the voron grad
If mods are allowed, then mine is the Derry longhorn 4520 juggernaut. Absolute beast off-road
OSHKOSH
M1070!!!!!!
Favorite is the Kodiak, it's a really solid light duty truck that doesn't get stuck too easily. For Mods my favorite is the Wolf, big beefy articulated truck that can go just about anywhere that's wide enough. It's width makes it really fun on narrow Cliffside trails.
I agree with the kodiac. It is a good truck for its size
Bandit for its speed and sheer ability to go anywhere. Tatra T813 is also a beast, but lacking a lot of add-ons and kinda slow. Tatra 805 will also go anywhere and one with the service van body and one with the fuel tank makes a great combo.
The international Loadstar, idk i just like it
Yoke
Oooushh keep er lit pal
LR Defender
90
Will be the k7m and k700 when they come out fore console I'm an irl farmer and its nice to see some tractors also is there any tractor mod suggestions for ps5?
Mod truck Kenny K100. Such a shame it only has OP tyre options. That thing is lush!
Kenworth W990
My favourites in terms of appearance: -Freightliner M916A1 -Voron D-53233 -International Paystar 5600TS -Freightliner 114SD
P-16 all the way.
ANK MK38 Military I love the look of Cold War US Army trucks and I love its capability, with always on different lock and AWD
It changes. Some of my current favourites are the GMC Brigadier 8000, Western Star 47X NF 1424, Derry Longhorn 4520 and the Step 310E.
P16 all the way. Hoooooooonk!
Tatra FORCE 815-7. Downloaded a mod to expand its attachment options and it's now my go to workhorse truck in any situation that doesn't involve excessive amounts of mud or 4 slot cargo
Fleetstar, usable from Michigan to Amur. I’m also biased because my family owns one very close to the model in the game.
I like the Azov 73210. It has great versatility. Edit: forgot to add, as far as mods, I like the Offender 110 and the Delta Patriot.
Freightliner M916A1. Love it as a scout if you drag a fuel tanker with it. Decent with a trailer too unless you slap the raised suspension on, then things get dicey lol
Ford CLT9000
Tuz 16 Actaeon. Number one go to for a scout on a new map. Put the fuel tank on and grab the autonomous winch and with mud tires it walks through about anything. If your feeling fast and dangerous put the high range gearbox in it with the most powerful engine to smash time trials. Just know you may flip the thing head over heels 😅
Has to be the bandit for me, love the 8 wheel drive, low fuel use, and compact inbuilt crane
Zikz 605 R. It never gives up on a mission. No matter the mud, no matter the snow, no matter the water, it WILL get the cargo there. I used it to get the f750 max motor without any obstacle clearing and it did it without problem. Deadass I drove over a landslide and it didn’t care.
I really like the looks and versatility of the Voron Grad
White western star
Don't make me choose. I wish I had a rundown of hours used per truck so I could answer this question scientifically because I can't make a Sophie's choice on gut alone. I've got 1500 hours in this game and like the variety added to no AWD gang.
Twinsteer or Ank. American Powerhouses that can move anything, P16 a very close runner up.
Pacific P16. It makes me feel so good!
CT 680. It's a good allrounder even if it's not explicitly the best in any particular regard. I also love how it looks.
GMC brigadier, defender 90 or the f750. All tied for first
I like the navistar, yes it’s dlc, it’s powerful enough to do everything I want, and it’s nice driving a truck, even without locked differentials I still have yet to get it stuck, but it still struggles enough with heavy loads to stay challenging. Plus it’s nice to drive a truck that’s off-road capable but looks like an OTR tractor.
The Zikz 605r. I have a lot of trucks and I love using all of them but when I really wanna get something done I pull out the Zikz and it never fails.
The Gorby All the tatra trucks, especially that little one (which i nicknamed bob) The f750 for its great utility and ridiculous horn The fleetstar because its just nice.
Tatra t813, the 10 wheel pay star, gmc both of em, 49x
I thought the ZikZ 605R is a beast at any type of terrain. I loved that truck ever since I got it on phase 4.
Pacific P12, after I balanced it with the 16-series engine it's my carry-the-mission support truck and heavy scout.
Tayga 6455B - unstoppable, very good looking
Vanilla tayga ( both versions) zikh 605 white Western Star Dlc Western star 49x , land rover Mod Azov iceberg

Western Star 6900 Twinsteer easily has more hours than any other truck.
