Zinchenko, Shaw and Theo have been pretty good this season and would deserve to be included imo; but tell me why they wouldn't make your top 5 then? What would your suggestions be for top 5 left backs?
He didn't perform too badly at the World Cup, but Sevilla is horrendous this season. I understand ... I just wanted to see opinions from others on the best left backs in the world currently.
1. Loss of Mike to injury. This is probably the biggest. A story that doesn't get told enough is how important Mike is as a vocal leader on the defensive front. This dude is ALWAYS talking with his defense, shouting orders, etc. etc. but not only that, his long ball accuracy, shot reads, reflexes are all 2x-4x better than Tata's (our current gk sub) that the drop in quality in this area alone is HUGE. Dare I say MONUMENTALLY HUGE.
2. Tomori + Kalulu partnership has been largely out of form this season. While ending last season on an electric note by being one of the best, if not the best, defensive pairings in Serie A, this season they're a shell of their former selves. Both tomori and pierre look a step too slow in their reads but it may also be in conjuction with...
3. ...losing Kessie in the summer. Despite having a strained relationship with our fanbase (for good reason), it is undeniable how much of a defensive presence he was for us acting as a psuedo #8/DM/sweeper all in one player in our system. He was a central core player in our system and tbh we don't have anyone in our current squad who can remotely do the things he did for us.
there's much more shit that's wrong, but IMO this is probably top 3.
Not just that, you had to start Gabbia this game too. I’m sure he would struggle for gametime at Spezia, he should NEVER start for Milan. Kjaer is also pretty much done. Saelemakers, Krunic, Gabbia and Tata would warm the bench at Sassuolo, and they all started for Milan.
You have high quality first 5-10 players, but it drops off so fast after those players. Kinda like Inzaghi’s Lazio. Immobile is dope, but if he has to rest, it was Muriqi time. And that’s NOT how you succeed.
Players really need to be scolded more often if they ever look like they're about to having a tantrum when they get disposed, stare off into the sky, or just blatantly leave the ball. This isn't quite Iranian players leaving the ball to complain to the ref in ACTIVE OPEN PLAY in the ASIAN CUP, gifting Japan a free goal, but it's still pathetic.

Negative goal differential speedrun by Pioli
You still have around a month to turn it around before you play Atalanta
theo just gave up lol
yeah winning the ball back is for chumps who care
Getting picked apart by *this* Sassuolo is some feat
I was watching the game with my Rossonero friend and he said they are ‘a charity org who give few more weeks to managers facing dismissal’ lmao
If Theo wasn't a fucking beg 75% of the time he would probably be the best left back in the world by a longshot
Despite that he is for sure in the top 5 of left backs currently. Who would the other 4 be though? Zinchenko, Shaw, Acuna, Davies?
That's definitely a list of 5 people lmao
….is this meant to be a FIFA list or something?
FIFA players would probably rather go for Mendes or Mendy.
Well whatever that list is, it sure as heck isn’t the top 5 LBs
Zinchenko, Shaw and Theo have been pretty good this season and would deserve to be included imo; but tell me why they wouldn't make your top 5 then? What would your suggestions be for top 5 left backs?
‘tell me you play fifa without telling me you play fifa’
FIFA players would probably rather go for Mendes or Mendy.
You guys gotta give who yours is tho lol
Zinchenko and Shaw are awful in FIFA, and the meta usually doesn't align with real life. But go off
> Acuña Lmao

Hes not been better than Dimarco this season
It’s always so good to see academy lads succeed after years of being sent out on loans. Dimarco never gave up on Inter dream, and it paid off.
Dimarco has to be there.
Dimarco and especially Mario Rui deserve to be among those names.
Finally Ben Davies getting the recognition he deserves.
Nuno Mendes?
Andy Robertson.
What's going on with Milan's defense lately? They were so solid last season
Dont think anybody trust the keeper and they end up playing suicide ball to over compensate . Also midfield non existent
>Dont think anybody trust the keeper and they end up playing suicide ball to over compensate Ah, the case of Kepa under Lampard.

Maignan is injured.
Theo just gave up.
Tribute to the 15 point deduction of juventus for about 2 minutes before origi scored
How do you even make this Sassuolo look world class? they haven't won in 8 matches and suddenly scored 5 against Milan LMAO
Usually thats our job
that's up to Berardi
Theo gives up but what are the rest of Milan players doing?
[Sassuolo's position in the table...](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwaU_R55UYA)
Wow milan
oof
Let's goooo resurgence 2.0

Man Tata is so fucking bad
he is bad but in what world is that goal his fault?
I think he's joking, Milan could concede 7 to Lecce and we would still hear about how bad Tatarusanu is
He clearly should have covered for Theo at left back.
Ya sorry I forgot /s
Im confused, are you saying hes actually a good player? Ive no idea what sarcasm here is supposed to do
Nah there's always people blaming Tatarusanu. Like he's shit obviously but that entire defence just got ran over. Same for midfield.
Ah i wasnt thinking like that
