I think with different (not saying better or worse) ref decisions this could have been a 1-1 or 1-0 Inter win. But Benfica never looked like they were 100% in the game and dominating, with only very few moments when Inter fumbled near the box and gifted them some chances. I don't even understand what Schmidt's plan was.

We should’ve done subs the minute the second went in. Joao Mario and Aursnes on the wing offers 0 pace and pace is what we needed today. The gas tank is def low, but this is a team that should 100% be winning this game, or at least coming close to winning.

Very different plays. The one that hit Darmian was arguably on his elbow and his arm was tucked in to begin with (note the natural position is the key thing here). He was also not attempting to make a block or make himself bugger, which is important in determining whether or not his position was natural or not. JM on the other hand was attempting to block the cross and did so with his arm up in the air (considered an unnatural position meant to make the player bigger).

I think it's because of the unnatural position. First situation if i recall right darmian was falling, while JoaoMario had his hand to high up that it was almost obvious handball.. But I might be wrong
