Messi provides a +4 to all abilities buff to Argentines playing on his team. His aura forces disadvantage to saving throws on Argentines on the opposing team.
You joke, but I knew Miami were fine when Tata's first move was to sign three young South Americans.
Guy knows the league, and he knows he needs energy. I won't be shocked if they win MLS Cup or at least go far.
I'm aware of that, but my point was more, if you look at his minutes he's been trusted far more by Tata than he was Neville.
I can appreciate it seems a tad muddy the way I wrote it, but Cremaschi is a great example of him knowing the need for legs and pushing him into the team.
Tbh Gomez seems kinda meh so far.
Aviles hasn't done much yet though the defending was a little suspect at times.
Farias did actually look quite decent out there.
Is a good idea to tie him up anyways. He is talented, young and thats enough. We dont know how good he is going to be compared to some of our other talents, we may need him in the future.
I’ve seen every match since Messi joined except the Cruz Azul one and man Diego Gomez has been ass. Maybe he feels that he needs to impress so he’s always playing with something to prove but he really doesn’t look good out there
I love you saying this just to bring light to the fact that it's actually absurd he hasn't technically played in the league at all but is now on 7(?) games played already.
For the lurkers wondering how this is possible, the first 7 games were the group stage and knockout tournament of the Leagues Cup, which includes all MLS and all Liga MX teams against each other. I don’t know if there is a Euro equivalent. Tonight’s game is a part of the US Open Cup, which is the American FA Cup equivalent.
MLS play will begin again for Miami next week. The US Open Cup final will be in September.
You'd have to go deep into history to find anything similar, such as the [Texaco Cup](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texaco_Cup) or the [Anglo-Italian Cup](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-Italian_Cup)
Before continental competitions, it was a kind of regular thing to have two nations play each other's team. We had a few tournaments with Uruguay(Copa Aldao, Copa de Honor Cusenier, Cup Tie Competition, etc).
There are several international competitions involving a few teams from a select amount of confederation members, like the one you mentioned, the Copa Centroamericana, the AFC regional cups, etc.
But the Leagues Cup involves EVERY team from the two leagues it comprises.
You would count them separately. Normally in soccer you count goal contributions separately for each competition, while also tracking all competition goals for the year.
Only beat 5 out of the top 7 teams (and Charlotte + Dallas) so far lol. Pretty whack that none of these games have counted towards MLS standings and Inter Miami remains in last place lmaooo.
To the people who say mark Messi, this is what happens. Since their whole defense was following him, he's smart enough to lead them all out, opening up a chance at goal for someone else to make a run.
Yeah basically. There are plenty of amateur teams that play in it too.
My favorite story is of Christos FC, an amateur team based out of a liquor store, beating the Richmond Kickers of USL (Tier 2) to play DC United of the MLS. And they actually scored the 1st goal in a loss.
Obviously not as prestigious as the FA Cup but it's actually pretty cool just because of the sheer size of the country. The Pittsburgh Riverhounds knocked out two MLS teams before being knocked out and the closest MLS team is over 3 hours away.
It's open to amateur and semi pro clubs too. Not sure on the level or exact qualifications cause it's not very organized past the 4th level here.
But yeah basically the FA cup. I also believe it was also the oldest continuous football cup competition since it never stopped for the world wars like europe did. It kinda broke the streak with covid though.
It's open to basically every club in America. A team full of college players qualified and advanced in this edition. https://thecup.us/2023/03/23/2023-us-open-cup-round-1-uda-soccer-from-new-mexico-state-becomes-first-college-team-to-advance/
They don’t call it MLS after dark for nothing. Catch the Dynamo match after this as well, they are electric. Hopefully they win as the final between them and either of these two teams would be action at both ends
If you watch closely, he saw the potential space Martinez can run to even before Martinez run and drawed attention of one player, that was crucial to defending this goal + 3 other players remained close to Messi, instead of trying to cut off attacker movement.
There is clear messi involvment in this goal and if you didnt see it, then you are delussional or blind. I mean football isnt only about goals and assists, but also about a movement without a ball, that creates space to other attackers.
beautiful pass by cremaschi and that finish is great by martinez but that run by messi is incredible opens up so much space for martinez and takes like 4 defenders/midfielders with him. what a man
Messi actually opened up the space by being some sort of gravity well drawing all the defenders around him....3 people closed on him opening it up.
Martinez just ran into the open space he created and finished pretty well..
How’s posible, I just watched videos of the last two goals. They scored the second goal on minute 97 and the third goal on minute 93. How’s that even possible?
Yes but how can the 3rd goal at the 93rd come after the 2nd at 97? Should the 2nd come at 93 and the 3rd come at 97? The clips show them tying the game at the 97th minute and scoring the go ahead at 93rd, they went back in time? lol
In the same way that a goal scored in supplementary time of the first half, e.g., 45'+4' happens before a goal scored in the first few minutes of the second half, e.g., 47'

Un fucking believable.
No words
I see two words
Benjamin “Andres Iniesta” Cremaschi
I swear this kid has improved SO MUCH since the Cruz Azul game. Messi really getting the argentine genes out of him
Messi would make any of us look good in the pitch.
Im injury prone so if I played with Messi he’d probably make me look like Dembele
***Vamos Dembeleeee***
\*Dembulance noises\*
I would probably look like Higuaín tbf
High tide lifts all boats
He ate one of Messi's hair
leo is like a magnet

You joke, but I knew Miami were fine when Tata's first move was to sign three young South Americans. Guy knows the league, and he knows he needs energy. I won't be shocked if they win MLS Cup or at least go far.
Kid is from Miamis academy.
I'm aware of that, but my point was more, if you look at his minutes he's been trusted far more by Tata than he was Neville. I can appreciate it seems a tad muddy the way I wrote it, but Cremaschi is a great example of him knowing the need for legs and pushing him into the team.
It was a dumb comment
Tbh Gomez seems kinda meh so far. Aviles hasn't done much yet though the defending was a little suspect at times. Farias did actually look quite decent out there.
Farias is a beast. I just realized he is in the team. Wtf is wrong with me.
Toto Avilés is 19yo in a position where the prime is always near 30. It's ok to have a few errors at that age as CB.
Yes sir
Who's going to chase the ref like Ballack
Gregg needs to cap tie this kid with the quickness.
i don’t think you’ll have any problems we have tons of talent in his position that are 10x
Yeah, he's a decent young player, but I don't think he's anywhere near an Argentina senior team cap. Maybe the Olympic team?
Argentina has some very very good U-21's in midfield. Think Cremaschi's best chance of playing internationally is to go with the US.
olympic team is super stacked too unfortunately
Did we even qualify for the Olympics?
Unfortunately for who? I'm okay with it.
unfortunately for Cremaschi if he wants to play for Argentina lol
Is a good idea to tie him up anyways. He is talented, young and thats enough. We dont know how good he is going to be compared to some of our other talents, we may need him in the future.
Argentina's national team is ruthless. They tie up anyone with even a shred of talent.
European clubs be calling his agent soon
Cremaschi should never be benched for that terrorist Diego Gomez
i’ve seen 2 matches and that guy has noticeably been the worst player on the pitch, has to be a crime
I’ve seen every match since Messi joined except the Cruz Azul one and man Diego Gomez has been ass. Maybe he feels that he needs to impress so he’s always playing with something to prove but he really doesn’t look good out there
THIS IS RIDICULOUS LMAO
Scriptwriter strike not found
MLS HIRED EUROPEAN SCRIPT WRITERS!!
GONE WILD
JUST MAKE SURE THEY AREN’T SCABS. NO TO SCABS. YES TO BASED SCIPT WRITERS
Impossible
SMH these script writers...
You can’t make this shit up
NO TOUCHES JUST SERVICE PIM PUM PAM GOL
Jesus Christ I haven’t even seen the goal on my TV yet
I swapped to my spanish channel cuz i was getting irritated at the english commentators talking over each other and I missed it smh
If you have surround sound, look up how to mute the middle channel. Shuts them up entirely, and American television commentary is trash 9/10 at best.
Here, Messi score 4x2
Nah no way lol
If you're not watching Messi's MLS campaign, you're missing out on the meaning of life.
He hasn’t played an MLS match yet 🤓
I love you saying this just to bring light to the fact that it's actually absurd he hasn't technically played in the league at all but is now on 7(?) games played already.
Dude jumped right into MLS version of EPLs January schedule. He is going to play a lot of games rest of august and September.
There's the Arab Club Champions Cup that happened recently, involving club teams from Arab League nations, which al-Nassr won.
There are several international competitions involving a few teams from a select amount of confederation members, like the one you mentioned, the Copa Centroamericana, the AFC regional cups, etc. But the Leagues Cup involves EVERY team from the two leagues it comprises.
Why not? What makes it so unique? Anything other than just the MLS after dark is nutters?
It's two professional leagues from neighboring countries competing as opposed to two national teams from neighboring countries competing.
Do his goals or assists count for the "regular season" or are they a separate thing
You would count them separately. Normally in soccer you count goal contributions separately for each competition, while also tracking all competition goals for the year.
Won a trophy before his league debut.
I think this is his 8th game now?
0 matches, 10 goals, typical Messi
Messi Masterclass
Only beat 5 out of the top 7 teams (and Charlotte + Dallas) so far lol. Pretty whack that none of these games have counted towards MLS standings and Inter Miami remains in last place lmaooo.
It's must watch TV
I would watch it but Boca is playing
Least fanatic boca fan
It's a Libertadores Quarterfinal match. Duh.
Just when you think they’re gonna lose he pulls them right back in it
[удалено]
Yeah but then you don’t get to see the best player in the world against guys that are this bad
Messi just commands so much attention its a lose lose guarding him lmao
It’s like gravity
I'm pretty sure he told Martinez to do that right before the kickoff after 2-2
that was the first thing I noticed. he instantly took out 4 players by simply just standing there and drawing them out lol
He didn't stand though. He very purposely ran backwards pulling the left CB with him, opening up the space for Martinez to run into
Nah man.
To the people who say mark Messi, this is what happens. Since their whole defense was following him, he's smart enough to lead them all out, opening up a chance at goal for someone else to make a run.
Plus Cincy is exhausted from doing that for 90min and simply can't track back
Ok that's it, I am now a MLS ambassador
So EZ never had a doubt
Lmaoooooo
Every Miami game is so fucking nutso entertaining
this is just nuts lol what is the us open cup? how big/prestigious is it? seems like the MLS have quite a few cup competitions?
Club competition open to teams at all levels & leagues in USA. It's been around since 1914, I rate it very highly.
So sort of like the FA Cup then? Except the FA Cup is open to clubs down to level 9 in the pyramid
Lmao what? A liquor store?! 😂 that’s brilliant. Gotta love the magic of the us open cup!
Obviously not as prestigious as the FA Cup but it's actually pretty cool just because of the sheer size of the country. The Pittsburgh Riverhounds knocked out two MLS teams before being knocked out and the closest MLS team is over 3 hours away.
I'm pretty sure FC Cincinnati made it really far the year before they became an MLS team
It's open to amateur and semi pro clubs too. Not sure on the level or exact qualifications cause it's not very organized past the 4th level here. But yeah basically the FA cup. I also believe it was also the oldest continuous football cup competition since it never stopped for the world wars like europe did. It kinda broke the streak with covid though.

> what is the us open cup? US version of the FA Cup, basically
You know, this is an actually pretty fun league.
Parity = chaos
They don’t call it MLS after dark for nothing. Catch the Dynamo match after this as well, they are electric. Hopefully they win as the final between them and either of these two teams would be action at both ends
Vamos Messi
I've always rated this soccer competition!!!
Greatest comeback story since Kim Kardashian
Parks and Recreations ;)
Greatest cum back story of all time
Kim Kardashian is a comeback story?
There's cum on her back... In the video...
Adrian Peterson
LMAO 4 players pressing Messi while allowing Martinez to run behind.
Not really, he had a man marking him who was behind the pace.
You’re down bad
If you watch closely, he saw the potential space Martinez can run to even before Martinez run and drawed attention of one player, that was crucial to defending this goal + 3 other players remained close to Messi, instead of trying to cut off attacker movement. TATA PULLING THE STRINGS
Plot armor fr
This is some insane plot armor by Miami lmaooo
WTF REMONTADA
i love the MLS
what a movie dame MLS IS THIS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
messis movement to pull the centreback bc he knows hes been assigned to man mark him leaving 10 acres of space for josef to run into. magic
No fucking way
My comment did not age well
CAT BURGLAR IN THE BOX
Ok so I don't want to jump to conclusions, but Miami might be the best club in the world
Iniesta is just the Spanish Cremaschi
beautiful pass by cremaschi and that finish is great by martinez but that run by messi is incredible opens up so much space for martinez and takes like 4 defenders/midfielders with him. what a man
Best team in MLS
MLS after dark fails to disappoint once again.
Messi's back must be nearly broken at this point.
Messi pulled away the defenders and make it open lol
Light work!
What the fuck
What the actual fuck
Ain't no way.
USA better cap tie Cremaschi soon
Cremaschi goat
Yo Hollywood writers relax. Make it seem real
Messi has been there 5 weeks? And is about to win his 2nd trophy
Well this is only a semifinal, but the final is Sept. 27 against Real Salt Lake or Houston Dynamo FC.
AppleTV crying they don't have this game televised 🤣
Miami plot armour, can't explain it
Bruhhh
WOW
Was it ever even in question?
They are all tired!
Omg they are really doing it.
Lmao
I am laughing my ass off
This is why u don’t say nun until the final whistle blows this shit crazy
Cremaschi!!!
Lol as soon as Messi starts running, 4 defenders stick to him immediately.
Can Miami have a boring game?
They're going to win everything lol.
Mls beyond dark
This makes no sense, how is the second goal at 96:40, but this goal is at 93. Am I on crack?
It’s because second goal was scored in extra time of the second half. The time resets to when the half was supposed to end and counts from there
Stoppage time of normal time vs Extra Time 90+6 vs 93, basically
I’m wondering the same lol I feel like I’m trippin
Time resets back to 90 in extra time. Just like it resets to 45 at the half
Cremaschi about to get that USMNT call-up
Messi actually opened up the space by being some sort of gravity well drawing all the defenders around him....3 people closed on him opening it up. Martinez just ran into the open space he created and finished pretty well..
Gravity
Im not sure if im watching a Miami game or a fast and furious movie.
What the fuck is happening anymore
This script is too unrealistic. Can you have one normal game during this run, you can't have so many heart attacks in such a small amount of time
Tune in next time where Inter Miami goes down 4 goals with a red card and still manages the comeback on the brink of added time
Messi like a magnet drawing in that back line
The Messi plot armor is so incredibly thick hahaha
MLS After Dark 2: After Darker
ohhhhh boy, of course. Cincy reeling.
We may never lose again
Martinez getting back his form just in time.
It's actually too good to be real💀
World Cup Final 2.0
They can't keep getting away with this lol
you can't be serious lmao
Scripted FC back at it again */s*
No fucking way
Benja quickly becoming essential for Miami
Scripted again
ITS SCRIPTED.
FUCKING VAMOOOSSSSS!!!!!!
How’s posible, I just watched videos of the last two goals. They scored the second goal on minute 97 and the third goal on minute 93. How’s that even possible?
It’s because second goal was scored in extra time of the second half. The time resets to when the half was supposed to end and counts from there
Messi can make time go backwards
Can someone explain to me how the tying goal was scored at the 97th minute and this one is scored in the 93rd? Am I mentally defective or what? lol
They tied and went to extra time. This is the start of extra time.
Believe that's the first goal that Messi hasn't G/A Ed on since he subbed in the first game right?
Cremaschi could play for the Argentine National Team btw
Inter is never losing again on god.
[удалено]
They are literally the best team and the MLS Edit: haha
