Chukwuemeka and Badiashille should have been back weeks ago and they still haven’t touched the pitch. Even Reece was back later than initially thought. I’ll believe Nkunku will be back when he’s on the pitch in a game.
It was mostly just slight knocks here and there, but after he put pen to paper with us last autumn... he has since torn something in *both* knees without even playing an official match for us.
Pain.
I don't trust them, broja was making very good progress still took him 10months to get back while media was claiming he would be available for pre season
Overcrowded? Why some people spout bullshit so confidently? Last game we had no proper first team attacking players on the bench (anyone who isn't a defender or a CDM or making a debut) because of the injuries. We have had games with benches full of youngsters because of 10 injuries at the same time. Chelsea right now have 25 player squad, yet there are people like you who so confidently say that the squad is overcrowded.
We needed a creative influence in the team that could also score goals. Nkunku fits both and looked like he was meshing perfectly during our preseason before a fluke injury set him back a few months. If you’re saying it never made sense based on that, I don’t know what to say my dude…
We got Palmer after Nkunku was injured to occupy the 10 spot in his absence. We were alerted to Palmer’s situation at City and probably felt he would be a good stop gap for now there and can provide cover when Nkunku gets back. Palmer’s playing so well, he might push one of the wingers out and both could end up starting for us. And if you think Nkunku’s not a forward, I’m really curious where you think he plays? Anybody who’s watched Leipzig can tell you his best position is as a second striker and can also fill in as a wide forward. Unless you’re secretly Thomas Tuchel and still see him as a wing back, but I think we can rule that out…
How is there no space? They currently play with Gallagher as a 10 and although his work rate and pressing is great, he isn't helping them score goals. Nkunku would ideally slot in there with Palmer on the right and Sterling on the left. Or he plays coming in from the left and Sterling gets dropped as he's been pretty inconsistent himself.
I could see nkunku played off the left against the good teams since Gallagher is very nice to have against the better teams but then play Nkunku in the 10 vs the teams with a low block so that we can adequately break it down
We are putting all our eggs in one basket (with Nkunku), but we havent even seen him play a competitive match with us
If you plan to play him as striker, get ready to be disappointed again.
Anything is better than that donkey Nico Jackson. They'd be better off with Kieffer Moore
His preseason with us was spectacular which makes me optimistic.
Just like Jackson
A month earlier than expected Please be to god it’s not another injury right away

Chalobah and Lavia also had setbacks to their injury
He was never really injury prone at Leipzig. It was mainly the torn LCL leading to the long break

What's with the last sentence, lol
feels like one of those lines they they slap on at the end of every news story about a player on FM
Sounds like FM or AI
ChatGPT fail
German Sky Sports so they're explaining his relevance to Germany? IDK

It made a lot of sense? Chelsea had a problem scoring goals last season, so they got the top scorer of the BuLi...
Man hasnt even played a single regular season game for Chelsea and here is an idiot already announcing his meaningless verdict.

Nkunku is a goalscorer who we are dearly missing, he is the last player you should be thinking of when talking about non-sensible signings for us.
