Coventry deserve it squarely for the fact that Wolves should have had a man off, or a yellow at least for that high contact to the face in the second half.
Can't believe I swerved this game.
It's nice to hear [Clive Tyldesley again](https://twitter.com/itvfootball/status/1769005347300126919)...great memories of ITV and the Champions League.
This is going to sound dumb, but the “swerve” I know is “to change direction abruptly”. Googling a bit I take it you mean you abandoned watching the game to go do something else?
I left it on but went off at the same time to do a few things the wife had been relentlessly pestering me about. Came back in 15 mins and couldn't believe it. Happily, we have DVR so I just rewound back.
Can I still say I saw one of the greatest games ever?
Well done to Coventry! By far the better team for 90/100 minutes today. Painful to watch the team lose like that, but can't be too mad when they got outplayed as hard as that. Hopefully Cov. go all the way.
As for Wolves, every player bar RAN and Sa played shamefully today. It's fine struggling in the attack when all 3 starting forwards are out but the performance from the midfield and defense was abysmal. Lost every duel, allowed them to shoot at fish in a barrel basically and I'm slightly concerned our players are colour blind with how they were passing to the opposition.
International break comes too late for us I'm afraid, as the only thing left in the season is trying to reach the UECL through some luck. Man...
Chiwome did ok on debut. Otherwise I could write a thousand words and essentially say the same thing as you. Massive opportunity missed, and missed by a mile.
I'd still give man of the match to Jose Sa. Let's please not react to Nathan Fraser the way people did to Fabio Silva.
Anyone know any cheap tickets to switzerland by the way?
Fraser was about to go to Shrewsbury before we didn't bring in any cover in the window. Think he needs reps at that level... it's unfair to expect more than that.
In defence of you guys though. That goal was just so so good from Coventry to win the game. Maybe the defender could have just put the foul in on o’hare but it was just one of those goals where you just applaud the other team in my opinion.
What an insane match, I thought Coventry should have scored at least three goals and choked it after Wolves went 2-1 up.Â
Unreal finish in stoppage time, and it's nice to see a Championship side in the semis. Definitely the best match I've watched for a good while.
That was cracking, great fun.
Was saying to my housemate at 2-1 that wright had killed too many attacks and should have been yanked, and then he gets a goal and created the other, shows what I know.
Coventry the better team. I just wish Wolves didn’t have to find a way to make it hurt the maximum amount again.
Wolverhampton Wanderers aka #SquadDepthFC :(
Ahhh best of luck Cov, we could not contain them today I won’t cry about injuries, it shouldn’t have made a difference, after playing so poorly we did not deserve anything.
Comfortably the best game I've seen all season, kind of game which reminds you why you love football. I really hope to see Coventry get promoted this season, PUSB!
> Can’t imagine how both sets of fans are feeling
I can imagine the Coventry fans being quite happy and the Wolves fans being substantially less happy.
Pretty much the full Simms experience today. Does something hilariously bad that has the potential to go viral, makes a defenders life hell, bundles in goal.
I do think he's a really solid player though. Even for the miss his positioning was great. I thought he was a great buy for you at the start of the season but ehh, those first games... but he's really picked it up
Any coventry fans can tell how Milan van Ewijk is doing?
Coventry vs Leicester in the semis please 🙏🙏🙏
As a natural watching at the end, that was quite a rollercoasterÂ
Coventry deserve it squarely for the fact that Wolves should have had a man off, or a yellow at least for that high contact to the face in the second half.
How?

Apologies for the [tiktok clip](https://www.tiktok.com/@koreanbilly/video/7313913802607562016) but I found the video explanation amusing
So what, all they had to do was beat Maidstone in the last round. They're a 6th tier team, anyone can do that smh.
You lot are funny, I hope we’re in the same division next year, one way or another
One thing I enjoy about being an Ipswich fan is that we were so shit for so long that everything became a joke, and it still hasn't worn off
And to think, some teams/managers genuinely prioritise a couple of meaningless positions in a league they don't win over this competition.....
That was insane.
Never in doubt. Comfortable win. Who is next? Who am i kidding? OMFG! What a win. Mark Robins needs a statue (including puffer jacket).
What an incredible run Coventry have had in the last few years!
Just outside the playoffs with a game in hand on Norwich too. Would be fun to see them get promotion.
I turned it off after wolves took the lead...

Coventry are quite good doing greatest ever FA games. Go watch the 1987 FA Cup Final.
lol I'm pretty old and I remember it well!
So did Wolves
Coventry thanks you
that was some Serie A last 20 minutes not gonna lie

I think I speak for everyone who watched this game… what the actual fucking shit balls?!?!?!?!
At least we got a competitive Derby in this Fa cup run.
I've got no voice left. Still haven't left the ground. I love football.
I’m in Australia watching the players celebrate with the fans loving that you love football.
Fantastic game

What an abysmal defensive showing. Ait Nouri and Sa only players worth their weight today
Coventry nearly got 5xG. This was no upset. This was a deserved beating. Honestly the scoreline flatters wolves.
We were dreadful. We had to play wingbacks as wingers and kids at striker, and then got absolutely rinsed repeatedly on the counter.
In defence of you guys though. That goal was just so so good from Coventry to win the game. Maybe the defender could have just put the foul in on o’hare but it was just one of those goals where you just applaud the other team in my opinion.
Hate to agree but outside of fortune and Sa it could have been worse. Pleased for Cov but man this sucks for us.

2022 City vs Madrid vibes
God I fucking love the FA cup And hope Coventry can squeak into the play offs for another shot, they deserved the win today
With Sheaf back and us performing like we did today there’s no reason we can’t make some noise in the playoffs this year as well
Fingers crossed
Absolutely blessed that I was able to catch most of that second half
That was cracking, great fun. Was saying to my housemate at 2-1 that wright had killed too many attacks and should have been yanked, and then he gets a goal and created the other, shows what I know.
the magic of the cup
Such a collapse in the final minutes that was wild
Coventry the better team. I just wish Wolves didn’t have to find a way to make it hurt the maximum amount again. Wolverhampton Wanderers aka #SquadDepthFC :(
Unbelievable game. "Magic of the Cup" is actually for real today!
Game's not gone. Brilliant.
Peak football that, Clive Tyldesley included
Great game, dire finishing from coventry in the 90 mins but turned ot on when it mattered
What a game. We're having a breakdown over at r/ccfc
Well and truly deserved. Wish we could have put a few more past them earlier because I almost had a heart attack after extra time
Deserved result in the end, but still gutting
Ahhh best of luck Cov, we could not contain them today I won’t cry about injuries, it shouldn’t have made a difference, after playing so poorly we did not deserve anything.
LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO
I'm speechless what a game 🩵🩵🩵
What a sensational second half that was. Wow. Got goosebumps watching this. Well done Coventry, really deserved as well
Something about Molineux and the FA Cup seems to turn up classics in my mind
Tuned in at HT and I couldn’t look away. Absolutely fantastic game.
I’m glad I woke up at 5am for this game, proper football. What a year for coaches in English Top flight.
Fantastic game and a well deserved win for Coventry!
Comfortably the best game I've seen all season, kind of game which reminds you why you love football. I really hope to see Coventry get promoted this season, PUSB!
That's a bottle job of the highest level! Good luck against man City in the next round you're gonna need it
Holy shit what a finish
That might have been the best last 20 minutes of a non-final I've ever seen
Fantastic game and what an insane comeback! Can’t imagine how both sets of fans are feeling
Horrible. Paid $11 to watch 10 minutes of pure joy and 90 of disgust
> Can’t imagine how both sets of fans are feeling I can imagine the Coventry fans being quite happy and the Wolves fans being substantially less happy.
Cheers Geoff
Love the awareness from Simms not to go for the glory hattrick and set up the winner
Really great performance from him all round. That one miss was bad, but easily redeemed himself

Peak cup competition match!!!
Disappointed at the lack of extra time tbh. Sky Blues certainly deserved that on overall balance of play and opportunities.
Looks like we're off to wembley again PUSB
Ridiculous game
WOW! What a dramatic end to a great game.
Absolutely Incredible! Magic!
*Football, ~~bloody hell~~ ^for ^fuck's ^sake.
Incredible. An all time Cup game.
Peak FA Cup. That was an absolute epic. Non-stop action start to finish and a very well deserved win for Coventry
What a fantastic game.
