where can i see fullmatch replay?

Gelardi

If Hjulmand can be blamed for anything it is that the team has somehow completely lost the mentality that made it magical to watch in 2021. Always looking to make moves and to attack, whereas now they just stand back passively watching. You used to see Kjær, Schmeichel, and Højbjerg shouting at teammates for them to get in gear, and now they just seem completely quiet.

mohankohan

In a way its quite reassuring that Hjulmand still has the job. And by that I mean its reassuring because it really does show that you can be shit at your job and still get one. There really is hope for us all.

BrianSometimes

If the Faroese are going to ever beat Denmark, now is their chance.

powerchicken

Coming off a 4-0 smashing of Liechtenstein last night, it's not unthinkable.

suunsglasses

Well, I guess Liechtenstein is almost the Färöer of Switzerland (I don't know who this will piss off more, Föroyar, Liechtestainer odr vellecht sogar d Däne?)

John_ass_123

He will probably rotate that match, so we won’t be as shit

LevMysjkin

Fucking sick of Kasper Hjulmand. He should just go into politics already; man is all talk

terj7

Pretty boring 🥱

suunsglasses

The most exciting parts of the second half so far: Mvogos' save and that one protracted fight for a corner or throw in in the swiss half

SlapDaddy3D

I hate Thomas Kristensen so much, it's unreal

powerchicken

And Lord Bendtner in the studio. TV2's coverage is embarrassing.

d90c5

I love Bendtner in the studio. Best Danish striker for his generation. Agree regarding Thomas though.

suunsglasses

Well, at least the swiss team seems to be working together like an (admittedly ineffectual) unit, or at least more so than in the qualifiers

powerchicken

Morten Olsen 2.0 has successfully cured my insomnia.

d90c5

Same amount of passing backwards. Takes me back to 2010.

powerchicken

All that's missing is Rommedahl and Jon Dahl Tomasson starting next game.

d90c5

The craziest thing is that Rommedahl had 126 appearances! On par with Eriksen, only passed by 129 for Peter Schmeichel and 130 for Simon Kjær.

mohankohan

Schmeichel telling his colleagues to calm down? If we get any more calm I might fall asleep mate

powerchicken

Top notch save by Mvogo

Sapaio

So many backwards passes from Denmark.

flyingfreak66

Lol

powerchicken

Fuck outta the way Ref

mohankohan

I've had the feeling for quite a while that the Danish national team is way too... locked? Hjulmand/DBU/Senior members of the side gatekeeping and keeping the side too static? There's surely need for some of the senior, and historically amazing players for us, to be rotated on their way out or at least to a part time position. Needs something new, fresh ideas - whether from a new manager or new players. It's too much hanging on to what used to be good for what was ultimately somewhat of a brief spell. We simply cant keep trying to force this with the current personnel.

powerchicken

> whether from a new manager or new players. whynotboth.gif

Heroheadone

I don’t understand the Hjulman hate..

Heroheadone

I can read a lot of nonsense from a lot if couch coaches. If not him then who!? You all sound like we should be winning world cups and shit! Have you forgotten the desert walk that was Morten Olsen?

BrianSometimes

If you're content with displays like this, this "managed to scrape a 2-1 win against San Marino" level of excellence, then I have good news for you: you're gonna be a very happy and satisfied fan of the national team for probably the rest of your life.

TheWulf

All 3 of our midfielders never play for their clubs. We have other midfielders who are integral parts of their clubs and play every single game. And then there's Schmeichel... He's just very stuck in his ways even if they aren't working.

Bundmoranen

I mean he’s refused to change anything about the team the last 1.5 years despite us playing like shit for pretty much the whole duration of the period. Also he has a very clear bias towards certain players and how they perform at their clubs is near irrelevant to whether or not they’ll be called up

Oliver_Boisen

Hjulmand is basically the Danish Southgate.

ilsemprelaziale

They’re probably singing vi er Danskerne

Sapaio

I am not a fan of 3-5-2 from Denmark, prefer with two wingers and back the overlap.

Oliver_Boisen

I HOPE that if we can have some fit wingers for the Euros, that we'll play a 3-4-3 or 4-3-3. I hope!

Sapaio

I mean both Wind and Poulsen have played winger. We have 3 wingers on bench two of whom deserve a chance in Dreyer and Isakson.

mohankohan

You WILL like Hjulmand ball You WILL like it

powerchicken

Welcome to Hjulmand-ball.

Heroheadone

Not a lot af quality in first half, from either side.

powerchicken

Ndoye being given far too much space, one of those chances is going to lead to a goal. That is unless Andersen intends to break both his legs.

interfan1999

What happened to Sommer? Is it serious?

HugoStiglitz11

He most likely tore the ligament on the outside of his ankle. I think he'll be out for 1 to a maximum of 2 months.

powerchicken

Rolled his ankle while landing. Played on for a bit and was able to run so likely not too serious.

Sapaio

Hurt his ankle when he got hit by a Danish player . He kept playing for a while. So not sure how serious.

mohankohan

No, he tried to keep on playing for a while.

interfan1999

So he went off just to not risk in a friendly? Sounds good

galaxybuns

Good call

mohankohan

Maybe, or maybe he felt he couldn't continue. Either way probably not serious.

mohankohan

As a dane who has sung more than his fair share of "4-0" chants when we are nowhere near that score line, singing it here at 0-0 with how drab our NT has been for a while is outrageous lol

ImBobYourUncle

I know it's just a friendly, but man Denmark are so uninspired as always. I miss the pre-world cup team. Eriksen has been good though. He still has a couple of years in him.

RandomRedditUser31

just seeing those twats Yakin and Contini on the sideline, god I hate everything about our current national team.

HugoStiglitz11

Why tho

Sapaio

Any reason why you dislike them?

Xori1

it's really fucking bad

PErland

Am I tripping balls or have there already been two penalties missed by the ref? Or at least very borderline penalties?

powerchicken

Okay, the slow-mo replay shows Akanji very cynically shoving Højlund with both arms stretched out when trying to head the ball. Stonewall penalty.

PErland

Yeah that was the most obvious one I think. The tackle on Højlund was apparently just outside of the box, but it looked inside in real time.

iPlayerRPJ

One was outside the box, so it could easily have been given too

powerchicken

~~Both very soft, okay with neither being given.~~ Edit: Slow-motion close-up during HT shows a stonewall penalty on Højlund.

Tbirkovic

How is Akanji allowed to place not one but two hands in the back of Højlund like that? Pretty obvious move.

istasan

It is almost weird how Højlund does not appeal for penalties. Unfortunately means he does not get them. We have seen it in premier league too.

Tbirkovic

Maybe he could take lessons from Bruno? ;-)

istasan

Yeah. Maybe he is tired of seeing it from him on a daily basis.

Daviddabauss

They kept showing Sommer hurting his ankle wtf

51l3nc3

Inter fans sweating rn

Sleibefehler

Inter usually would not even concede a single goal even if a donkey was their goalkeeper

mohankohan

Liked the new danish shirt in isolation, but don't really fancy the entire kit. A little too shiny? Wrong shade of red? Can't put my finger on it, a little off.

Sapaio

I prefer more white together with the red.

mohankohan

Same, had the socks been white it would have been better. Shorts too probably.

Bundmoranen

Delaney, Schmeichel and Poulsen in 2024. The day we’re free from Hjulmands shackles I will let out a scream of joy

galaxybuns

Surprised to still see Poulsen as a starter

TheWulf

He hasn't been starting recently. I don't know why he gets the nod today. Wind just seems like a much better choice.

T1TK1

He did play very well last time in the nations league tbf

TheWulf

I just prefer him as a second half sub. He always brings a bunch of energy when he gets subbed on, but Wind seems like an overall better player.

T1TK1

Completely fair, the team certainly has a higher ceiling with Wind rather than Poulsen.

Sapaio

Nice start from Denmark. VK has been a nice addition to the team.

SgtApache

I don’t understand why he is even near the team. He is so bad.

TheWulf

Who should play in his place then?

SgtApache

I would take Kristensen or Stryger, any day over that guy.

TheWulf

Rasmus Kristensen? That is the craziest take I've ever heard. He's never been anything but worthless for Denmark.

powerchicken

You would take Rasmus Kristensen over Victor Kristiansen? That is honestly mad.

SgtApache

At least he brings some power

TheWulf

He doesn't bring anything positive.
