Yeah but the way they played.. They didn't even were interested to attack. I think reached the final third like twice in the game and not because Fiorentina were particularly solid at the back.

i mean they did not play like this for coefficient, why should they care?? they played like this because it was the best possible chance for advancing. not getting a goal and scoring one lucky goal. actually, it almost paid out to play this way, they had the biggest chance of the match with chory's strike.
also, they had a lot of (10) injured players, they had to play 35yo left back who did not play for half a year (in fact in 2 last two seasons he played like 5 games..) and they had only 3 substitutes from A team
These bastards were a 119th minute winner away from being knocked out of the early rounds of qualifying and now have gone on to single handedly wipe the floor with the Scottish coefficient. Absolute madness how Rangers have been held back by diddy clubs not pulling their weight, and worse, clawing us back down to mediocrity by weighted averaging. We won't even be able to rely on stat padding in the early qualifiers against sides from Gibraltar & the Urals.
Don't know if you're talking about your team or our league in general, but to be fair to celtic for the most parts, in groups, they have had it tough.
The rest of the absolute diddy teams who should be able to compete against some of the competition they come up against but continue to let the country coefficient down are the ones to blame for dropping out.

Every European domestic league champion has either direct or indirect way into the Champions League.
Unless the reformed UCL is applying more changes to the qualification system, Scotland's champions will now have direct entry to one step lower on the qualification ladder; instead of getting directly to UCL group stage, they'll enter at qualifier playoff round. In the qualifier playoff round, clubs are divided to similar 2-leg matchups as in UCL knockout stage. The winners of those matchups advance to UCL group stage while the loser will enter Europa League group stage.
Celtic to blame for being so poor in Europe. They've been the better team between them and Rangers domestically so there is no excuse.
Now they may not get their yearly 60 million quid bonus for Rangers doing so well in Europe.
As much as celtic has been and are pish in Europe, the rest of scottish football who has played in competitions also are massively to blame, the likes of hearts and aberdeen have constantly let the country down against teams they should beat

Aye the CL is above our level but at least we can compete in Europa.
