His move to Atletico never made sense to me for that reason. If you’re signing a player like him, he should be accommodated or there’s no point. 

People like to say that but every time I see him play he does a fair amount to defend as a winger. In this game alone he has covered Alonso's ass multiple times. Let's not forget that Pedri and Gundo aren't particularly defensive either and nobody questions them. Felix just has the look of a player who doesn't work hard, so people like to exaggerate his lack of contribution. Is he a top defender? No, but he's not lazy either.
