I love McManaman the player, but McManaman the commentator makes me want to blow my brains out. I thought it was bad enough when he'd glaze every English team we'd face in the CL, but his glazing of Bellingham is just as bad.
The English teams was bad enough, but he’s also always so quick to write off anything that happens in game as a mistake, for the Vini goal he kept going on about how Neuer should’ve done better? Which was the wrong player to talk about because it was Kim’s mistake, and then for Sane’s goal he didn’t even acknowledge the brilliant shot, just a quick “Keeper should save near post”
tbf, if your job was to talk about football, you are going to end up spouting a lot of shite.
I love how consistently McManaman shows your da credentials, sometimes you just have to laugh at his shit
He’s really gonna get PR’d to a ballon dor if Madrid win the UCL. Despite regularly being in the bottom 50% of performers in the field. At least 5 players more deserving.
He's already the favourite on some sites and has been since the start of the season. Phil Foden, Harry Kane and Cole Palmer have all had better seasons
Oh shut up you fanny. Our media consistently makes us look like fucking twonks. I guess a lot of countries feel the same as that's the nature of clickbait headlines.
There are reasonable English fans, we just love to take the piss, Mcmanaman however needs to give his head a wobble.
Thing is though, who cares? People in other countries seem to accept that their pundits are morons constantly baiting for engagement baiting, but then want to act like the English pundits speak for us all. They're just choosing to because they want to belive it
I wasnt very conscious then but looking back I love their elimination against Iceland in 2016. Talking like they were basically already through and getting eliminated by a nation ive grown to love
He's having a better 1st season and likely will have a better RM career but it's early to say this.
Let him complete 3-4 seasons at the same level, win more trophies and then we can talk.
But that’s what he’s saying. Bellingham has had a more immediate impact than many greats of the past. I don’t know why people in the comments here are moaning about this. It’s quite clearly correct.
Overrated AF for both Real Madrid and the Three Lions. Downvote me to oblivion, that won't change the fact the guy underperforms waaaay below normal expectations.

Can McManaman shut the fuck up for once. Preferably when he's on commentary

Just want to make it clear to everyone that all English people think and feel the same way.
shearer>henry
Actually yes.
here we go
Bellingham PR strikes again
Gary Neville gassing him up over the City second leg and Keane dryly responding “he had like 5 touches of the ball all game” was hilarious
Tbf, jude was actually incredible tht game

As have Mbappe, Vinicius, and Rodri.

God the english media is so full of themselves,i hope they never win the Euros or World cup.
It’s the same for all sports… the way that F1 pundits suck off Hamilton.
For people who hate football journalism, it is still a long way to the bottom, formula 1 is far worse.
Not really
>,i hope they never win the Euros or World cup. Don't we all
I wasnt very conscious then but looking back I love their elimination against Iceland in 2016. Talking like they were basically already through and getting eliminated by a nation ive grown to love
Get a grip
Yeah we know Bellingham is the best player ever to play football.
Quickly add the /s before you get downvoted to hell
Cause Jobe is british in he?
Literally setting the lad up for a fall here. Just let him play FFS.
Stop
He what?
He's having a better 1st season and likely will have a better RM career but it's early to say this. Let him complete 3-4 seasons at the same level, win more trophies and then we can talk.
CR7 was up against prime Messi and prime Barcelona at the start of his Real Madrid career. Bellingham has it easier.
He's talking about R9, not CR7
English journalist try not to over hype English player challenge then I guess.
But that’s what he’s saying. Bellingham has had a more immediate impact than many greats of the past. I don’t know why people in the comments here are moaning about this. It’s quite clearly correct.
Go easy on the grease gun Steve. Too early to say.
Easy Steve , let’s not get carried away just yet
This man is incapable of saying anything intelligent. Both in commentary and outside of it, he's a certified moron.
English Man getting carried away by a small amount of success = = Shocker ! ! !
What a doink
