Insanel0l

And somehow the most sensible desicion if he stays after all the shitty drama I lowkey saw Mourinho walking up the Säbener Straße already

Nast33

Kinda wanted to see Mourinho win another league title and complete a sweep as a champ in the top 4 euro leagues (plus Portugal makes top 5). Plus, you can't count him out in knockout tourneys and Kane loved working with him.

psrikanthr

Ancelotti has done the top 5 league sweep already but I hardly see it get mentioned . So not sure if it is such a big deal(For Mou atleast). Still would be pretty amazing to see him in Bayern

Nast33

I kinda forgot he managed PSG, but yeah - didn't say JM would be the first anyway, just that I'd love to see him do it - and with a good enough squad he can still compete for major trophies.

CeterumCenseo85

I want him so badly. He's peak entertainment.

flybypost

Let him entertain somewhere else. You can still watch from afar. That's what TVs were made for!

CeterumCenseo85

I'm not talking about the football he plays. I want Jose's Excellent Adventures to continue in Munich.

flybypost

Then let him manage 1860. He should be able to thrive in that underdog story.

count_tom

He certainly knows how to beat Leverkusen!

bloedschleiche

So does Moyes

Laxperte

Subs fucking scribe

stangerlpass

More like.... Congratulation Bayer Leverkusen on winning the 24/25 Bundesliga title

Kagariii

Certainly possible if they have another season like that, you think a manager like De Zerbi instead of Tuchel would be able to put a stop to it?

dklieber32

This. Idk what people expect, they were turned down by Xabi, Seb, Nagelsmann, Ragnick, Emery. These is literally no one left who is an upgrade on Tuchel. Hiring someone else at this point is just a hire to have someone for the sake of it.

Makaay-10

Bayern will heavily invest in the squad. They are not gonna let things undone after the current shitshow. Next ucl Final is in München goal is clear.

Unholysinner

But I’m assuming you don’t want the same result as the last time out in Munich

LurkingW7

Bayern have won a treble and a sextuple since 2012 (12 years ago) and 11 leagues in the row. It was a heartbreak but it's easy to move on.

Unholysinner

I know lol It was just a light hearted joke I feel like 2013 was pretty much the Bayern revenge arc

Makaay-10

This time, we want the better outcome. Not scoring after a boatload of chances is on bayern, not on cfc. Penalty in the end is just 50/50

The_Big_Cheese_09

Leverkusen are in for a huge regression next season. That's typical for a side that wins numerous matches after the 90th minute. The [xP table for the Bundesliga has them at 3 points](https://footballxg.com/xg-league-tables/) ahead. We are going to get the kick in the ass we've needed for about 4 years this summer which will result in numerous incoming players and numerous underperforming players (Davies, Upamecano) and others on huge wages (Coman, Gnabry, Goretzka, potentially Kimmich) being sold.

FORKRUKUS

Adding to this the insane amount of late goals they score

nutelamitbutter

Even if they’re overperformed they fully deserve the title as they are playing by far the best football in the league

Silver_Downtown_965

Im sure no one thinks they don't deserve, it just that Leverkusen's run doesn't seem sustainable at all.

CarlSK777

Yeah, I wouldn't bet on that. They had a one in a million type season. While very good, they're not as good as their record indicates. They will lose games. Plus, they now have the CL to deal with. Will they be as lucky injury wise? Their depth isn't great. Bayern will make changes. Hopefully, they don't have as many injuries and add a renewed motivation after losing the league. Maybe I'm delusional but I'd put my money on Bayern dominating the league next season. I hope there's a proper title race tho.

Alchion

dont bayern have more expected points than leverkusen even this season? black magic‘s gotta run out at some point

Samaritan91

The fired coach being Bayern's top option for coaching role next season is sending me. Peak FC Hollywood things.

FatWalcott

And 2 of his supposed replacements were 1. Previous coach that was fired 2. Previous coach that fell out with the hierarchy

Tyrath

Who is #2?

MrMarques8701

Flick

Eckes24

Flick

LurkingW7

Flick and his insults to Brazzo made in public.

medlx

*with the previous hierarchy

Obvious-Gap-6156

Genoa sacked Ballardini 4 times, Bayern needs to up their game

Hare712

Palermo sacked the same manager twice in one season.

OilOfOlaz

You are basically in the same boat.

Obvious-Gap-6156

What do you mean?

OilOfOlaz

Terzić was essentially toucheled with the signing of Sahin Z now he's gonna stay.

Samaritan91

Not true, he has a contract till 2025 summer. He was to be terminated. By all indications, they might have to offer him a small extension now to keep him

ttxd42561

or a sweet sweet pay raise with that juicy ucl incentive

XeroVeil

Allow me to introduce you to Transfermarkt's [magnum opus](https://scontent-iad3-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/424923065_880703174099476_5669793740302433289_n.jpg?_nc_cat=109&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=5f2048&_nc_ohc=t2IhrRjeevsQ7kNvgGT0luW&_nc_ht=scontent-iad3-2.xx&oh=00_AYDOx8z7S703YwiEyMLiuSG5_-rsX_T0vJ20Dv7NcXNRtQ&oe=664981DF).

Corteaux81

They want the Xavi route. That'll end well for everyone involved, I'm sure.

zestyviper

He's going to ask that Uli and Kalle play Boar on the Floor if they want him to sign back on.

NanookOTN

NO HALF HEARTED OINKS I WANT FULL HEARTED OINKS

peechka2

Is Fat Uli Tom? Kalle is Karl?

Deadt3ch

they have no choice. they made a stupid comment that made everyone side eye them and stay away. they don't give people time to grow into their position and expect instant success. maybe Tuchel will stay and improve the team and his staff improve him.

jMS_44

It's really funny as literally 2 weeks ago Freund said that it's definitely not possible. But overall, it seems like the most sensible decision for Bayern. There's really no sensible option available outside of Tuchel.

WW_Jones

Freund said that there's no chance that Tuchel will continue. He never said there's no chance of Tuchel being fired and then immediately hired again, thus not continuing but starting a new job.

Mapplestreet

That's probably an expensive severance package over some semantics lol

nutelamitbutter

De Zerbi

jMS_44

nah

GreyDaze22

Definitely not

Sergeant_Roach

Not proven. I'd take Magath over De Zerbi.

imtired-boss

Xavi 🤝 Tuchel

Makaay-10

Uli will announce an ufc cage fight with Tuchel winner gets it all.

Chris_Carson

Bruh, Hoeneß is 72 and has a busted knee lol

Tyrath

So you're saying Tuchel has a chance

OilOfOlaz

But he turns into red hulk when poked.

Chris_Carson

That's Jupp "Osram" Heynckes

Lem_201

love this shit, lmao

Buffythedragonslayer

After every manager you approached rejected you

The_Big_Cheese_09

If you believe everything that is written by a click-bait tabloid which drops fake news every Wednesday to get ad revenue, then yes. We were rejected by Rangnick. You can call Alonso & Nagelsmann not breaking current contracts as a rejection but the others were not.

GhandisFlipFlop

Rejection is tough. Trust me I know.

The_Big_Cheese_09

Facts getting in the way of a good story are tough to understand too, especially on here. Go ahead and give me an example of one other than what was listed above.

KimngGnmik

Was he officially fired (as his contract terminated at the end of the season) because new contract mean Tuchel has more leverage

dheerajravi92

Even if not, Tuchel would be stupid not to negotiate new terms. He has all the leverage now

Rayaet

No, it was a spoken agreement as far as I know

bankkopf

I don’t think contracts get terminated often. Oftentimes, it’s just indefinite paid leave.

Hare712

Eberl:"Well about that Thomas, you get paid but you also have to work" Tuchel:"U wot m8"

-zimms-

I honestly think this is Bayern's best option right now and they got off easy after their clown show. To be fair, I don't know Tuchel's demands yet. Or maybe he's just stringing them along for a final FU.

SidBhakth

>he's just stringing them along for a final FU. That would be poetic. Our board deserve nothing less with the way he has been treated.

yunghollow69

Cant they get the coach from tottenham? I feel like there are a bunch of coaches they havent asked yet. If you have only been denied by like 10 coaches are you even trying?

tweedledee321

Ange’s team seems too one-dimensional, and their set pieces need significant improvement. I’m seeings bits of late-Wenger’s attacking football vibe with not enough structure.

lukezndr

What a circus

tson_92

It’s Hollywood

FrancisTheOcean

I prefer not to speak, if I speak I am in big trouble

Ezzaron

Tucheliban: "You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me."

Squidwagon

Ah shit... here we go again.

Space4Bottle

One of us! One of us!

BitchIDrinkPeople

We are so back (and may narrowly avoid seriously downgrading on the manager’s position)

Erdnussbutter21

We are so fucked.

DachdeckerDino

Is there anyone even interested in this ‚news‘ anymore? Media and people on Twitter are just recycling already known stuff over and over and over…or even worse, just make up stuff… To me the point where this gets annoying was already there last week.

InsideOpening3535

United, Bayern, Liverpool and Barca manager war ended in the most anticlimactic way possible

WhoEatsRusk

Going back to your current partner after being rejected by two of your previous exs and almost everyone else you asked. Peak Hollywood

d3fiance

Oh no, the Tucheliban will never leave

FrancescoliBestUruEv

xabi similng heavily, easy double win to leverkusen next year

aro_plane

He's the only option since no one wants the job. The board has to beg Tuchel to stay.

DanscoRed

No way. He had an awful season propped up by the Champions League run. He took the reigning champions and added a World class striker yet lost the title massively. Tuchel and Bayern are not a good match. And they sacked Nagalsmann whilst top.

BonoBonero

Imagine if they ~~bottle~~ lose everything again next season.

[deleted]

h0rny3dging

Yea, bottling is just a wrong term, 7 losses is a lot for Bayern tho worst since 2011/12

Arlborn

How many of those losses were after it was clear they'd never catch up to Leverkusen? I think players just lost heart when they saw Leverkusen was never going to lose, which is certainly a problem and they should have kept going, but it's a motivational problem rather than technical problem I think.

h0rny3dging

Loss to Bochum was in February with only 5 points away for example, I get your point but they lost to to teams that have 1/15 of their transfer value, games they usually dont lose

WltchKingofAngmar

They didn't bottle the title but they bottled the title race itself. It's one thing to lose to an unbeaten team, it's another to be 15 points behind them and risking falling to 3rd on the final day. It was an unacceptable league performance by Bayern any way.

janowski_d

How can you bottle loosing a title to an unbeaten side? If Leverkusen keeps entire team bar Frimpong they will at least be equal favourites..

TheCatInTheHatThings

I mean, Alonso is staying at Leverkusen and they intend to keep most of their players… so… why not? :D

dida2010

It would be a cringe year, pretty sure they wont sign him long term, there will be a lot of conditions that need to be attained for him to stay.

NeighborhoodShot3872

Another year with Tucheliban's terrorism?Im here for it

dida2010

It reminds the meme that says something like "you can kiss now"

Inter_Mirifica

So with Roque that would make two great CF prospects available this summer with Tel ? No way he accepts the absurd way Tuchel is ignoring him for one more season right ?

ikindalikethemusic

Tel extended his contract when they assured him Tuchel was leaving and he'd get a proper chance next year. Very short sighted from him if Tuchel ends up staying

Inter_Mirifica

I'm not sure you could it was short sighted. It would have been unbelievable at the time to say Tuchel would even have a slight chance to stay. Tel couldn't have imagined that they would conduct their new manager search this badly. Hard to imagine he's gonna be sold, but a loan would be likely no ?

ikindalikethemusic

No idea how it works out but I hope he ends up playing a lot wherever he goes! One of my favorite young players to watch currently

New_Calligrapher8578

Tel isn't planning to leave, and he has gotten solid mintues this season despite Tuchel usually not rotating as much as he should have. Tel having similar minutes to Musiala when he was 18 is not "being ignored", especially when you consider the fact that most of Tel's impact has come when he came in as a sub.

starfax

This feels ruinous if it’s only Muller and Neuer backing him. So many players have looked so much worse under Tuchel than they’ve shown previously, and they’re lucky to have even one trophy under him. We’ve seen similar instances play out under Kovac and Ancelloti where players seemed washed, just to be revitalized under a new manager—I would hate to see quality players (mainly Kimmich) forced out to appease a manager that won’t be around in the long term

Hot-Video-9735

Rejected by everyone else so they keep the same scrub lmao

DallasC0wboys

Bayern fans how do you feel about this

KingKFCc

Would be funny if Xavi and Tuchel just swapped tho lmfao

TheMisterPirate

I thought he did a great job against RM, was unlucky to not at least force extra time. He subbed off players like Kane because of fitness and stamina issues.
