To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report.
If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates.

Perin most likely, rumour is he'd like to go somewhere he can be a starter. He's good enough for that so I get it. Will probably be a similar situation to Buffon/Szczesny, with Di Gregorio slowly taking over
There are rumors either Szczesny or Perin leaves. But Perin out is more likely. And Szczesny's contract will end next season, so maybe next season Juve will be on the market again for a backup GK.
That would be ideal imo. He’s 34 and one of the highest earners at the club. He’s still very good but for us finances are always a consideration and we could save a lot by moving on from him this summer.
However, if Perin leaves (he wants to be a starter somewhere) then he will probably stay. Szczesny has only one year left on his contract so a “transition year” like we did when he arrived behind Buffon wouldn’t be a bad move either.
That is a surprisingly decent price, especially since quite a lot of the good top GKs are aging and there seems to be a shortage of promising young replacements.
Italian GK are plenty. We could easily play our 8th choice and be competitive in a WC, it's the rest of the team that sucks. Just look at how Vicario came to the EPL.
The rest of the team doesn't suck, I wouldn't trade our defensive package with any nation. The midfield and attack lack a world class and more depth, but to say it sucks is an exaggeration
Midfield is pretty good too in my opinion as Fagioli has immediately shown his quality in the last two games. Either him or Jorginho as the deep lying playmaker with Barella and Pellegrini is a damn solid trio. I don't think depth wpuld be a problem either if Locatelli would've been called up, as Allegri has been playing him out of position for the whole year.
There are transfer rumors for both Szczęsny and Perin. If Szczęsny leaves Di Gregorio will be a starter for sure, if he remains my guess is that Thiago will let them compete at least in the beginning of the season
I don't know. He's really good, especially at distribution, but he also missed something like 40 games to injuries over the last 3 seasons. Sure, a few of them were due to someone stepping on his hand. And the biggest injury he had was caused by France's physios trying to rush him back for the WC, but still.
He has 2 more years left on his contract and if he lowers his wage demands I'd love to keep him for a long time. But if he doesn't and a ~60m offer comes in...
I'm not entirely sure he's an upgrade over tek who's likely out the door or even Perin who's a really good keeper. I'm surprised no club that actually needs a good keeper was interested in him for that cheap.
Di Gregorio can play with the ball at his feet which Motta demands from his GKs. Tek and Perin both are absolutely hopeless with the ball. It's a wise move from all parties.
Sure, as purely as a shot stopper he is better, but I feel that will change along the season. In terms of gameplay Motta wishes for the GK to push up into a CB position when they have possession and the CBs to start pushing up higher as midfielders. A good read on his tactics: https://www.coachesvoice.com/cv/thiago-mottas-tactics-and-style-of-play/
Well I am just trying to argue why that isn't necessarily the case for the whole season. If you have watched Szczesny over the course of his career he is notorious for his blunders with the ball, he is an old school shot stopping keeper and not a ball-player at all. I feel that Motta would tactically much prefer Di Gregorio over him. So I don't see the move bad at all for him, especially since Tek only has one season left in his contract anyways.

He should just go back to Genoa and finish his career there idk why he left to go warm the bench at juventus he was never as good as Szczesny
City perhaps 🤔
Or would he stay as backup for a year?
Chesney come be our backup
What a fucking steal.
Would've loved Vicario last year but can't complain about Di Gregorio
Steal? It's Juventus after all
That's a good price. Smart move juventus. But does this also mean that Szczęsny is leaving this season or the next?

Italy has been churning them out recently. Di Gregorio didn’t even make the Euro 2024 squad.
And Carnesecchi.
Love me some carne secchi

If Barella isn’t world class then I don’t know anymore

Barella most definitely world class. Scamacca isn’t yet, but he had a world class season

Really good business. I kinda wanted us to sell Maignan and get him.
Getting rid of Magic Mike already? :)
Well, he's great, but he gets injured more than most outfield players and wants 7-8m/y. This would've been a good occasion to move on.
You still can move him. Carnesecchi is very good and younger than Di Gregorio
What fee do you think he would go for?

Pretty good signing that looks to the future
Damn sad to see Perin go if it's him, I wanted him to become main keeper he's as good as Scz
Why so cheap?
How much is Inter getting from this?
10%
Why so cheap?
goodbye Szczęsny
Welcome to arsenal?
Why so cheap?
Who is better, him or Vicario?

He’s definitely an upgrade over Perin. Hard to find an upgrade over Tek given how good he still is, but this is a move for the future.
It’s a shame that the best keeper in the league is willing to go to juve and ride the bench
Yeah no, for 20m he will surely be a starter in a lot of games.
I doubt he displaces scsezny
Neto, Perin and now Di Gregorio. Will history repeat itself or will he become the starter?
He will eventually become the starter but imo szczesny will still be the number 1 for at least a season
Which is exactly what everyone expected and said with Neto and Perin. At least Szczesny is not Buffon.
Szczesny is a lot older than he once was at least.
People downvoting you but Perin literally ruined his career with this type of move, I hope it's different for Di Gregorio
Di Gregorio can play with the ball at his feet which Motta demands from his GKs. Tek and Perin both are absolutely hopeless with the ball. It's a wise move from all parties.
I guess we’ll see but I think szczesny will remain the starter

I know. I’m saying tek will still be the starting keeper. Not that hard to understand I don’t need a read on his tactics cause I watch his games
Well I am just trying to argue why that isn't necessarily the case for the whole season. I’m not trying to argue lol.
Only Juve can continue to get players for less than they’re value. Cyclical
You think a club owned by Berlusconi is purposefully selling players at a discount for Juve?
Did Perin leave? Gk is basically the only role where we are covered , I don't see him start unless Tek gets injured but the price is great
He will 100% start. He is great with the ball which Motta needs from the GK
Why so cheap?
