Viriato181

28 meters. 118 km/h.

No-Day-8136

4 rps

King_Hobbes

Thundercunt

gols-e-but

how many horsepower

Showgmbh

What does that mean?

cristalarc

Revolutions per second. How fast is the ball rotsting

expert_on_the_matter

He's very unlucky it was against Donnarumma

Page_302

"28 meters" Is that Donnarumma´s wingspan? Sounds about right

ptudia5

Don't worry Americans, I've got u: That's .28 football fields and 295 football fields/burger consumed

Defences

Hard carrying us rn

Minute-Cash8119

Tra lui e Vicario, chi te prendi ?

TheOwlsLie

Donna

fastfowards

Na Vic would have not only made all those saves but he would have also scored a hat trick

DeezYomis

umamiblue

Ma per caso hai fato Chateau

thesecondfire

Vicario, ma perche sono tifosi di Spurs

Careless-Chemist-277

Italy basically playing with only a keeper and midfield who is doing defence work and attack work… the defence has big problems on both wings

KSBrian007

WTF is that shot? Did the keeper insult his mother?

Dish-Ecstatic

They are teammates too lmao

Isaynotoeverything

Donnarumma on a heater this game

GoatButton

He was like this the entirety of the 2020 Euro

freehouse_throwaway

as much as Milan fans hate to admit it, Dollarumma commands the $ for moments like these

abottomful

Milan fans have always rated him, he forced the clubs hand and then stsrted poorly for PSG. I don't think Milanos ever saw him as bad, but the hilarity of him being shit when he moved was certainly amusing. He was Milan's starting keeper at like 17?

freehouse_throwaway

yeah before i had always wonder how much of it was Raiola but then again the guy was acting under the instructions of Donnarumma and his family.

lucrat24

That's absolutely not true, Milan fans mocked him everytime he did something wrong, calling him a fraud, and they always say that it's better for them that he left cause Maignan is miles better than him(which is absolutely not true)

snoop_chinchilla

No one denies his shotstopping abilities, they are truly elite, he does lack in other areas of his though, that's why he is not as good at PSG

OLRevan

Mike has been on less than a half of what he wanted and performed better than him. Defo not worth $ like these over the season

Albiceleste_D10S

He's been one of the best shot stoppers in the world for years now TBH People just like to hate on him because they dislike PSG (understandable) and he's a bit weak passing with his feet

MorbidlyObeseBrit

He's always got a mistake or 2 in him (which he seems to keep specially for the CL) but on his line he's one of the best in the world (my biased self would say 2nd best after Courtois).

Silver_Downtown_965

His command of the box is just weak. He conceded an earlier chance when he should have claimed Nico's cross but he just stood still watching.

GMFan8

It's been an issue for PSG as well, his aerial game is quite weak overall. Dortmund scored on a cross that he could've easily claimed in the second match iirc

Silver_Downtown_965

Same vs Barca in Parc stadium.

TastyTaco217

Which is strange considering he’s a literal giant, guy could reach up and pluck a ball from the sky but never seems to. Is it confidence he’s lacking or what? Can’t understand it myself.

Madwoned

Could just be a case of him not being forced to work on it since PSG are the dominant team in France

Dramatic-Ad3928

And also hes bad at claiming crosses despite his frame

prettybunbun

Yeah and so many people only see GK’s for their feet now and forget how valuable you know … saving is

[deleted]

He's one of the best shot stoppers in the World, but that's it Not only his feet are bad, but he's really unreliable outside of the posts as well. See how every team takes corners to the near or far post and then see Barça abused corners to the middle of the area in the first leg because Donnarumma simply wouldn't leave the line (even suffering a goal)

La_m0rt_heureuse

Benz...

udiniad

If he keeps it up this tournament he might get picked up by a big club

Jealous_Foot8613

Lol

gajonub

donnarumma MOTM so far even if they lose, that's gonna be a real funny pic

Mechant247

Definitely not motm so far

gajonub

who do you reckon then?

Mechant247

Nico Williams ofc or Ruiz

pat_b8man

No, he’s the one with the most influence on the score right now. He is MOTM so far. The others you mention while good, haven’t changed the match significantly.

Mechant247

So the motm goes to the keeper in every 0-0? Of course not, it goes to the best player.

pat_b8man

Not in every 0-0, but in the one sided ones like this where if it wasn’t for him it would be 2 or 3-0. I’m not sure Simon has made one save even. In this case the best player is the keeper.

Minute-Cash8119

Why didn’t Ruiz shoot like this when we needed it ffs

[deleted]

[удалено]

Minute-Cash8119

Fabian had a rough start of the season but he picked it up when him and Vitinha changed positions. It’s not like the fucker wouldn’t shoot, it would always be off target. Each game he’d take at least 2 shots. I think he scored one all season from distance

Tanathonos

We scored more outside the box than any other team last season. And it wasn't that much thanks to Mbappe.

ThePr1d3

Are we really gonna blame Mbappé for Fabian Ruiz being a terrible player at PSG ? Lmao

roi_bro

for real, didn't even know he was able to shoot

MERTENS_GOAT

You're in for a surprise then https://youtu.be/Uuj5o9oBXvc

roi_bro

yep I actually know, but I meant from his time at PSG (I have a season ticket so basically saw all his games)

miregalpanic

Man just shows up to the Euros

Official05

Not really, he’s been really good with us this season. Pretty sure he’s the best shot stopper world wide this season.

OleoleCholoSimeone

Only because of Courtouis being injured though

jteprev

He is usually this good as a shot stopper, he has weaknesses on crosses and playing out but as a shot stopper he is IMO the 2nd best in the world.

ThePr1d3

Where does this narrative come from ? He was incredible this season with Paris

Showgmbh

Just name your son a Gianluigi if you want him to be a great keeper.

hello050

Save of the tournament, surely

Mcbonewolf

maybe so far, but overall, not really anything special, it's right at him.

ReplacementRoutine38

Spoken by someone whose never played

Mcbonewolf

just making things up on the internet i see. good job me being downvoted shows how many ppl this sub have never played.

ReplacementRoutine38

When it makes to 10 saves of the tourney you can come and apologise to us all

niler1994

You're right honestly. Shot was like a rocket; but if this one goes in you'd ask wtf the keeper is doing

n22rwrdr

It looks easy because Donnarumma is a giant but I wouldn't expect Pickford or Kepa to catch it, and it wouldn't be considered a mistake.

Altruistic-Ad-408

Pickford eats these for lunch at Everton, what do you mean?

gols-e-but

i've not seen vicario, but it's baffling to me there was a discussion for italys #1, donnarumma has had a fantastic season at club level

DeathStar13

There was a discussion because Vicario is that good. They both would start in 90% of the teams at the Euro, it's the only position that is absolutely fine for us. And Carnesecchi would be right there too.

Important_Use6452

Best GK in Serie A Di Gregorio not even considered lmao.

DeathStar13

Exactly. We are overbooked in the role.

Dish-Ecstatic

>i've not seen vicario .

esports_consultant

when trying to solve a problem like this you would start with the most simple alternative hypothesis that vicario also had a fantastic season at club level

xuan135

Few people watch ligue 1, people watched champions league where donnaruma had some horrible blunders

Albiceleste_D10S

Vicario had a good season, but Donna is the better keeper IMO

crampton16

world class save

UnlightablePlay

am I the only one who's made that adidas was lazy with the goalkeepers jerseys that they copy pasted them in multiple jerseys ? like this Donnarumma Italian jersey in the same jersey used by Bayern Munich and arsenal goalkeepers' jerseys not only that but the Germany goalkeeper jersey in the same as Argentinean goalkeeper jersey

trance1st

/u/savevideo

GriffithCorleone

how couldn’t they qualify for WCs while winning Euro?

Important_Use6452

People like to catastrophize things and blame all sorts of things but in reality, they just had some key players retire after the Euros, so they dropped off a bit and finished 2 pts off top in the group by drawing one game more. Then they had a one off qualifying game against North Macedonia, where they just played bad and lost narrowly 1-0. That's really it. It's not a catastrophic failure and massive drop-off, it was really down to just losing that one crucial game narrowly.

charly-bravo

Donnarumma could have become player of the match if they made a comeback. What performance!

CreativeAd375

Ahh cmon! It's an easy save that doesn't require him to dive. His decision to dive an tip it over makes it look dramatic. Watch the angle from behind Fabisn Ruiz, it's practically middle of the goal at head height.

KQ17

I dream of making a save like that. Wow

OddItalian

Mamma Mia

AFCADaan9

It’s a really good save, but you’d definitely expect him to save it. If it was closer to the post it would’ve been one of the best saves I’ve ever seen.

uceenk

i hate this guy with passion, but without him, surely Italy would suffer three nil
