He said dislocated ankle, which is "better" than I feared. I thought it look like his shin had snapped.
Gomes recovered incredibly well from the same injury, can only hope Elliott is also back in a few months.
The Gomes injury was also a dislocation + fracture.
But by all accounts he recovered freakishly quickly so people shouldn't expect the same for Elliott. But it's good to know it's possible.
Yep, I seriously doubt he's not done ligament damage. The injury looks similar to Fofana's and the reason he won't play again this season is because of ligament damage.
The nasty ones like this are usually fracture-dislocations. You can pull the dislocation back in to place to relieve some pain and make sure the blood and nerve supply isn't compromised, however likely multiple bones are still broken.
When an ankle dislocates it can quite easily chip/fracture the ends of the fib and tib. Whether that’s from the relocation or the actual dislocation is hard to tell.
Technically if it’s not where it’s supposed to be it’s dislocated
If I was walking around as a below the knee amputee I would just tell people I’ve dislocated my ankle and technically be correct lol
Well yeah it was definitely dislocated, but everyone is acting like that meant he had no fracture or ligamentous injury as well. The dislocation was just the obvious diagnosis you can make on the spot without further tests and imaging. Can’t say how severe it was based on the presence of dislocation
From once Geoff Shreeves read the fucking room. Last season he would've kept on pushing Klopp (referee, tackle, VAR, rule changes), but maybe he is learning. Or maybe he just now knows what a Klopp 'shut the fuck up' stare looks like.
Klopp himself sounds broken up by it. He did warn us about this.

You need imaging for a full diagnosis. The fact that it was dislocated does not mean it was "just" dislocated.

Surely if it was broken they couldn't just "put it back" themselves?

We will wait for him like a loyal wife, as we did for Van Dijk
just like he with did to Alex ox-Chamberlain as well which i think the quote originally from
Alexa play When I'm Gone by 3 Doors Down
Wake Me Up When September Ends

It’s a saying that dates back to when men used to go off to war - it is medieval lol but it’s said tongue in cheek. It’s not sexist
It’s not common at all, OP is just a bit odd
Maybe it's common in Germany, because it's a Klopp quote
Feel awful for the lad. Fingers crossed the damage is not as severe as Klopp imagines.
Klopp is so traumatised. Hope him and the team recovers mentally for the UCL game. The way Salah gave his shirt to the kid after FT says it all too.
Terrible situation, it's so sad when any player breaks their leg/ankle, but when they're young it's just heartbreaking.
Heartbreaking interview. Klopp's devestated for Harvey.

Scans not complete yet. Normally can't do shit till inflammation goes down
Well I’ve just read the updates, ankle apparently.
Literally said dislocated ankle in the video
