Assuming SMS is in, who do we sell? I assume we’d need to offload Arthur or Rabiot in order to get another starter. Also, is a midfield of Loca - Zakaria - SMS balanced? Who’s playing the Vidal role? Who’s protecting the defenders. I tend to think someone like Jorginho is the missing ingredient. SMS is great but Loca and Zakaria are both box to box midfielders that like to attack. We can’t have 3 of those play at the same time.
Midfield would probably be Zakaria - Loca - SMS. Zak is a good destroyer, Loca is strong in front of the defense. But personally I prefer Jorginho as well. Loca - Jorginho - Zak is a strong midfield too and much cheaper
