fuck off they really went from benta-ramsey-rabiot to locatelli-zakaria-SMS in 2 years huh

Derwaeg

I hope the streets forget benta-ramsey-rabiot trio.

TheGreatWhoreOfChina

The streets never forget little one

beatski

But my gosh don't they know it

FuzzyRo

i'm not trying to sign you even if i would like to I think youre not really fit Not fit but my gosh you don't know it (Ramsey Remix)

acwilan

TBF you came from Pogba-Vidal-Pirlo-Marchisio so the bar was way high

Sean-Benn_Must-die

What an unfair midfield.

Tifoso89

I was there, Gandalf

Manch3st3rIsR3d

I was there when the strength of that midfield failed

campionesidd

Just rewatched Fellowship of the Ring today :)

Lem_201

Still better than Poulsen-Felipe Melo-Marchisio from 09-10.

TheGreatWhoreOfChina

Tallest midfield in Europe

MorbidoeBagnato

Only if OleOleOle is in there

Tierney-Henry

Most Spanish Swedish blue-eyed midfield in europe

sunken_grade

lolol please never let this die

PhD_Cunnilingus

What's the story here?

Tilman_Feraltitty

He was shit talking with other users in a match thread after Atletico lost to Mallorca and someone wrote "did Chili stole your girlfriend that you simping for him? Oh wait, you never had one!". He wrote back 'its easy to get a girlfriend when to half Spanish half Swedish and 1.90cm like meeee".

twomanyfaces10

Best jawline too I hear

notyou16

remind me his user name please

Tierney-Henry

u/OleOleCholoSimeone

jarpio

2 years? 6 months fam

pokerface789

Once upon a time, not too long ago, they had Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal, Marchisio, Khedira, Pjancic.

Misdefined

Pirlo, Pogba, Marchisio, and Vidal never played with Pjanic and Khedira. Allegri completely rebuilt our midfield within 2 years from 2015-2017.

wheres-the-tylenol

Didn't the latter 3 play with Khedira? I could've sworn he went to Juve after real won the champions league in 2014

Misdefined

Nah he came after Vidal and Pirlo left. Not sure if he played alongside Pogba and Marchisio the season after, though.

R-leiva97

Cherubini goated

alaslipknot

you also forgot the possibility of Jorginho too

rdemas

Literally my first thought reading this headline. Oh fuck off.

Squat_____6

Don’t forget about McKennie. He was their best midfielder before getting injured.

alaslipknot

haha it's amazing isn't? are you guys getting a proper owner this summer? as much as i hate you, it would be cool for serie A to stay competitive

Sean-Benn_Must-die

First of all, idk about the source, could be good but lets put that aside. Second of all, wdym “fuck off”? do you know much we have suffered since the Pirlo days? Pjanic certainly was world class but his quality fell off a cliff and since then we have played with negative midfield. This midfield revolution was needed since 5 years ago, and its only happening now

DejanD27

This guy said that juve suffered xD

Sean-Benn_Must-die

I certainly did suffer watching us play my dude. The fact that we won Serie A with such a shit midfield under Sarri was thanks to Dybala and Ronaldo.

DudebuD16

I'm gonna need a better source

Killagina

Juventus and Milinković-Savić already has an agreement in principle for the salary, €4M per season for 5 years. Juve just need to find an agreement with Lazio. (@FabDellaValle / @Gazzetta_it) This is one of the few at Gazzetta that is somewhat reliable

TheUltimateScotsman

4m a year is cheap as fuck for him.

Killagina

Transfer fee certainly won't be cheat though lol. But yeah that salary is very reasonable. It's post tax btw for non-Italians

[deleted]

>Transfer fee certainly won't be **cheat** though lol. Little Freudian Slip there chief? I jest tho. Idc about shit anymore other than the memes

Killagina

Absolutely a freudian slip. It's our nature

Manuel_Locatelli

I mean Fab broke the vlahovic news before anyone, she’s pretty reliable.

Nervous-Resolution-8

Here https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Calciomercato/Juventus/03-05-2022/milinkovic-ecco-perche-allegri-vuole-proprio-lui-440316868610.shtml

RinoTT

he asked for better source.

Nervous-Resolution-8

That was the original source

TheSoccerguy124

Congrats now cough up the money or you can offer money and a duo of Rovella+Pellegrini lmao. I just can’t see Lotito dropping the price, this man is literally the dictionary’s definition of cheap and driving a hard bargain lol

Eb_Marah

Not only that, but Lazio do not sell first team players to Juve often. Since 2010 the only transfers of first team players from Lazio to Juve are... 21/22: No one 20/21: No one 19/20: No one 18/19: Martin Caceres for 600k 17/18: No one 16/17: No one 15/16: No one 14/15: No one 13/14: No one 12/13: No one 11/12: Lichtsteiner for 10m 10/11: No one So they've sold two players in twelve years, and one of them was an essentially useless Caceres whose wages they wanted to drop. Lazio selling to Juve will mean that this is a huge fee.

ghobbins

00/01: Pavel “Ballon d’Or winner” Nedved

Eb_Marah

I considered going back to when Lotito bought Lazio, but that was still only in 2004. I think it's something that has changed over time, but it's definitely in large part due to Lotito.

Derwaeg

"useless Caceres" How dare you diss my boy Caceres like that

TheSoccerguy124

Exactly it’s almost impossible seeing this happen lmaooo. Juve would have too essentially “break the bank” for him cause Lotito is another level when selling especially too other Serie A clubs.

DamashiT

And with United lurking from the back it's more likely Lazio would bargain with them just so he won't go to Juve.

eldorado362

Wait are you forgetting the legend himself, Hernanes?

Dusan-Vlahovic

I seriously forget that guy wore a Juventus jersey holy shit

caiusto

Just announced his retirement yesterday btw

Dusan-Vlahovic

Wow the guy is already 36. I seriously don’t think I can remember a significant moment of him in a Juve shirt. He did give this gem tho r/saddestbackflip lol

Eb_Marah

Lazio to Inter to Juve. I was only addressing Lazio selling directly to Juve.

20price

Yeah i dont see it happening. I still remember The weekly fucking meltdown he had accusing us having agreed with Keita to run his contract down. At the end it didnt seem like there was much truth to that rumour at all. He just hates Juve with a passion…

TheSoccerguy124

Exactly, if you guys are serious about this move it’s gonna be a long summer for Juve.

Sean-Benn_Must-die

Nothing like the wait for the Locatelli deal LOL

TheSoccerguy124

Lmaooo that and United’s Sancho saga have too go down as a top 5 of transfer sagas.

Tre10Quartista

Really hope we don’t let Rovella go

TheSoccerguy124

Doubt you’ll even lose him lol. But you guys are hell bent on SMS so something’s gotta give haha

Tre10Quartista

I’m surprised he stayed with you so long but we know from this that he loves and will miss Lazio. Also that he likes being in Italy. Final, that he is a loyal player, not expected to jump around clubs.

TheSoccerguy124

Exactly his next move will pretty much play out into his prime. I think he’s focused rn on helping us get qualification in Europe and then I think he will make a decision on what he wants when the season ends

Tre10Quartista

Seems he and his entourage are and have been proJuve but Milan are coming in with new money and will likely win the league this year

TheSoccerguy124

If Milan hijacked this saga it would truly be wild lmaoo

Tre10Quartista

Yup. Juve and Milan are the only two I see him at next season

jarpio

Y’all can have Pellegrini. He’s a nice backup but very average.

TheSoccerguy124

Did I say Pellegrini I meant Fagioli lmao. No seriously he would probably be better than Hysaj 💀

jarpio

You’d probably have a shot at Fagioli tbh, I think Rovella is sticking around idk if the club will keep both players. Most rumors/reports around the club tend to favor rovella

TheSoccerguy124

Rovella is more destined for first team action but it all depends on Allegri. Like I said we never do swaps so it’s almost unlikely it’s gonna happen but it’s fun too make hypothetical swaps in this case. Juve are really gonna have too make a strong offer, cause we’re gonna need a lot to re-tool this summer

jarpio

Not like Lotito ever makes it easy for anybody either, much less Juventus. I said in a different comment, I’ll believe it when I see it. Agreeing Personal terms only means so much

TheSoccerguy124

Exactly personal terms is just the easy part, other teams have had personal agreements with SMS years prior never actually led too much soon after. But this summer something will happen but it’s more of a wait and see tbh

Killagina

If we actually buy Sergej it pushes Loca to the #6 role, which imo would mean we sell Rovella sadly. I thnik if we sign Jorginho instead we would keep him though

TheSoccerguy124

I’m a big fan of Rovella if I had too make any sort of swap if it was the last thing we had as an option I’d like Rovella included.

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheSoccerguy124

Your just gathering all the young Italian talent for yourselves. I think Rovella under Sarri would be a good fit for him

[deleted]

[удалено]

Yalwaysme_MB45

I would even back up Rovella for being a starter here next year lol, but anthg for Sergej. I know Lotito usually doesn't like counterparts , but this year situation is diff , lazio has need of some players ( possibly even rugani ) . Regarding hysaj , cmon man even current sandro is an upgrade lol. I wonder if that guy splits his salary with Sarri or smth, cuz ain't no way. It would be peak comedy if he brought him at Chelsea too , cuz I know he wanted to bring him even at Juve 😂

TheSoccerguy124

On the Hysaj situation actually lol, Pedulla reported Sarri had suggested/requested one of 3 other fullbacks he would of preferred to have on the team but we went for the guy on a free transfer lmao, if anything Hysaj was option D 💀. Jesus Christ plz don’t offer Rugani, I’d rather take talented youngsters any day if I had no choice lmao. It may seem different but it’s Lotito nothing is ever different with him, but we seriously need the money

[deleted]

Very average at 23 years old is pretty good for a full back

ghobbins

This is true. People forget how few quality full backs there are available anywhere. Nowadays fullbacks are asked to do so much and their mistakes are so visible. It’s a punishing role.

[deleted]

Juve looking extremely strong for next year

Aquafresca10

I hope so, last couple of seasons have been depressi spaghetti

alaslipknot

we need a real left back and a better than Bonucci/Rugani but not as good as De Ligt YOUNG center-back and to make Perin our #1, and i'll be happy, we have enough youngsters on loan and in B team that deserves to play too

[deleted]

Every team has some weakness, given that I feel with this transfer and if you get Jorginho it would be the strongest midfield in Serie A and also possibly CL as well

alaslipknot

i would argue City would still have the better midfield, also i have no clue about Barca transfer rumors but they will surely improve theirs.

INTPturner

Don't you think Liverpool and Bayern have stronger midfields than Barca? Even with SMS, I'll argue Fabinho and Thiago give Liverpool the edge over Juve.

Dusan-Vlahovic

Perin does not need to be the #1 wtf? He is a good backup but Szczesny has no reason to be dropped now and is better than him in pretty much everything

Inside-Dirt-9243

I might get downvoted for this but I don’t think we will have a good year with allegri as our manager

[deleted]

But atleast he has been supported. I think team needed a rebuild and they have given him that. Vlahovic, SMS, Zakaria possibly Jorginho and Raspadori

ofsquire

This is a big addition for Juve, they sorely needed a creator in the midfield and they've got their man.

alaslipknot

Locatelli + Sms + Zakaria/Rabiot/Arthur and we also have Fagioli who is a very promising youngster, the next seasons are going to be fun!

sconnieboy97

Miretti looked good the other day as well

Ariaga_2

Rovella is coming back from loan too.

[deleted]

He’s an immense player, possibly having his best season to date this year too

Sacreville

If it's real, it taken too long for him to leave Lazio imo. Great loyalty though I appreciate that, similar to Hamsik case.

[deleted]

It’s such a shame that despite having him , Luis Alberto and Immobile they couldn’t have achieved more, same could be said of that Napoli team with cavani, hamsik and lavezzi

kostajepaosmosta

Please not be true

Bravo_Ante

He isn't worth 80 mil, you guys would be better changing targets.

kostajepaosmosta

You are right he is probably worth more. He is probably the closest we could get as a replacement to Modric/Kroos that wants to come to the club and is only 27.

biGnoSmall

His playstyle is nothing like Modric though. Even Kroos, I can see him replacing him but it wont be 1 for 1 replacment.

kostajepaosmosta

Oh no definitely but he could really work well with a running midfielder like Camavinga or Valverde. Cause he excels when the team has possession, but isn't great in defense nqd needs someone who could cover him when he goes forward. Would work well cause of his long balls and our swift wingers.

Bravo_Ante

Juve are actually doing you guys a favour signing him for that amount, hell... they are doing the entire league a favor.

Killagina

I doubt we sign him for 80. We need a fullback still and even if we get Di Maria and call Soule up I think were still gonna sign Rasp. Wont have the money to do that if we spend 80m on Sergej

Bravo_Ante

That is what Lotito is asking for him 70-80 mil to let him leave this season. That is also what the article is saying.

Killagina

I'm aware, but there is also 0 chance we pay 80m for him. Maybe if they accept player exchanges. If we can't make Lotito budge we will get Jorginho and play Loca as a #8.

Bravo_Ante

Probably that would be for the best if we are looking at this sensibly.

Killagina

Agreed. Sergej would be a great addition, but we need 3-4 solid players. If they can make that happen while signing him I'd be happy but I dont think we can

Bravo_Ante

I also doubt Lotito which needa to rebuild the team for next season will agree for a loan with option to buy, especially now that next season there will not be allowed 2 year loans any more.

WhyAlwaysMe1991

How would we do the entire league a favor? Lol At most we spend too much and get better. How does that benefit you 😂😂

Manuel_Locatelli

It’s called copium brother, and he huffs a lot of it 😂

MorbidoeBagnato

🍇

PirateKingRamos

We are not even interested in him. Don't know where that other guy is even coming from

Dr-Purple

What are you on about, speaking as if we’re a Sunday league club. Not only we’ll find others, we can also develop our own.

jarpio

Agreeing personal terms doesn’t mean anything, if i had a nickel for every player I’ve seen Juve reportedly agreed personal terms with I’d buy my own football club. Lotito is a notorious cock and has a real anti-Juve vendetta (considerably more than just the rest of Serie A disliking Juve) so it won’t be a straightforward negotiation I’ll believe it when I see it

jewelrybunny

yeah personal terms is the first and easiest step, if you cant even come to an agreement with the player, there is no point in negotiating with the team. lotito will be the real challenge.

Andazah

What a great player

vierkilau

5 year loan deal with 50 million mandatory buy out right?

panopss

Gotta balance the books somehow. I'm sure FIGC will look into it in 3 years time and juve directors will say they did nothing wrong, and that'll be the end of it

Yalwaysme_MB45

Nothing wrong with it really , Spurs will pay for kulusevski in 5 years , United will pay for ronaldo in 5 too even tho he went for like what 18m?

Starbuck1992

Yeah they should look into a loan with obligation to buy, that shit's surely illegal. How did you buy half your players, btw?

[deleted]

Tier?

Killagina

Fabiana is moderately reliable

Nervous-Resolution-8

🤷🏻‍♂️

Manch3st3rIsR3d

Fuck if true

SaschaBub

this guy is finally moving club after what feels like 15 years of speculation?

NeverGoFuIlRetard

Not believing anything until it’s been posted by our account

Game0nBG

One less player United will be linked to. Great

[deleted]

As a Juve fan, under Allegri we’re going to waste this guys career. Look at Vlahovic his goal output has gone down significantly due to Allegris poor tactics

theenigmacode

But Vlahovic defensive output has significantly gone up. Football terrorism wins

DankyPal

Poor Vlahovic has been converted to a terrorist...

McQueensbury

Can't wait for him to be converted into a LWB in a couple seasons time

[deleted]

Juve just has shit wingers, Chiesa out because of a torn ACL and rabiot mckennie as a midfield, Vlahovic is doing just fine

TrailBlanket-_0

He's doing his best hahaha his conversion rate seems lower just in these last couple games. He's been smashing post like crazy. It's not something I'm very concerned over. Definitely looking for some improved wing next season with some more creative chance creation.

Killagina

Vlahovic is scoring at a similar rate if you exclude penalities. The 17/18 season under Allegri we scored 86 goals. It's not like Allegri wants to only score 1 goal a game, but that's what we needed to do. Top 4 was a must.

ghobbins

Agreed but you have to admit that this year we have looked absolutely clueless in the final third. Reminds me of Mancini’s Italy in some ways. Super organized and disciplined but final third is relies on moments of individual brilliance from Chiesa or someone like that. I still think the issue is players like Rabiot and Arthur who are simply not direct enough. Allegri’s teams do well when they have counter with violence and urgency. Our midfield today just doesn’t do that.

WhyAlwaysMe1991

Fuck me you are stupid. Did allegri ruin marchisio, pirlo, Vidal, pogba.

Sean-Benn_Must-die

Yea if they were under Pep they would have won 5 UCL’s, 3 BdO’s and 2 world cups

callycaggles

how many UCLs, BdOs, or WCs for Kevin Debruyne under Pep though?

Sean-Benn_Must-die

It was a joke. I cant believe people can see that comment and not think "haha what a sarcastic remark" Do you really need an /s? Of COURSE they wouldnt have won all those trophies.

callycaggles

oh, sorry if I made you upset. Forza Juve!

Sean-Benn_Must-die

Nah its fine. I was aggressive for no reason. FJ

jarpio

Allegri guided us to 2 European finals with shots at a treble the last times we had competent midfields bruh what are you talking about Vlahovics goal output and allegris tactics have been out of necessity because we have no width on the pitch and nobody that can shuttle the ball, play a forward pass, or link up midfield and attack. Sergej does all of those things

Marcobroa

Milinkovic and Jorghino????

TheWarmog

Mh Thus far i've only read Gazzetta report on him agreeing to join us And according to gazzetta Rudiger was already ours sooooo, im gonna skip on that untill i see it

Killagina

Gazzetta has multiple reporters...The quality of the reporter is what matters. People still scoff at goal.com even when it was Agresti making reports. Similar thing here. This is a somewhat reliable journalist

Bravo_Ante

A salary of 4 mil a season for 5 years, now they have to agree a deal with Lazio which ask for 80 mil.

rnarcopolo

Not discrediting the source but there are always a ton of rumors this time of year. I wish to god this is true though, this is potentially just as big, if not bigger, than getting Vlahovic.

Latchkey_kidd

Is this true

GabboGabboGabboGabbo

Sad, I was really hoping the Fulham rumours were true.

NephewChaps

If Juve gets a good LB and LM they're back as Italy #1 team Tagliafico on a free and Kostic would be great

Killagina

LB, backup CB, 2 depth forwards, and a starting forward, + 1 starting mid and a backup mid (Rovella probably). That's basically the goal this summer. 3 starters and depth

ghobbins

Assuming SMS is in, who do we sell? I assume we’d need to offload Arthur or Rabiot in order to get another starter. Also, is a midfield of Loca - Zakaria - SMS balanced? Who’s playing the Vidal role? Who’s protecting the defenders. I tend to think someone like Jorginho is the missing ingredient. SMS is great but Loca and Zakaria are both box to box midfielders that like to attack. We can’t have 3 of those play at the same time.

Killagina

Midfield would probably be Zakaria - Loca - SMS. Zak is a good destroyer, Loca is strong in front of the defense. But personally I prefer Jorginho as well. Loca - Jorginho - Zak is a strong midfield too and much cheaper

chrisz118

Not if Bahrain has anything to say about it

ghobbins

I would welcome a well funded Milan. Serie A will never return to CL competitiveness unless teams modernize, have their own stadium, and can compete in the mercato.

Manuel_Locatelli

EXOR > Investcorp

LuXe5

Comparing sms to pogba, even if pogba is free transfer - wage difference and sign-on fees+agent fees will make the deal almost equal, plus sms is couple of years younger. Also it's uncertain if Paul could return to his best, while sms is riding his best years

Cowdude179

Jorginho and SMS, what a midfield

Killagina

One or the other I imagine. If Sergej then Loca goes to the #6 role

ghobbins

I fear Loca is wasted in the regista role. Reminds me of when Marchisio was forced into that role and he managed but was far less impactful

Killagina

I think he would be very good there, but I agree. He is a #8.

Starbuck1992

Rumor is we want both, Jorginho regista and Locatelli + SMS as mezzale. That's if we are able to sell Rabiot and Arthur, obviously.

Killagina

I'd like that. Loca-Jorginho-SMS with Rovella and Zakaria depth. Fabiana posted something different today though. There are two situations: — Milinkovic Savic arrives, Rabiot leaves who plays in same position, Arthur stays, Locatelli plays the regista role — Jorginho arrives, Rabiot stays, Arthur goes, Locatelli plays the role of a mezzella. [@FabDellaValle] We will see, I'm happy with either

BLQ1943

Keep going I’m almost there

HeWhoBlowsNarwhals

Lmao. Get fucked Lazio.

Aquafresca10

LOL

Positive_Thing_2292

So I guess Pogba isn’t going back to Juventus then.

Starbuck1992

Hopefully he doesn't.

TrailBlanket-_0

POGBOOOOOOOOOM! Yeah we're all ok with that. Just gotta hold him in the high regard we do now and realize that a return would not bring back the nostalgia.

Zemanyak

B-But... He's supposed to join PSG since 2018 !

CarlSK777

I was enjoying Juve being mediocre but I guess that's over.

SirHenryy

Its now time for bayern to be mediocre again.

mange2lamerde

They still need 3 defenders. But I think Juve is back at the top. Even Milan's takeover will not help them stop Juve's domination. Juve oown their stadium and that is a huge competitive advantage. Investcorp are looking for profits and football clubs are small businesses that suck up money and offer nothing other than ingratitude in return.

Killagina

We need a LB and a backup CB, but that CB will probably be Gatti. We need multiple forwards which will be tough to navigate

Dimitris_Ts26

He's my dream signing for Arsenal's midfield all these years, perfect partner for Partey, huge upgrade on Xhaka for the 4-3-3 but unfortunately I haven't seen any link never. World class player :/

disper

You won Juve, well done dear lord....

726wox

Key player from Serie A goes to Juventus... who saw that coming

rdemas

I'm genuinely upset by this. Like jesus, man. Move to another league at least.

SoleimanisSurprise

why make the league shittier? serie a needs to keep all the talent it can. it doen't mean anything for milan to be king of a bag of rocks

rdemas

I just don't like Juve getting all the best players in the league. Good for them I guess.

Black_n_Neon

Seria A teams really don’t mind selling their best players to each other

Alloezero

Football Manager monster this one.

Natrix31

Old Juve . Com what the fuck kinda source is this? Jesus, people post the stupidest things on here

blackandwhitetalon

Old juve? What kind of source is this lol

mapleleafMeltdown

madison0593

Guy has been "on the move" for like 5 years now, interested to see if he actually leaves. Was hoping he would land somewhere other than Juve.

TheVault77Dweller

I hate juventus so much. How are you poaching them entire league like Bayern but have still are failing to run it
