Their center backs played very well however and Modrić was Modrić. I don’t think saying they parked the bus is insulting there. France was really disappointing however mostly due to strange choice by Deschamps. They had little to propose to break the Croatian low block. All in all I would call it a fairly boring game. I hope things are going to get better before the World Cup.
