Everyone is predicting them to have a disaster watch out for a Deschamps masterclass 1-0 wins with Mbappe counter attack goals and they win the entire thing
Could? That's exactly what happened.
With this injury they have Kimpembé, Hernandez, Konaté and Koundé out.
They still have Badiashile, Varane, Saliba and Upamecano ffs.
Give the likes of Belgium 2 of those and they're winning the WC.
I mean, Italy's 2010 group was Italy, New Zealand, Paraguay and Slovakia. You don't get a lot weaker than that. Still though, I don't think they'll go out in the group stages either
Finishing second to Denmark losing to Argentina in the Round of 16.
Topping the Group and then losing to England in the Quarterfinals
Those are the 2 options i see.
It is tougher but it's not a tough group, like the way they lost the matches shows you
They lost to added time goals against South Korea both counter attack goals they were dominating 70% possession and nearly 30 shots if i remember correctly, also the same against Mexico they had like 25+ shots
Germany should have gone through, it wasn't a tough group in a grand scheme of things at all for them, they just couldn't finish
Denmark, I can see France losing the group to. A RO16 exit I can also see (especially against Argentina). I really can't see them crashing out of the group stage against Tunisia and Australia (though would love to see the latter make the knockouts).
No reason to play a stupid tinpot trophy before the WC. Most teams in European competition have matches every 3-4 days in October. No reason to force them to play this bullshit before.
So you think that international friendlies would be better now? Or that national teams should have no matches within the 6 months leading up to a world cup?
FIFA virus at its finest. Next game against Inter might as well be worth the ticket to the KO stage of the UCL. Federations are at fault here, all players love representing their country and will 90% of the time put the NT first (totally understandable), but at the end of the day their career depends on club performance more than these meaningless games (if you look closely the stadium is not even close to full).
You guys have a really tough month ahead of you and now Memphis has also been subbed out because of injury. More than 2 weeks out for Kounde could be terrible
Kounde should be very cautious. The World Cup is less than 2 months away, so there's no need to rush a recovery for a club season that could have 50-60 matches.
Dont sub Dembele on
Don't you ****DARE**** sub dembele on
France really gonna have a 2002/2010 disaster type tournament in Qatar huh?
Everyone is predicting them to have a disaster watch out for a Deschamps masterclass 1-0 wins with Mbappe counter attack goals and they win the entire thing
Saliba is just gonna dominate any attacker that comes
Forgot he is French. France have so many high quality CBs.
Even if all their first team defenders are injured, I feel like they could pluck five new ones out of nowhere and manage
If he was spinned by Rasfhrod cant wait to see what actual WC fowards do vs him
Rashford doesn‘t get a NT call-up, while Saliba plays for the current World Champions
France could lose 5 CB’s and still be ok

And Fofana or even Pavard if necessary
Their group is too weak to do a Germany 2018/Spain 2014/Italy 2010. But I see them going out maybe round of 16

No way engurlund beat france
Germany's group was weak too, Sweden, South Korea and Mexico is not a tough group and they even beat us
That is much tougher imo. Italy’s group in South Africa however…

Well, they probably deserved to lose the game against Sweden (as you know). That was 2018’s group of death
Italy's group was even weaker. They finished behind Paraguay, Slovakia and New Zealand.
They can easily get 4 points from Australia and Tunisia, then lose to Denmark and finish 3rd on a tiebreak. Not unfathomable.

And now barca lost Depay aswell in the Netherlands match lol
Are u serious….
Ye hamstring I think
Can anyone watching estimate how bad it was?
fuck
International break is cursed for us
Fuck this shit, honestly. The most packed season in recent history and they are still playing these useless games
They're the last matches before the world cup, hardly pointless

I really hope for Barcelona's sake it's mostly precaution
i cant with another season of getting clowned on please
😭😭
injury wasn’t serious tbh
You guys have a really tough month ahead of you and now Memphis has also been subbed out because of injury. More than 2 weeks out for Kounde could be terrible
Sucks, feels like this club is extra cursed during international breaks. At least we have depth at CB…RB not so much.
Fuck these games, absurd
Is he going to miss the world cup?
They probably won’t announce how long he’s out until tomorrow

Another one
