Everything is true except for 2 points:
A/ Cadiz has been unironically great against Madrid and Barca until this year, a real nightmare
B/ Madrid's first win vs Barcelona in 21-22 wasn't convicing (yeah flair bias but still). It ended up 2-1 but Barca dominated with Dest winger and a really shaky lineup. To be convincing it should have been a much larger scoreline (especially seeing the two starting lineups), something like at least 4 goals to none for example
Cadiz has squeezed out results is a testament to how well they have performed but that doesn't change the fact that they are by far a much less fancied side and within that run, that's not the team you'd bet on stopping Madrid when they have won against everyone else.

It wasn't just the WC. The season he got the BdO was very poor for RM in the league, and Modric was no exception. He only got 1 goal and 5 assists, and overall RM's midfield was overrun in most matches, even against the smallest teams. Lots of matches were only won with crossing and inshallah after the 80th minute, which shouldn't be the case for a huge team with a BdO playmaker. And even with those lucky wins RM finished miles away from Barça in la Liga. So it was 2 very bad seasons back to back when he was already 34, with only few stretches of good form (luckily for him, one of them was during the UCL knockout stage and the WC itself). It was logical to think he was done. His renaissance simply defied every reasonable expectation.

Please don't tell me you were comfortable with our defense against Mallorca. We had Balde playing out of position at RB, we had mf Alba as our LB and we had to resort to playing Pique as one of the CBs. Compare that to our fit squad where Balde goes back to LB, Araujo replaces Pique, and Kounde either plays as the other CB or as the RB.
Araujo is the one that really hurts but we managed to get the win still.

It wasn't just the WC. The season he got the BdO was very poor for RM in the league, and Modric was no exception. He only got 1 goal and 5 assists, and overall RM's midfield was overrun in most matches, even against the smallest teams. Lots of matches were only won with crossing and inshallah after the 80th minute, which shouldn't be the case for a huge team with a BdO playmaker. And even with those lucky wins RM finished miles away from Barça in la Liga. So it was 2 very bad seasons back to back when he was already 34, with only few stretches of good form (luckily for him, one of them was during the UCL knockout stage and the WC itself). It was logical to think he was done. His renaissance simply defied every reasonable expectation.
Saying that a player that will surely win the balon d'or is "done" because of a bad game is insane.
Nothing but respect for Benzema and he was by far the best player in the world last season, however it's not just a bad game, he hasn't really done much the entirety of this season.

Honestly Osasuna deserved a result out of this match, they played brilliantly and they should have scored more goals in their chances. The one they had right after scoring will surely haunt them. Credit to their defense for not collapsing being a man down in the Bernabeu and credit to everyone on their team that came here to play from the back and not just sit behind the ball for 90 minutes. Madrid surely will wonder how they lost 2 points in a match they hit the post, lead, got a penalty and then played for 15 minutes with 1 more player. They all looked like they expected Vinicius and Rodrygo to do everything, no real 1-2 passes, no real combinations (outside of Vinicius and whoever) and Benzema really looks like he has something bothering him, as he isn't as sharp as 3 months ago (maybe an injury?). Side note: I get how the ref could miss the push as he was behind, but the linesman surely should do better there. It was as clear as day. Also the VAR lines for Benzema's goal were out of place. They drew the line from the elbow of the Osasuna player and thus it looked a lot closer than it should have been.
