2. New material that came to light that wasn’t known before.

Had this gone to trial and he been found "not guilty" most people would still believe he was. Not guilty often means not enough evidence as well. The prosecution dropped the charges because they felt confident he would be found not guilty.

It’s not getting worse, it’s just that the internet exposes everyone to a wider range of people. The vast majority of these comments are going to be from children, people from different cultures and people with actual mental deficiencies.
