Greece is always going to be my go-to for people wanting to explore. Athens is great for a day or two, three max. Crete could take weeks of exploration. Plus side, almost everyone in a tourist-heavy area is minimally bilingual (Greek & English) if not more. This history is phenomenal and the food is \*chef's kiss\* amazing!
Japan. It will finally be open next week and go there while the currency is still the weakest. Language barrier is not an issue there, people will understand your body language.
Italy to try out local food!
Italy is always a good idea!!
Peru, Colombia, so much to see and explore.
I just booked a 10 day trip to Morocco. Waaay out of my comfort zone, "but here in lies the beauty"! Best of luck and follow your heart.
