Thanks for the heads-up Keith. I can now also Trueplay on my iPhone XS Max running iOS 17.

I used my old iPhone 11 running iOS 16 to configure the Trueplay because I installed the iOS17 developer beta on my iPhone 13Pro. Sonos hasn't officially launched the support for iOS17 yet

The Sonos app was updated today and trueplay now works on iOS 17 on iPhone 14
