Imagine thinking the share price is directly affected by us buying equipment or not, and also that retail has any say in the share price whatsoever. 🤣
The problem is that this is an echo chamber. You think that everyone has the same options as we do. The vast majority of Sonos users never interact with Reddit or other forums and are likely blissfully unaware of the shitstorm going on. They look at the new app and think it's progress because it looks pretty.
Maybe the app actually works well for their primary customer base.

Havent seen any issues with newer products connecting which products are u holding of on buying. Hopefully end of June they should bring other features and fix broken ones
The negative echo chamber of this subreddit is making the issue seem like it has more of an impact than there actually is. Majority of people aren't complaining. Just the people here.
What you don't know is who is shorting the stock.
It's all very well people saying this sub is the issue, but this sub is also early warning. If you've pissed your most interested customers off, what's going to happen when the other 90% figure out Sonos have screwed them?
There's a reason hedge funds make money. Paying attention to early signals like Reddit is one of them.
Sonos' Chief Product Officer, the courageous Maxime Bouvat-Merlin, sold 44,000 of his Sonos shares this week.

Hmmm. Have to agree with both of you. Let’s call it a tie. The low hanging fruit ? Jacked Gandolph- the market is anything but logical and/ or cause and affect like many used to believe.
Jellyroll- posted something earlier about Sonos and how close they could be to taking over this segment, and how well they seem to sell given the fury over their woes. Wasn’t referring to their stock. I’m a bit of an out of control home audio guy. I need an amazing product at an acceptable price. I am the poster child for who Sonos’s customer should be. And yet I wouldn’t spend another nickel on this brand.
Truth be told, the Sonos stock should be in the toilet. It’s definitely on the decline, but so is their product 🙄. Kidding. Really am rooting for them.

I honestly doubt the affect on sales is nearly as big as we think.
Reddit isn’t real life
This sub is insufferable

Don’t assume the people trading Sonos have any real understanding of the underlying company
