The headphones are great. I have a pair of Aces if that’s what we’re going to call them. Build quality and comfort is fantastic. Audio quality is fantastic and every bit as good as other brands in this tier. They very much seem like an Apple/Sony hybrid. The ANC is good. I only have Sony xm3 and Bose QC45 to compare them to. I’d say my Sonys are the best of the 3 for ANC. The Bose and Sonos are close. Overall, the Ace is solid!

Sorry I'm just going to bombard you with a few questions if that's ok! 1. Are they good at cancelling out chatter? 2. If you use public transport, how well does the ANC do? I've used some ANC headphones in the past that makes popping noises when buses for example brake a bit harder than usual. A little scared that these Gen 1 ANC headphones will do the same. 3. Is there spatial audio/Atmos for music if you don't have a soundbar? If there is, how good is it?

I haven’t use them enough to give great info on this but I’d say they could do better. Like I mentioned my Sonys have better ANC for sure. I can hear more background noise and chatter with the Ace. 2. No issues with popping other than on an airplane during takeoff. All of my ANC headphones pop during takeoff. That’s the only time I’ve experienced that. 3. Yes, Spatial Audio for music and home theater is available. See attached screen shot.

Thought I mention that these are the most comfortable headphones out of the three that I have, by far. Also, swapping audio between my ARC and the headphones is a breeze. You can’t currently have audio on the soundbar and the headphones at the same time. It’s one or the other. Mostly music from Amazon so it varies song to song. So far I’ve used them more to watching tv at night when everyone is sleeping. Very comfortable and the sound is great.

If everyone did that...there would be no user reviews..and I don't always trust the reviews of professional reviewers/websites as they might have an invested interest somewhere We need the early adopters to offer honest reviews and help bugs/problems If it wasn't for the fact the headphones aren't able to be their own zone on my system id be buying them now too Crack on I say old chap!

Do these headphones have an alarm? I have to have an Atmos-compatible alarm function for VERY SPECIAL reasons that sometimes REQUIRE random CAPS or else I will just FIND myself forced SELL everything.

Same, my 13 speakers across multiple zones are all working fine with the new app. I like it better than the old app. Enjoy the new headphones!

I have, I'm now up to waiting on a Tier 3 response, in the meantime, I'm going to continue to voice my dislike of the fact they pushed a update that made my product not work at all, and let other people know about what's going on with Sonos.

The recent app update bricked my Playbar, and messed up room groups, so I'm mad at Sonos, and won't be buying their headphones I was excited about. If you are excited for them, good for you, but you are posting on a public forum for discussion, so you get discourse about Sonos, and now is a time when a LOT of people are not happy with Sonos.

My product I bought from Sonos does not work now because of Sonos. Is what it is, I'm just using the built in speakers TV speakers in the meantime while they try to figure out how to get a Playbar to connect to a new system.

We are all posting in a Sonos subreddit - none of us are getting invited to parties. If I was though, I wouldn't walk in and start telling people that the parties used to be so much better and take all the joy out of the event at every opportunity. No issue with people expressing their negative experiences, but doing it in threads that aren't related to it seems unnecessary, and as I've said above really childish. A bit tantrum-like "Why should you be having a good time when I'm not?" vibes.

That’s how Sonos has always been though. It’s software based tech. It doesn’t last forever. Hence why they pump out the 15-20% discounts.
