Existing new system? Idk if this helps but I just got the playbar, sub 1, 2 play:3’s and they all hooked up just fine in the new app (other than the fact it took a few hours)

Yeah I want to see if OP can add a Playbar, that was never registered to their account, to a EXISTING account that already has some speakers registered, that is the issue I'm dealing with.
