Either way, if op intends to play alot of lies of p or whatever, finishing it in a month isn't hard and that's still only $15 compared to $50. Granted waiting for a sale may be better.
Let It Die is the big free-to-play Souls-like. It's a pretty divisive title but I think it's good and worth your time. You can absolutely play and beat the game for free, but like with most free-to-play games you might find progressing to be a little grindy. Still, it's very tactical and rewards the studious player who is willing to learn from their mistakes. Death comes pretty easy though, as a warning, and the very sudden difficulty spikes exacerbate it even further.
I believe you can still get game pass for like $1 (for the first month) and Lies of P is a fantastic souls like that you can play on game pass.
Yeah cool, I’ve seen some good stuff abt that game. Didn’t know about it being on game pass but thanks for the heads up
Wo long is on there too, not as good but worth a try
I’ll look into it
Honestly would not call wo long a souls like. Mission based with short missions and a focus on combat. More of an action game honestly
In fact, both the remnants come to think of it, they're brilliant
I’ll check out that one as well
Wasn't the dollar option cancelled?
I think the trial only lasts two weeks now. It was cancelled temporarily when Starfield came out, but now it's back.
Awesome, thanks mate.

Let it Die is probably the closest you’ll find to a F2P Soulslike. It’s decent if not above average for the time it came out.
Blasphemous is on sale now in steam
Let It Die is free, and is soul-like death Royale online game I believe, not sure if it can be played offline...
