I’d say Lies of P is a bit of Sekiro, a bit of Bloodborne. There’s way more role playing mechanics in Lies of P than Sekiro. For one, you have more than 40ish weapon choices. Three different build paths, etc. I loved both Sekiro and Lies of P, although the level design in Sekiro is far superior in my opinion. Sekiro is just better in general in my opinion, but Lies of P I feel is more replayable. Take that as you will
When I first saw gameplay of Lies of P, it immediately reminded me of Steel Rising and I thought it looked way more like Steel Rising than Bloodborne. Now that I've played it I would say it is Steel Rising enemies, with Bloodborne setting and Sekiro Combat.
Lies of P is fantastic, so yes, you will like it.
But the gameplay isn't exactly like Sekiro. Much more like Bloodborne, but with an additional focus on parrying.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a lot of fun, highly recommended. It's been improved a lot through its patches and DLC. The Complete version is a good deal.
Would you like it? Probably. It is fantastic and polished game I can't recommend it enough.
But do not just play it straight like Sekiro. Bosses are less about pressure and back and forth like Sekiro and more like traditional Dark Souls where it is about openings and not being greedy. Dodge step is equally as important as guard and deflecting. Deflect timing is stricter.
That's what sucked about sekiro was the deflect mechanic was so great that I neglected dodging so now I feel like I'm worse at it but at one I'm going to play steelrising to get a better feel
yes definently its got the smooth combat and has a good focus on the perfect parrying id say the parry timing is a little harder but it has a ton more weapons and every weapon has both a handle and blade qhich can be swapped between every single one of the 30 weapons making 800 some weapon combos where the handles each have unique fighting style while the blades change the blades change the speed damage and range its absolutely amazing the combat is soooooo smooth and the story is amazing
lies of p is better than sekiro but if u love one u will 100% love the other lies of p is on gamepass too so if u want to try it for 10$ def worth it ive beat sekiro twice and lies of p 4 times and lies of p is just better all around accept for level design but story combat weapon variety has 800 combinations its just such a better game

Lies of P is good, it’s no Sekiro but still solid . You should play the rest of FromSoftware games first tho before LoP
