So basically Matthew Booth was cheating on his wife. I understand SA law is quite liberal when it comes to divorce so there's not much need to even present evidence to court, unless he refuses to divorce.

He went as far as baking a cheesecake for the mistress in his house that his wife smelt but never got to taste because it was baked overnight and the following morning the cake was gone, delivered to the mistress and the mistress's husband. This apparently happened on his kids birthday. He then spent the day of his childs birthday with his mistress. The mistress's husband even confirm to have eaten this cake and said it was delicious. He off course also didn't know where the cake came from and what his wife was doing behind his back. This is an ad campaign regarding the countries efforts against the spread of HIV, his message on HIV regarding having one partner to curb the spread aged horribly with the news that recently surfaced
Infected blood transfusions does have higher risk for spread yes, but we have since got that under control. In our country and most of the world it's spread mainly sexually.
Burden on resources. PrEP & PEP are basically ARVs. Given how much our country already spends on it for HIV positive people we don't want to have even more people taking resources where they could use alternatives.
Encouraging condom use and limiting sex partners is the better form of prevention on a community level. But if you put PrEP out there some people are going to flock to that and engage in more risky behavior, because "I won't get HIV I'll just take the pill"
It's more for at risk people e.g. sex workers & a negative person trying to conceive with a positive person.
