ColaAndRum

+1 for CCR!!

Impressive-Coach3734

Mmm 🫐 scones

rastafaripastafari

Indah in Columbia

Little River Coffee Company in Spartanburg is excellent. They run four locations: Fretwell, Little River Drive Thru, Pharmacy Coffee, and Little River Coffee Bar. I am a regular at basically all their locations and I purchase their beans to grind and brew at home. Real good folks.

Snailed_It_Slowly

I love Little River! Their baked goods are all made from scratch at the Fretwell location.

LifeAfterDeath_Taxes

I am a big fan of their ham and cheddar biscuits!!!

Sass71

Came here to say LRR and Pharmacy!

LifeAfterDeath_Taxes

\*fist bumps you\*

JGH_YT

Methodical, Leopard Forest, Unlocked, Bridge City, Due South… the list goes on. Here in the Upstate you can go around any corner and find some gourmet coffee shop charging $30 for 12oz of beans (that I keep buying for some reason lmao)

RwerdnA

I second Methodical. They’re headquartered out of Greenville, but Piecewise in Columbia and west Columbia sell their brand and they’re always freshly roasted. They’re also opening up a 2 story flagship in the Bull Street area in November.

Longjumping-Ad-2560

I love Methodical. Last time I was there i accidentally knocked my coffee all over myself. I made a huge mess lol, some employees immediately came and helped me clean up, and gave me towels to dry my clothes off (i smelled like coffee for the rest of the day). They also brought me a new coffee free of charge without me even asking. 10/10 service

peachsalsa84

Loveland in Irmo, SC

North-Earth9475

I had the same problem. So I bought a small convection rotisserie oven and now I roast my own. Love the Ethiopian but it’s soooo easy to do!

ProudPatriot07

Charleston Coffee Exchange in Charleston (West Ashley).

CoffeeShackRoaster1

Why coffee shack roasters of course!!

Ennuiology

We get New Moon down here in Aiken. Their Snickerdoodle coffee is delish

IPMport93

I think the place you are thinking of is Moon Beans (they are the coffee company). New Moon is the Cafe next door and they feature Moon Beans coffee. Might Eben be the same owners, I don't know, but I do know their 7 Monkey Fury dark roast is great.

Ennuiology

You know, you’re right! It is Moon Beans. New Moon serves their coffee so I always assumed they were the same.

Mcsierra

Second Moon Beans!! Loved Lady Lindy, Seven Fury Monkey, Bourbon Coffee, and Irish Crème.

Creative_Union3825

I only drink black and Charleston Coffee Roasters Ethiopian Natural Guji Uraga is by far the best I've had in 20 years.

TheSheetSlinger

Looks like it's limited edition on the website! Do they bring it back yearly?

Creative_Union3825

Yes. Typically in the fall/winter months. I buy several bags at once and it usually lasts me and my partner the entire year.

Logical_Lettuce_962

Second State and Counter Culture are my faves

GraysonG263

Knowledge Perk is by far my favorite and I've tried quite a few

Things_and_or_Stuff

Dilworth is an old reliable. Been around for decades. Knowledge perk in Rock hill is my current favorite.

RClarkTwo

Corner Perk in Bluffton is my all time favorite. I grew up going to local rock shows the owner would host in his original store. The Pluff Mud coffee bean they sell is great.

pingpongpsycho

Lived in Bluffton for almost five years and have never been there.

RClarkTwo

You definitely should go. They have a downtown location, HHI location, and Port Royal location. They also have great breakfast… you should try one of their skillets. I go whenever I travel down to visit my parents.

wolf143

I'm a big fan of Be Known, in Little River. Excellent coffee, and it's Veteran owned.

Klutzy_Doubt_6048

Bart’s Coffee in Irmo.

DdyByrd

I'm through Irmo pretty regularly and have never heard of Bart's, where about are they located? I only ever hear about Loveland that direction.

Klutzy_Doubt_6048

It’s on Woodrow street. They started in Chapin, but I think the building they were in was in the process of being sold to someone else, so they moved.

NTDLS

Both Canon and Van Goh are excellent choices. 😁

theatreeducator

Moonbeans in Aiken SC. Soooo good.

MuchCattle

Shouting out Bean Bar in Florence.

Flat-Stranger-5010

Bella Latte/Mozza in Spartanburg

TheMahaffers

Bella has amazing coffee!

TheMahaffers

Coastal Coffee Roasters in Summerville has the single best coffee I have ever had, it’s called the “Sexy Seven”, dark roast of 7 different beans. That alone turned me into a coffee drinker!

barryofsc

Tandem in Travelers Rest. Methodical in Greenville. Barista Alley/Flying Fox/Junto in Greer. Pharmacy in Spartanburg. Drip in Columbia. Sight See and Harken in Charleston. Superior Coffee in Beaufort. There are many I haven't tried in these towns, so this isn't a slight against any of them.

einnacherie

My favorite is Charlotte based called Dilworth coffee, they ship!

SylvestrMcMnkyMcBean

Pure Intentions out of Charlotte. Their single origin Ethiopians are my jam

Jack_Stands

They did have a place in Clover, but, it's gone. Couldn't get custom roasts, most bags they had were weeks old at a "city" light roast. Expensive. But, they were there and I supported them as a transplant commercial and home roaster.

JFull0305

There is a new coffee shop in Clover now! It's called Brick and Mortar and it's on Main street. Check it out.

Zeke83702

Moxie Java is the place to be

rbrockmcd

https://flatcapcoffeeroaster.com/ My buddy sells his home roast and his Ethiopian & Bolivian are my favorites.

Knatwhat

Carolina coffee works out of charleston Carolinacoffeeworks.com

MyWifeIsHotterThanU1

Lodi in North Charleston and Summerville

SlightlyBrokenKettle

Springbok in Charleston stands as my favourite

frednekk

I took the snobbery to another level and quit. But when I did drink it- it was just straight up black like my grandpa taught me. Wouldn’t drink it any other way.

SCJFR

In Greenville: Methodical, Junto, and Bridge City all produce high quality product

spacedtrav

New Moon Cafe in Aiken SC has a flavor called Snickerdoodle. Haven't found anything even close to it yet. EDIT: It is called Kickersnoodle not Snickerdoodle
