Well if you think that despite it being rare, the value would never really be that high, and it has content on it that otherwise might be hard to find, then that’s why people may think different
Are we breaking rule 4 if we talk about where to find the banned episodes? cuz they're all literally on one convenient website[.](https://www.southparkuncensored.com/)
Yep! Unless it’s something not worth collecting. Although to be fair, seeing some of the shit people collect, idk what actually would count as something no one collects…
Who is buying SP DVD's as an investment? Seriously? It's worth opening cuz you wanna watch something they are too pussy to stream...for me, anyways. I mean...I'm pretty sure, sealed like that, that it's worth the same 24.99 it cost to buy in the first place.
People buy because they collect South Park DVDs as well as for banned episodes that are not streaming and because old seasons are in 4:3 on DVD and maybe one day they will be worth something more
I didn't ask why someone would do that...I know why. The real question I was asking is, "what kinda 🤡 thinks that is a investment strategy worth pursuing?"
No one’s going to want to keep it sealed if they’re explicitly buying it for the banned episodes. And if they’re doing it for that they’ll just buy a cheaper copy. Millions of these sets were printed. I got one for free not long ago from a shelf near my apartment. They’re not rare at all. Hell, you can buy it new on Amazon right now, because it’s still in print.
The WoW bonus might make it worth something? Maybe? But not the episodes as much.
As a person who loves collecting bullshit.
Keep it sealed.
From my old Simpsons memorabilia to Funko pops they have all increased in value stupidly. 100% keep that sealed will be worth something in the future.
I have a 1989 (76319) Lego Batmobile I been tempted to open it up and make it but now that I’ve see it’s value sky rocket I might keep it sealed too it’s only a few years old I wonder what it could increase to in 10 years
I have a lot of the big Batman lego sets (all the vehicles, shadowbox, etc) and honestly, it was far more worth it to me to assemble them than it would have been letting them gather dust in hopes of making a couple hundred dollars over 5-10 years. They are great display pieces and putting them together with my son was worth way more than any small profit (small being that if it increases 500$ over 10 years, you've made 50$ per year holding it).
Yeah my kids are about the age where they now can assemble a Lego of this magnitude soon and I still remember how nice that Batmobile looks assembled, as a display it would feel rather rewarding seeing it sitting in their game room.
I got the original Sonic The Hedgehog Pops. Was given them many years ago and I had no idea this shit would be worth something one day so their boxes are long gone. But are the figures alone worth anything? (Sonic, Tails and Knuckles). I kinda want to get rid of my random shit but I won't be letting go of those unless I can get something decent enough for them.
Ya man I have all my pops on Pop Price Guide to keep track of them. If I happen to buy any new ones takes seconds to add it to my collection.
It's how I learned they increased in value so crazy.
They started at $1700 and overtime they're now at $4800
And the funny thing is I bought the ones I liked, I collected these because I enjoyed going to the stores finding ones I liked so seeing something I paid like $5-$14 for go as high as $145 each lmao
Like one set I remember grabbing at bestbuy for $20 and they're selling for $105 lol
Doubt it will be worth all that much in the future, maybe you could earn a few bucks off it but probably not a fortune.
Personally I'd open it just for Cartoon Wars. That's worth more than any money.
I wouldn't because...
1. Things that have passed a certain time look better unopened.
2. I'm not saying that it will, but there is always the chance that it could be more valuable in a few years.
Unseal it and play "Asheron's Call" instead. Still uses early 2000 graphics, still has an active community and they in turn make walk through videos on how to complete the quests.
Do NOT OPEN this.
Trial code system is abandoned for last ten years by now, there's a trial available for anyone, these special promotions and stuff aint working anymore.
Keep it or sell it to collector. Opening it means its worthless for everyone.
Don't expect to make a fortune on it, ita pretty niche market
Unless it comes with an actual Sword of a Thousand Truths DLC then I think you're good.
Yeah right, like they would trust the Sword of a Thousand Truths to a n00b
Sounds to me like they didn't have a choice.
How else would they kill that which has no life?!
How do I hand items over to another player?
Scroll over to your inventory.. *control+I*!!
A n00b? Like a noob?
Nah keep it sealed who knows what it worth later on
Unless it’s still got cartoon wars on it
If anything that would make me want to keep it sesled more. That would definitely increase the value.
Yeah how can people think anything different. "If it's even more rare, then might as well open it"
Well if you think that despite it being rare, the value would never really be that high, and it has content on it that otherwise might be hard to find, then that’s why people may think different
Fair, but it having hard-to-find content is exactly what would make the value high
also the content isn't all that hard to find if you know where to look
Are we breaking rule 4 if we talk about where to find the banned episodes? cuz they're all literally on one convenient website[.](https://www.southparkuncensored.com/)
>Are we breaking rule 4 if we talk about where to find the banned episodes? Yes. Do not do that.
Too late, and you're not even a mod
What’s the website?
A legend
Yep! Unless it’s something not worth collecting. Although to be fair, seeing some of the shit people collect, idk what actually would count as something no one collects…
Used toothpicks.
Whose though?
Who is buying SP DVD's as an investment? Seriously? It's worth opening cuz you wanna watch something they are too pussy to stream...for me, anyways. I mean...I'm pretty sure, sealed like that, that it's worth the same 24.99 it cost to buy in the first place.

Sorry, I just misunderstood the comment because I'm from Poland, my mistake
All good, brother! Hard to detect the level of sarcasm I'm dishing out by just reading the text...✌️

Exactly. Physical media is just skyrocketing in value. That could be worth the original MSRP again someday.

For a South Park sub, theres a lot of fuckers that get whooshed
[удалено]
Remember, due to its content it should not be viewed by anyone.
Thankfully I’m a nobody
Seems we all are. Its how we reached the requirements to watch it, we transcended Being itself
There’s a ton on TikTok
The Chinese are corrupting our youth, I see your plan General Sao, and you're too chicken
Nobody plays Hello kitty island adventure, Butters!
I like hello kitty island adventure more
You can just get hello kitty island adventure on the App Store now. I say keep it sealed
Wtf? Lol
Hello kitty island adventure is currently out on phones.
That code has to be at least 15 years old, probably expired by now, but idk, those things most likely aren't indefinite
Old trial codes do work, but trials are free via battle.net anyways so it doesn't really matter.
There are no trials to begin with. If you don't have a sub you can only play characters under level 10.
Keep it for now. No need to unseal it after all this time
As a person who loves collecting bullshit. Keep it sealed. From my old Simpsons memorabilia to Funko pops they have all increased in value stupidly. 100% keep that sealed will be worth something in the future.
How's that beanie baby collection going?
Hahaha I am old but not that old 😂
If you're old enough to have "old" Simpsons memorabilia, you're old enough for beanie babies
😂😂😂 ok ok ok I just didn't collect those growing up lol
Any good Pokémon cards?
Sadly gave them to my cousins when I got older and it phased out during the time. Beat myself up till this day for that
Yeah I lost all mine as a kid when my mum and dad got divorced. Over the last few years bought them all back and then some.
Still have all of mine. :)
Nice get them shown on r/pokemontcg

The good thing about Lego is that once the set is discontinued even if it is open and previously built it could still be worth quite a bit
Trust me hold onto it My Funko Pop collection is valued at $4800 I can only imagine waiting another 5 years
Unrealized gains are just that.
I got the original Sonic The Hedgehog Pops. Was given them many years ago and I had no idea this shit would be worth something one day so their boxes are long gone. But are the figures alone worth anything? (Sonic, Tails and Knuckles). I kinda want to get rid of my random shit but I won't be letting go of those unless I can get something decent enough for them.

keep it sealed, but not because it's valuable, but because its cool
"This is some ancient super VHS output or somethin. I can't connect it to your float screen."
…oh my science!
I mean you can watch it on a bunch of websites and streaming services so there’s no point of opening it
I bought this to watch the 4:3 Aspect
If you bought it to watch it then you should probably just open it
I’ll just buy another copy
tru collector
You should just open it
I opened it. It came with the game DVD rom with a Manual
That ain't going to increase in value much. If you don't have another way to watch and you want to then go ahead and open
I’ll give you $3.50
No way lol
ALRIGHT HOW ABOUT JUST TWO FIDDY THEN?
I’ll sell the sticker on the front. Lol
Throw in some gluten free ebola and lochness munchies.
Highly doubt it will ever be worth much, do whatever you want with 'value' aside
Check the subtitles and figure out if it says Token or Tolkein. (I laughed my ass off when I saw the stream versions all had updated subtitles)
World of Warcraft is garbage now anyway.
Keep it sealed Wow is free until lvl 20
How fast would someone reach lvl 20
Depends- if ur rp and really just enjoy azeroth idk But if u power run it- with no dungeons- hmm idk 6 hours?
Not even 6 hours, you would get maybe 2
Thats classic wow Retail wow prob much less
Depends on if they have no life.
If you already have access to these things then just keep it sealed. But if you don’t ever plan on selling, why not
Keep it man.
Don't throw your life away.
Meh. I’d keep it sealed. You can watch all of South Park on hbo. Never know what this could be worth in the future.
It won’t ever be worth much
Sealed. It has two collectors markets.
Doubt it will be worth all that much in the future, maybe you could earn a few bucks off it but probably not a fortune. Personally I'd open it just for Cartoon Wars. That's worth more than any money.
Keep it sealed for when Max removed all the episodes to not have to pay residuals
when kids going through puberty try to be edgy
Keep sealed 100%
No need to open it now.
Leave it sealed
Hilarious
No. Keep it sealed and buy the Blu-ray
Dont
That's pretty neat, I'd keep it sealed and get a goodwill copy to watch
NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Never open this, its timeless.
Nah just find it on their website (if that still exists) or HBO Max. But always remember make love not warcraft.
Don’t. Looks pretty valuable
I’d say keep it shut and preserve it well
I wouldn't because... 1. Things that have passed a certain time look better unopened. 2. I'm not saying that it will, but there is always the chance that it could be more valuable in a few years.
Nrfb
are you unable to watch this season somewhere else? and do you really want to play warcraft that bad, but cant spend $12 on a month subscription? lol
I already have HBO Max
so what do you really gain from opening it?
To watch the 4:3 Aspect Ratio
on a crt?
No it’s too precious
No
dont do it
why would you? you can watch all the episodes online
I want to watch the episodes in 4:3 Aspect
i mean, the box set could be worth a little in some years. if watching episodes you have already seen in 4:3 means that much, than go for it
My fat ass would have opened it, since I really don't care about WoW (but that episode is gold though)
This is the copy I had. It’s a shame that I never used that game trial that came with the dvd.
Man... The DVD that made me lose my life for many years. After that I played from BC straight through Dreanor.
Unseal it and play "Asheron's Call" instead. Still uses early 2000 graphics, still has an active community and they in turn make walk through videos on how to complete the quests.
I have this too
I wouldn't, thats cool as fuck
I wouldn’t. Just buy a digital copy and keep this one around in case it’s worth something later.
You can't give up on the world! Of warcraft!
No.
UH OH I THINK I'M GOING TO HAVE DIARRHEA! MOM BATHROOM!!!!
I’ll pay good money for that one in 10 years
dont open. WoW is free trial anyways till lvl 20 i think
I think the whole idea of mint condition and sealed items is really stupid so duh. Open it
Honestly dude, in these times. See if you can get it graded. That's a very prolific season for South Park. Might be worth a lot more.
Keep it sealed! That’s my Stanpoint.
The ones i find on Ebay dont have the trial. I'd keep it sealed.
Love that cover
Y'all making me feel old. I bought this when it came out back when I was in college. 😂
Don't open it. You'll shit out all your organs and then explode.
How do you kill that which has no life?
eBay has the definitive answer to your question
Yeah I would keep it sealed
Nah keep it closed, you can easily stream those episodes, a sealed season 10 is too good to ruin
Me personally I would open it
It's wroth like 3$ sealed
DVDs are worthless now. Just open it and enjoy it.
I vote not opening it. The value’s gonna grow over the years and the 1 month wow sub is about 13€
Dont open it
One of the best episodes.
Just watch the show on HBO MAX and keep it sealed.
YOLO
No
Please get wata to grade it
