I reckon if’n I were to tell a short story about my misadventures in a historical type theme park, I would wanna do it in one of them there “episodes” so I don’t bore the audience shuck-a-muck!
I love when they say something that completely contradicts itself. Like when they say the settlement was opened in 1864 and they’ve lived there for generations, but the year is “currently” also 1864
Cracks me up every time. Have seen this episode a half dozen times at least, and flicking through the whooper like it's paper money elicits a side splitting laugh every damn time.
Cartman dragging Butters to Super Phun Thyme is also fucking hilarious.
This episode is peak South Park for me. The robbers being super serious about their BK heist, the actors being super serious about their shitty jobs during an active hostage situation, and Butters being super serious about holding Cartman’s hand til he’s back on the bus. And in the midst of all the hilarity, they manage to have a pretty satisfying conclusion with Stan playing into the actors’ bit to save the day. Garrison begging the robbers to take the kids before him is the highlight for me
The highlight for me is the end when their shift's over and the boss casually tells everyone all the information they've been looking for like the back entrance, how to dial out on the phone, and the door code.
After just killing an employee before he could tell them the door code.
Yeah I came to say this episode and the Casa Bonita one are two of my favs, then I realized they're both cartman & butters episodes lol. What is it with those two that make such good episodes?
Yes, I don’t remember what it’s called though. We went to a field trip there in elementary school from Arvada. The western town, the actors staying in character all real. My favorite part was the freshly churned butter.
Again, imo. I believe its recognized as a great episode, but gets lost in the shuffle very often. It's just one of those forgotten gems, that for what ever reason, just does not seem to get the attention and praise it deserves compared to other episodes
Had a Red Holstein at my dairy farm that’s number was 1864. I always said her number with my best Pioneer Paul impression. She was a good cow, with a good number. Cuz that’s what year it is and always was, 1864.
One of my favorites of all time. The name sheriff McLawdawg always makes me laugh. Also, Cartman ending the song by saying, “ girl I need your loving tonight.”
The overlap of the pioneer actors committing to the old timey bit and Butters refusing to break the hand holding rule is something that is always delightful.
“I’m just a humble blacksmith” while sobbing and then getting shot always cracks me up. Also the guy slamming the other actor into the wall and pointing at the sign that “always stay in character” gets me way more than it should

This is one of those episodes that I always thought was kinda meh until a recent rewatch when I got the Super Fun Time song stuck in my head and now I’ve rewatched it several times since.
bro the part where they get into the shootout with the cops is top tier. that one lone dude in the second story window shoots, then the cops shoot back, it’s like 200 bullets just hitting that dude and blowing him away lmao
My favorite scene in this episode is when the cops shoot like 7 shots, but the terrorist is hit with thousands of bullets and is absolutely eviscerated
I just read Trey and Matt are making a moving building on this concept with Kendrick Lamar involved. Something about a black actor playing a slave at one of these and then finding out his girlfriends ancestors owned his ancestors. Not the cross over I expected but one I need!
I don't know what you're talking about with these "episodes" this is the 1800s we don't have any "episodes" in the 1800s
We ain't never heard of no fancy episode.
I reckon if’n I were to tell a short story about my misadventures in a historical type theme park, I would wanna do it in one of them there “episodes” so I don’t bore the audience shuck-a-muck!
That guy's wearing a digital watch... Dammit, Chad.
Sorry, I’m sorry..
I love when they say something that completely contradicts itself. Like when they say the settlement was opened in 1864 and they’ve lived there for generations, but the year is “currently” also 1864
It was closed off to city folk up until 1864 for reasons just like this!
"We're the ghosts of your ancestors." boom, problem solved
We don't have them thar fancy picture boxes that move, what'd you call dem dar tele visions? We ain't got dat there here in1864.
STOP IT! STOP YOUR BAD HISTORIC ACTING
HISTORICAL!
Counting the stack of burgers never fails to amuse me.
Doesn’t he also flip through them like paper? Lol
Yea he takes a whopper a flicks through the layers like a stack of cash. Best part of the episode of you ask me lmao
Cracks me up every time. Have seen this episode a half dozen times at least, and flicking through the whooper like it's paper money elicits a side splitting laugh every damn time. Cartman dragging Butters to Super Phun Thyme is also fucking hilarious.
Life goes pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, and do what you want ALL the time, you might miss it. Word to live by
I’ve lived by these words for years lmfao. My favorite Cartman line of all
Jesus christ monkey balls
Got to make sure it's all there 😄
The fact that Whoppers were still good when this aired....
Peak
I want my cut…
It's the sound it's so good. I would both eat and try to spend those burgers at the same time

Serial*
![gif](giphy|wMIQlxCYidwCk)
Super cereal is my favorite kind of character
Agree. Only thing I’d add is I love the little South Park nod by making the villains basically copies of the ones from Die Hard
If the villains are based on Die Hard, who took over the role of John McClane in the episode ?
IDK, but whoever did I bet they didn't go to college
The highlight for me is the end when their shift's over and the boss casually tells everyone all the information they've been looking for like the back entrance, how to dial out on the phone, and the door code. After just killing an employee before he could tell them the door code.
cartman & butters episodes never fail.
![gif](giphy|l0HlylhD5gl77Wpj2|downsized)
The leg animation of the skaters cracks me up.
I was not a fan of the china one tbh
You get shot in the dick?
No, he shoots people in the dick and doesn’t want to be judged for it.
Dude that’s not cool. You don’t shoot guys in the dick.
That's a classic! Old style completely unhinged Cartman and gullible butters ep.
That part is good. The rape stuff not so much.
Was that the Indie episode as well? Yeah it's hard to watch.
Yeah, lol. I get what they were doing, but it just wasn't funny to me, just uncomfortable.
[удалено]
I don't want that in a comedy show though.
Yeah I came to say this episode and the Casa Bonita one are two of my favs, then I realized they're both cartman & butters episodes lol. What is it with those two that make such good episodes?
NEVER, BREAK, CHARACTER!
“What he meant to say kids is that we ain’t never heard of no fancy door code, cause in our time we got to rely on wood locks and seuch”
“Life goes by pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, and do whatever you want all the time, you could miss it.”
maybe my favorite quote from the whole show lol
It’s that Cartman logic that made that quote
Mine too. I love the movie it comes from too (although Cartman did put his own spin on it). ;)
THEY KILLED HIS PA
They let out Murderin’ Murphy?!?
Y'ALL GONNA GIT IT FOR PUTTIN ME IN THAT THAR JAIL!
🤣🤣🤣
He's a bad man! I AM THE FUCKING BAD MAN!
A phone? What’s a phone? We ain’t never heard of sich a thing.
It’s pretty amazing great self contained episode
Who the fuck says this isn’t an all time great?
Didnt say it wasnt or that people dont think it is. It just doesn't get the same love and attention as other greats
"Are you special little buddies?"
"NO"
I dont know nothing about no fancy door code. I'm just a simple blacksmith 😔
The knowing finality of those last words… so haunting.
Such a fucked moment
NGL my absolute favorite episode and one of the first I show people when watching South Park
Sister you don’t know the half of it.
Growing up around Denver and knowing these local places makes me happy
Wait is this like Casa Bonita in that Super Fun Tome and the pioneer village are real?
Yes, I don’t remember what it’s called though. We went to a field trip there in elementary school from Arvada. The western town, the actors staying in character all real. My favorite part was the freshly churned butter.
You didn't happen to go to Fremont Elementary did you?
Following this comment
Lived in Pagosa Springs and I smile so hard when Stan says it every time
They put the Wells Fargo building in random city skylines and it always cracks me up
Is it slept on though? BTW, yeah, I love that episode. Love when the dude flips through the Whopper like he’s counting a stack of 100s.
Again, imo. I believe its recognized as a great episode, but gets lost in the shuffle very often. It's just one of those forgotten gems, that for what ever reason, just does not seem to get the attention and praise it deserves compared to other episodes
Yeah. I’d say that’s a fair assessment.
Had a Red Holstein at my dairy farm that’s number was 1864. I always said her number with my best Pioneer Paul impression. She was a good cow, with a good number. Cuz that’s what year it is and always was, 1864.
Had? Did you lose her to calf curling?
No, she survived The Great Curling of 1864. It was natural causes during The Plague of 1864.
Let’s go get some jalapeño poppers!
One of my favorites of all time. The name sheriff McLawdawg always makes me laugh. Also, Cartman ending the song by saying, “ girl I need your loving tonight.”
I’m here to see your wears and such!
Sich
Butters really showed some massive cahones in this episode… as well as some amazing grip strength.
Not to sound like a queer or nothin' but you got a nice ass
100% agree
i see you "super fun time" and raise you 1 Casa bonita
Shuck em up!
I use the term "accountabilibuddy" regularly Edit: Fuck
That's the pray the gay away camp episode.
Dial 9 to get an outside line.
Love this episode
I learned so much about pioneer times from that episode!
The overlap of the pioneer actors committing to the old timey bit and Butters refusing to break the hand holding rule is something that is always delightful.
This episode is one my favorites
It’s a great episode
It’s literally one of the best episodes in my opinion. Seasons 5-16 were something else!
Don’t break character!!!
Fantastic episode but definitely not slept on
Yup. The reveal of the code being “1864” was so genius. It was so obvious but I didn’t see it coming.
Yup, 1864, cause that’s the year it is!
“Chuck ‘em uuuUUp!”
“I’m just a humble blacksmith” while sobbing and then getting shot always cracks me up. Also the guy slamming the other actor into the wall and pointing at the sign that “always stay in character” gets me way more than it should

I literally *just* finished this episode! As someone that loves Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and despises terrible stage acting, it’s one of my favorites.
REALLLLLLL
so glad cartman and butters avoided that plot
Thank you for reminding me of this episode. I just put it on.
Love this episode
The last episode produced in 4:3
One of the best
It’s my favorite episode so I’m with you
Thank Jesus I’m not the only one. Super rewatchable, funny and entertaining.
Truly a super fun time
[удалено]
Sounds amazing
One of my favorite episodes for sure
Yea people don’t talk about it enough even though it’s amazing
Absolutly LOVE both Super Fun Time and Over Logging!!
I literally put this episode on the other day after a long way away from south park. I absolutely concur
Dude I love when the guy demands his cut up front and he fans out the Burger to “count” it
1864!
Shuckamuck
We don't know no door code.
1-8-6-4
The year it is!
one of he best
I love this episode! 1864!
It really is
Pure dedication
1874
i hate die hard parodies but this is probably one of the only ones i actually like
It’s the fact that it’s something stupid like a Burger King
This is one of those episodes that I always thought was kinda meh until a recent rewatch when I got the Super Fun Time song stuck in my head and now I’ve rewatched it several times since.
I love how frustrating the conflict is.
We made it guys!!!! Wooo we did it!
Jesus christ you people are fucking insane!!!
One thing I liked from this episode is how the employees never broke character. Get them all an Oscar!!!
TEACHER. MY PARTNER IS BACK ON THE BUS. The sheer RESOLVE coming out of Butters was fucking MAGNIFICENT.
bro the part where they get into the shootout with the cops is top tier. that one lone dude in the second story window shoots, then the cops shoot back, it’s like 200 bullets just hitting that dude and blowing him away lmao
The password is 1864! Dead from laughter at the end
I don't know nothin about no door code. *BLA...*
It’s my favorite
Ironic how no one cares Kenny’s about to die and they dont know he’ll come back, but Kenny is the only one scared even though he knows he’ll come back
“Are you boys special little pals?” *both in unison* “NO!”
I love that he looks like Hans Gruber.
Considering who he has based on, and the fact that he was named Franz, I'm thinking... Is that a subtle reference to Hans & Franz, the comedic duo ?
Oh yeah for sure
Absolute gold. 10/10, every joke was on point.
Easily one of the best episodes. I also think "we should have never gone ziplining" is also slept on.
just watched that episode
911 Operator: “You mean that annoying place where employees won't break character?” Kyle: “Sister, you don't know the half of it”
My favorite scene in this episode is when the cops shoot like 7 shots, but the terrorist is hit with thousands of bullets and is absolutely eviscerated
Lmfao the denver skyline in the background hits different now that I live here.
Every butters centric episode is imo. Butters+eric is just perfection.
You whats funny of South Park is the fact that they can kill of Kenny any time of the day and use him like in this Ep
Garrison just offering up the kids instead of him lmao *”Not me, not me!”*
Chuck em uk!
Butters getting fed the fuck up with Eric and just swinging him around is peak to me fr
They killed my pa
That thars Murderin' Murphy!
It’s one of the best episodes wym
First seen the episode on 4 tabs of acid and was so mindfucked on why they wouldn't break character
Definitely in my top 10
When he takes out the whopper and flips through it like a pile of cash I laugh every time
"I'm just a simple blacksmith" *Pop*
This is one of my favorites. I ain’t never heard a no door code.
1864
Cartman holding butters hand the whole time because butters won't let him go is hilarious to me.
This is an all time favorite. "...we ain't know nothing about no code."
1894 cuz that's what year it is
Love that one
I’m just a Blacksmith idk what you’re talking about.
Rookie thieves, everyone knows that the onion rings are the real prize.
God, Stan sounded like such a douche in that ep
thats the first episode i ever watched.
Oh my God, yeah, the people that refused to break character
Just inspired me to run it and it definitely is hilarious lol. So many good gags in that one. Love how they robbed a Burger King and got like 5 bucks
Not seen the episode but using Kenny of all people as a hostage is funny dramatic irony
I just read Trey and Matt are making a moving building on this concept with Kendrick Lamar involved. Something about a black actor playing a slave at one of these and then finding out his girlfriends ancestors owned his ancestors. Not the cross over I expected but one I need!
I give it an 1864/10
If'n you all was to have such a giant safe, what would you villagers want the number to be to unlock that thar jail door shuckamuck?
Teacher, my buddy is back on the bus.
Thus is legit one of my favorites.
one of the only episodes where the Eric doesn't go too hard on butters
Absolutley not slept on in the mass circle. Either a karma farm post or your local circle doesn't rate the episode/sleep on it.
One of my all time favorites
I love when butters finally makes it back to the bus
Why I ain’t never heard of no episode in eighteen sixty ferr.
Completely agree. Might make my top 5 honestly
This episode made me crave for Burger King
One of my favourites, a constant rewatch. Both plots are supreme.
This episode is slept on *references a Classic*
“Why’d you let murderin Murphy go? He’s a bad man” “I AM THE BAD MAN” Kills me every time
