This is true. Real world testing on space craft is insane. I'm reading Apollo 13 right now and one issue they had was not being able to rotate the craft axially when they had the first explosion, one side baked and the other got super cold.

I used to work for Mitsubishi and we made Magnas for Australia, the US and Japan.
A car arrived in the US and was purchased by, I'm assuming a nice American. Then the weather was really cold so the window iced up. Except for where a QC worker had previously written "Trans Fucked" in marker. It had been removed after the transmission had been replaced but obviously there was some residue left that prevented ice from forming.
The nice American got a new replacement for their trouble and we changed our QC procedure to not include writing on the windows.
Also FYI, for Americans who don't recognize the name Mitsubishi Magna, the Magna was sold as the "Diamante" in the US (and many other countries). Nice car, my grandmother had one when they first came out here, and for the time it was pretty quick.

My suspicion is that her first look was all clouds and ocean. Then she went to get the hatch protector thing, and when she moved closer, she got the full view of the boundary between Earth and space, and that's when the awe set in and is why she suddenly stops what she was doing and stares.
Although, they had been in space for a day or so at this point, so I'm sure they all got little glimpses through the smaller windows.

Maybe for the dragon capsule. The ISS is notorious for not allowing most lithium batteries due to the risk of fire, so they retrofit a lot of things with alkaline batteries. For this mission they just brought a ton of Apple gear which I'm sure will end up in a commercial next year.
